Isaiah 66

1 The glorious God will be served in humble sincerety. 5 He comforteth the humble with the marvellous generation, 10 and with the gracious benefits of the Church. 15 God's severe judgments against the wicked. 19 The Gentiles shall have an holy Church, 24 and see the damnation of the wicked.

 66:1 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 The heauen 8064 [is] my throne, 3678 and the earth 776 [is] my footestoole: 7272 1916 where x335 is the house 1004 that x834 yee builde 1129 z8799 vnto mee? and where x335 is the x2088 place 4725 of my rest? 4496

 66:2 For all x3605 those x428 things hath mine hand 3027 made, 6213 z8804 and all x3605 those x428 things haue beene, x1961 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD: 3068 but to x413 this x2088 [man] wil I looke, 5027 z8686 [euen] to x413 him [that is] poore 6041 and of a contrite 5223 spirit, 7307 and trembleth 2730 at x5921 my word. 1697

 66:3 He that killeth 7819 z8802 an oxe 7794 [is as if] he slue 5221 z8688 a man: 376 he that sacrificeth 2076 z8802 a lambe, 7716 [as if] he cut off y6202 z0 a dogs y3611 necke: 6202 z8802 x3611 he that offereth 5927 z8688 an oblation, 4503 [as if he offered] swines 2386 blood: 1818 he that burneth 2142 z8688 incense, 3828 [as if] he blessed 1288 z8764 an idole: 205 yea, x1571 they x1992 haue chosen 977 z8804 their owne wayes, 1870 and their soule 5315 delighteth 2654 z8804 in their abominations. 8251

 66:5 ¶ Heare 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the LORD, 3068 ye that tremble 2730 at x413 his word: 1697 Your brethren 251 that hated 8130 z8802 you, that cast you out 5077 z8764 for my Names y8034 sake, x4616 x8034 sayd, 559 z8804 Let the LORD 3068 be glorified: 3513 z8799 but he shal appeare 7200 z8737 to your ioy, 8057 and they x1992 shalbe ashamed. 954 z8799

 66:6 A voice 6963 of noyse 7588 from the city, 5892 x4480 a voice 6963 from the Temple, 1964 x4480 a voice 6963 of the LORD, 3068 that rendreth 7999 z8764 recompense 1576 to his enemies. 341 z8802

 66:7 Before x2962 she trauailed, 2342 z8799 she brought foorth: 3205 z8804 before x2962 her paine 2256 came, 935 z8799 shee was deliuered 4422 z8689 of a man childe. 2145

 66:8 Who x4310 hath heard 8085 z8804 such a thing? x2063 who x4310 hath seene 7200 z8804 such things? x428 shall the earth 776 be made to bring forth 2342 z8714 in one 259 day, 3117 [or] shall a nation 1471 be borne 3205 z8735 at once? 6471 x259 for x3588 as soone x1571 as y1571 Zion 6726 traueiled, 2342 z8804 shee brought foorth 3205 z8804 x853 her children. 1121

 66:9 Shall I x589 bring to the birth, 7665 z8686 & not x3808 cause to bring forth, 3205 z8686 saith 559 z8799 the LORD? 3068 shall I 589 cause to bring foorth, 3205 z8688 and shut 6113 z8804 [the wombe], sayth 559 z8804 thy God? 430

 66:10 Reioyce 8055 z8798 ye with x854 Ierusalem, 3389 and be glad 1523 z8798 with her, all x3605 yee that loue 157 z8802 her: reioyce 7797 z8798 for ioy 4885 with x854 her, all x3605 yee that mourne 56 z8693 for x5921 her:

 66:11 That x4616 ye may sucke 3243 z8799 and be satisfied 7646 z8804 with the breasts 7699 x4480 of her consolations: 8575 that x4616 ye may milke out, 4711 z8799 and be delighted 6026 z8694 with the abundance 2123 x4480 of her glory. 3519

 66:12 For x3588 thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Behold, x2009 I will extend 5186 z8802 peace 7965 to x413 her like a riuer, 5104 and the glory 3519 of the Gentiles 1471 like a flowing 7857 z8802 streame: 5158 then shall ye sucke, 3243 z8804 ye shalbe borne 5375 z8735 vpon x5921 [her] sides, 6654 and be dandled 8173 z8746 vpon x5921 her knees. 1290

