Isaiah 32

1 The blessings of Christ's Kingdom. 9 Desolation is foreshewn. 15 Restoration is promised to succeed.

 32:1 ¶ Behold, x2005 a King 4428 shal reigne 4427 z8799 in righteousnes, 6664 and princes 8269 shal rule 8323 z8799 in iudgement. 4941

 32:2 And a man 376 shall be x1961 as an hiding place 4224 from the winde, 7307 and a couert 5643 from the tempest: 2230 as riuers 6388 of water 4325 in a drie place, 6724 as the shadow 6738 of a great 3515 rocke 5553 in a wearie 5889 land. 776

 32:3 And the eyes 5869 of them that see, 7200 z8802 shall not x3808 be dimme; 8159 z8799 and the eares 241 of them that heare, 8085 z8802 shall hearken. 7181 z8799

 32:4 The heart 3824 also of the rash 4116 z8737 shall vnderstand 995 z8799 knowledge, y1847 x3045 and the tongue 3956 of the stammerers 5926 shall bee readie 4116 z8762 to speake 1696 z8763 plainely. 6703

 32:5 The vile person 5036 shall be no x3808 more x5750 called 7121 z8735 liberall, 5081 nor x3808 the churle 3596 sayd 559 z8735 to be bountifull. 7771

 32:6 For x3588 the vile person 5036 wil speake 1696 z8762 villenie, 5039 and his heart 3820 will worke 6213 z8799 iniquitie, 205 to practise 6213 z8800 hypocrisie, 2612 and to vtter 1696 z8763 errour 8442 against x413 the LORD, 3068 to make emptie 7324 z8687 the soule 5315 of the hungry, 7457 and hee will cause the drinke 4945 of the thirstie 6771 to faile. 2637 z8686

 32:7 The instruments 3627 also of the churle 3596 [are] euill: 7451 he x1931 deuiseth 3289 z8804 wicked deuices, 2154 to destroy 2254 z8763 the poore 6041 z8675 y6035 with lying 8267 wordes, 561 euen when the needie 34 speaketh 1696 z8763 right. 4941

 32:8 But the liberall 5081 deuiseth 3289 z8804 liberall things, 5081 and by x5921 liberall things 5081 shall hee stand. 6965 z8799

 32:9 ¶ Rise vp 6965 z8798 ye women 802 that are at ease: 7600 heare 8085 z8798 my voice, 6963 ye carelesse 982 z8802 daughters, 1323 giue eare 238 z8685 vnto my speech. 565

 32:10 Many dayes 3117 and yeeres 8141 shall ye be troubled, 7264 z8799 yee carelesse women: 982 z8802 for x3588 the vintage 1210 shall faile, 3615 z8804 the gathering 625 shall not x1097 come. 935 z8799

 32:11 Tremble 2729 z8798 yee women that are at ease: 7600 be troubled, 7264 z8798 ye carelesse ones, 982 z8802 strip 6584 z8800 ye and make ye bare, 6209 z8798 and gird 2290 [sackecloth] vpon x5921 your loynes. 2504

 32:12 They shall lament 5594 z8802 for x5921 the teats, 7699 for x5921 the pleasant 2531 fieldes, 7704 for x5921 the fruitfull 6509 z8802 vine. 1612

 32:13 Upon x5921 the land 127 of my people 5971 shall come vp 5927 z8799 thornes, 6975 [and] briars, 8068 yea x3588 vpon x5921 all x3605 the houses 1004 of ioy 4885 in the ioyous 5947 citie. 7151

 32:14 Because x3588 the palaces 759 shall be forsaken, 5203 z8795 the multitude 1995 of the citie 5892 shall be left, 5800 z8795 the forts 6076 and towres 975 shall be x1961 for x1157 dennes 4631 for y5704 euer, 5769 x5704 a ioy 4885 of wild asses, 6501 a pasture 4829 of flockes; 5739

 32:15 Untill x5704 the spirit 7307 be powred 6168 z8735 vpon x5921 vs from on high, 4791 x4480 and the wildernesse 4057 be x1961 a fruitfull field, 3759 and the fruitfull field 3759 be counted 2803 z8735 for a forrest. 3293

 32:16 Then iudgement 4941 shall dwell 7931 z8804 in the wildernesse, 4057 and righteousnesse 6666 remaine 3427 z8799 in the fruitfull field. 3759

 32:17 And the worke 4639 of righteousnesse 6666 shalbe x1961 peace, 7965 and the effect 5656 of righteousnesse, 6666 quietnesse 8252 z8687 and assurance 983 for y5704 euer. 5769 x5704

 32:18 And my people 5971 shall dwell 3427 z8804 in a peaceable 7965 habitation, 5116 and in sure 4009 dwellings, 4908 and in quiet 7600 resting places: 4496

 32:19 When it shall haile, 1258 z8804 comming downe 3381 z8800 on the forrest; 3293 and the citie 5892 shall be low 8213 z8799 in a low place. 8218

 32:20 Blessed 835 [are] yee that sow 2232 z8802 beside x5921 all x3605 waters, 4325 that send forth 7971 z8764 [thither] the feete 7272 of the oxe 7794 and the asse. 2543
