Isaiah 62

1 The fervent desire of the prophet to confirm the Church in God's promises. 5 The office of the ministers (unto which they are incited) in preaching the Gospel, 10 and preparing the people thereto.

 62:1 ¶ For Zions y6726 sake, x4616 x6726 wil I not x3808 hold my peace, 2814 z8799 and for Ierusalems y3389 sake x4616 I will not x3808 rest, 8252 z8799 vntill x5704 the righteousnesse 6664 thereof goe forth 3318 z8799 as brightnesse, 5051 and the saluation 3444 thereof as a lampe 3940 [that] burneth; 1197 z8799

 62:2 And the Gentiles 1471 shall see 7200 z8804 thy righteousnes, 6664 and all x3605 Kings 4428 thy glory: 3519 and thou shalt be called 7121 z8795 by a new 2319 name, y5344 z8799 x8034 which x834 the mouth 6310 of the LORD 3068 shall name. y8034 x5344

 62:3 Thou shalt also be x1961 a crowne 5850 of glory 8597 in the hand 3027 of the LORD, 3068 and a royall 4410 diademe 6797 z8675 in the hand 3709 of thy God. 430

 62:4 Thou shalt no x3808 more x5750 bee termed, 559 z8735 Forsaken; 5800 z8803 neither x3808 shall thy land 776 any more x5750 be termed, 559 z8735 Desolate: 8077 but x3588 thou shalt be called 7121 z8735 Hephzi-bah, 2657 and thy land, 776 Beulah: 1166 z8803 for x3588 the LORD 3068 delighteth 2654 z8804 in thee, and thy land 776 shalbe maried. 1166 z8735

 62:5 ¶ For x3588 [as] a yong man 970 marrieth 1166 z8799 a virgine, 1330 so shall thy sonnes 1121 marry 1166 z8799 thee: and [as] the bridegrome 2860 reioyceth 4885 ouer x5921 the bride, 3618 [so] shall thy God 430 reioyce 7797 z8799 ouer x5921 thee.

 62:6 I haue set 6485 z8689 watchmen 8104 z8802 vpon x5921 thy walles, 2346 O Ierusalem, 3389 which shall neuer 8548 x3808 hold their peace 2814 z8799 day 3117 nor night: 3915 ye that make mention 2142 z8688 of x853 the LORD, 3068 keepe not silence: 1824 x408

 62:7 And giue 5414 z8799 him no x408 rest 1824 till x5704 he establish, 3559 z8787 and till x5704 hee make 7760 z8799 x853 Ierusalem 3389 a praise 8416 in the earth. 776

 62:8 The LORD 3068 hath sworne 7650 z8738 by his Right hand, 3225 and by the arme 2220 of his strength, 5797 Surely, I will y518 no x518 more x5750 giue 5414 z8799 x853 thy corne 1715 to be meat 3978 for thine enemies, 341 z8802 and the sonnes 1121 of the stranger 5236 shall not x518 drinke 8354 z8799 thy wine, 8492 for the which x834 thou hast laboured: 3021 z8804

 62:9 But x3588 they that haue gathered 622 z8764 it shall eat 398 z8799 it, and praise 1984 z8765 x853 the LORD, 3068 and they that haue brought it together, 6908 z8764 shal drinke 8354 z8799 it in the Courts 2691 of my Holinesse. 6944

 62:11 Behold, x2009 the LORD 3068 hath proclaimed 8085 z8689 vnto x413 the end 7097 of the world, 776 say 559 z8798 ye to the daughter 1323 of Zion, 6726 Behold, x2009 thy saluation 3468 commeth; 935 z8802 behold, x2009 his reward 7939 [is] with x854 him, and his worke 6468 before 6440 him.

 62:12 And they shall call 7121 z8804 them, The holy 6944 people: 5971 the redeemed 1350 z8803 of the LORD: 3068 and thou shalt be called, 7121 z8735 Sought out, 1875 z8803 a citie 5892 not x3808 forsaken. 5800 z8737