 66:13 As one 376 whom x834 his mother 517 comforteth, 5162 z8762 so x3651 wil I x595 comfort 5162 z8762 you: and ye shall be comforted 5162 z8792 in Ierusalem. 3389

 66:14 And when yee see 7200 z8804 [this], your heart 3820 shall reioyce, 7797 z8804 and your bones 6106 shall flourish 6524 z8799 like an herbe: 1877 and the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 shall be knowen 3045 z8738 towards x854 his seruants, 5650 and [his] indignation 2194 z8804 towards x854 his enemies. 341 z8802

 66:15 For x3588 behold, x2009 the LORD 3068 wil come 935 z8799 with fire, 784 and with his charets 4818 like a whirlewinde, 5492 to render 7725 z8687 his anger 639 with furie, 2534 and his rebuke 1606 with flames 3851 of fire. 784

 66:16 For x3588 by fire 784 and by his sword, 2719 will the LORD 3068 plead 8199 z8737 with x854 all x3605 flesh: 1320 and the slaine 2491 of the LORD 3068 shalbe many. 7231 z8804

 66:17 They that sanctifie y6942 z8693 themselues, x6942 and purifie y2891 z8693 themselues x2891 in x413 the gardens, 1593 behinde 310 one 259 [tree] in the midst, 8432 eating 398 z8802 swines 2386 flesh, 1320 and the abomination, 8263 and the mouse, 5909 shall be consumed 5486 z8799 together, 3162 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 66:18 For I x595 [know] their works 4639 and their thoughts: 4284 it shall come 935 z8802 that I will gather 6908 z8763 x853 all x3605 nations 1471 and tongues, 3956 and they shall come 935 z8804 and see 7200 z8804 x853 my glorie. 3519

 66:19 And I will set 7760 z8804 a signe 226 among them, and I will send 7971 z8765 those that escape 6412 of them x4480 vnto x413 the nations, 1471 to Tarshish, 8659 Pul 6322 and Lud, 3865 that draw 4900 z8802 the bow, 7198 to Tubal 8422 and Iauan, 3120 to the Iles 339 afarre off, 7350 that x834 haue not x3808 heard 8085 z8804 x853 my fame, 8088 neither x3808 haue seene 7200 z8804 x853 my glory, 3519 and they shall declare 5046 z8689 x853 my glory 3519 among the Gentiles. 1471

 66:20 And they shall bring 935 z8689 x853 all x3605 your brethren 251 for an offering 4503 vnto the LORD, 3068 out of all x4480 x3605 nations, 1471 vpon horses 5483 and in charets, 7393 and in litters, 6632 and vpon mules, 6505 and vpon swift beasts 3753 to x5921 my holie 6944 mountaine 2022 Ierusalem, 3389 saith 559 z8804 the LORD; 3068 as x834 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 bring 935 z8686 x853 an offering 4503 in a cleane 2889 vessell, 3627 into the house 1004 of the LORD. 3068

 66:21 And I will also x1571 take 3947 z8799 of x4480 them for Priestes 3548 [and] for Leuites, 3881 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 66:22 For x3588 as x834 the new 2319 heauens, 8064 and the new 2319 earth 776 which x834 I x589 wil make, 6213 z8802 shall remaine 5975 z8802 before 6440 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 so x3651 shall your seed 2233 and your name 8034 remaine. 5975 z8799

 66:23 And it shall come to passe, x1961 that from 1767 x4480 one new Moone 2320 to an other, 2320 and from 1767 x4480 one Sabbath 7676 to an other, 7676 shall all x3605 flesh 1320 come 935 z8799 to worship 7812 z8692 before 6440 me, saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 66:24 And they shall goe foorth, 3318 z8804 and looke 7200 z8804 vpon the carkeises 6297 of the men y582 x376 that haue transgressed 6586 z8802 against me: for x3588 their worme 8438 shall not x3808 die, 4191 z8799 neither x3808 shall their fire 784 be quenched, 3518 z8799 and they shall be x1961 an abhorring 1860 vnto all x3605 flesh. 1320
