Isaiah 21

1 The prophet, bewailing the captivity of his people, seeth in a vision the fall of Babylon by the Medes and Persians. 11 Edom, scorning the prophet, is moved to repentance. 13 The set time of Arabia's calamity.

 21:1 ¶ The burden 4853 of the desert 4057 of the sea. 3220 As whirlewinds 5492 in the South 5045 passe y2498 z8800 thorough; x2498 [so] it commeth 935 z8802 from the desert, 4057 x4480 from a terrible 3372 z8737 land. 776 x4480

 21:2 A grieuous 7186 vision 2380 is declared 5046 z8717 vnto me; The treacherous dealer 898 z8802 dealeth treacherously, 898 z8802 and the spoiler 7703 z8802 spoileth: 7703 z8802 Goe, vp 5927 z8798 O Elam: 5867 besiege, 6696 z8798 O Media: 4074 all x3605 the sighing 585 thereof haue I made to cease. 7673 z8689

 21:5 Prepare 6186 z8800 the table, 7979 watch 6822 z8800 in the watch-tower, 6844 eate, 398 z8800 drinke: 8354 z8800 arise 6965 z8798 yee princes, 8269 [and] anoint 4886 z8798 the shield. 4043

 21:7 And he saw 7200 z8804 a charet 7393 [with] a couple 6776 of horsemen, 6571 a charet 7393 of asses, 2543 [and] a charet 7393 of camels; 1581 and hee hearkened 7181 z8689 diligently 7182 with much 7227 heede. 7182

 21:9 And behold, x2009 heere x2088 commeth 935 z8802 a charet 7393 of men 376 [with] a couple 6776 of horsemen: 6571 and he answered 6030 z8799 and sayd; 559 z8799 Babylon 894 is fallen, 5307 z8804 is fallen, 5307 z8804 and all x3605 the grauen images 6456 of her Gods 430 he hath broken 7665 z8765 vnto the ground. 776

 21:10 O my threshing 4098 and the corne 1121 of my floore: 1637 that which x834 I haue heard 8085 z8804 of x4480 x854 the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 haue I declared 5046 z8689 vnto you.

 21:16 For x3588 thus x3541 hath the Lord 136 sayd 559 z8804 vnto x413 me: Within x5750 a yeere, 8141 according to the yeeres 8141 of an hireling, 7916 and all x3605 the glory 3519 of Kedar 6938 shall faile. 3615 z8804

 21:17 And the residue 7605 of the number 4557 of archers, 7198 the mighty men 1368 of the children 1121 of Kedar 6938 shalbe diminished: 4591 z8799 for x3588 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel 3478 hath spoken 1696 z8765 [it].
