Isaiah 46

1 The idols of Babylon could not save themselves. 3 God saveth his people to the end. 5 Idols are not comparable to God for power, 12 or present salvation.

 46:1 ¶ Bel 1078 boweth downe, 3766 z8804 Nebo 5015 stoupeth, 7164 z8802 their idoles 6091 [were] x1961 vpon the beasts, 2416 and vpon the cattell: 929 your carriages 5385 [were] heauie loaden, 6006 z8803 they [are] a burden 4853 to the wearie 5889 [beast].

 46:2 They stoupe, 7164 z8804 they bow downe 3766 z8804 together, 3162 they could 3201 z8804 not x3808 deliuer 4422 z8763 the burden, 4853 but themselues 5315 are gone 1980 z8804 into captiuitie. 7628

 46:3 ¶ Hearken 8085 z8798 vnto x413 me, O house 1004 of Iacob, 3290 and al x3605 the remnant 7611 of the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 which are borne 6006 z8803 [by me], from x4480 the belly, 990 which are caried 5375 z8803 from x4480 the wombe. 7356

 46:4 And euen to x5704 [your] old age 2209 I x589 am he, x1931 and euen to x5704 hoare haires 7872 will I x589 cary 5445 z8799 [you]: I x589 haue made, 6213 z8804 and I x589 will beare, 5375 z8799 euen I x589 wil cary 5445 z8799 and wil deliuer 4422 z8762 [you].

 46:5 ¶ To whom x4310 wil ye liken 1819 z8762 me, and make [me] equall, 7737 z8686 and compare 4911 z8686 me, that we may be like? 1819 z8799

 46:12 ¶ Hearken 8085 z8798 vnto x413 me, ye stout hearted, 47 3820 that [are] farre x7350 from y7350 righteousnesse. 6666 x4480
