Isaiah 2

1 Isaiah prophesieth the coming of Christ's Kingdom. 6 Wickedness is the cause of God's forsaking. 10 He exhorteth to fear, because of the powerful effects of God's majesty.

 2:1 ¶ The word 1697 that x834 Isaiah, 3470 the sonne 1121 of Amoz, 531 sawe 2372 z8804 concerning x5921 Iudah 3063 and Ierusalem. 3389

 2:2 And it shall come to passe x1961 in the last 319 dayes, 3117 that the mountaine 2022 of the LORDS 3068 house 1004 shall be x1961 established 3559 z8737 in the top 7218 of the mountaines, 2022 and shall be exalted 5375 z8737 aboue the hilles; 1389 x4480 and all x3605 nations 1471 shall flow 5102 z8804 vnto x413 it.

 2:3 And many 7227 people 5971 shall goe 1980 z8804 & say; 559 z8804 Come y3212 z8798 x1980 yee and let vs go vp 5927 z8799 to x413 the mountaine 2022 of the LORD, 3068 to x413 the house 1004 of the God 430 of Iacob, 3290 and he will teach 3384 z8686 vs of his wayes, 1870 x4480 and we will walke y3212 z8799 x1980 in his pathes: 734 for x3588 out of Zion 6726 x4480 shall goe forth 3318 z8799 the lawe, 8451 and the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 from Ierusalem. 3389 x4480

 2:4 And hee shall iudge 8199 z8804 among x996 the nations, 1471 and shall rebuke 3198 z8689 many 7227 people: 5971 and they shall beate 3807 z8765 their swords 2719 into plow-shares, 855 and their speares 2595 into pruning hookes: 4211 nation 1471 shall not x3808 lift vp 5375 z8799 sword 2719 against x413 nation, 1471 neither x3808 shall they learne 3925 z8799 warre 4421 any more. x5750

 2:5 O house 1004 of Iacob, 3290 come y3212 z8798 x1980 yee, and let vs walke y3212 z8799 x1980 in the light 216 of the LORD. 3068

 2:6 ¶ Therefore x3588 thou hast forsaken 5203 z8804 thy people 5971 the house 1004 of Iacob; 3290 because x3588 they be replenished 4390 z8804 from the East, 6924 x4480 and [are] soothsayers 6049 z8781 like the Philistines, 6430 and they please y5606 z8686 themselues x5606 in the children 3206 of strangers. 5237

 2:7 Their land 776 also is full 4390 z8735 of siluer 3701 and gold, 2091 neither x369 [is there] any end 7097 of their treasures: 214 their land 776 is also full 4390 z8735 of horses; 5483 neither x369 [is there] any end 7097 of their charets. 4818

 2:8 Their land 776 also is full 4390 z8735 of idoles: 457 they worship 7812 z8691 the worke 4639 of their owne hands, 3027 that which x834 their owne fingers 676 haue made. 6213 z8804

 2:9 And the meane man 120 boweth downe, 7817 z8735 and the great man 376 humbleth 8213 z8799 himselfe; therefore forgiue 5375 z8799 them not. x408

 2:10 ¶ Enter 935 z8798 into the rocke, 6697 and hide 2934 z8734 thee in the dust, 6083 for 6440 x4480 feare 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glory 1926 x4480 of his Maiestie. 1347

 2:11 The loftie 1365 lookes 5869 of man 120 shalbe humbled, 8213 z8804 and the hautines 7312 of men y582 x376 shalbe bowed downe: 7817 z8804 and the LORD 3068 alone x905 shalbe exalted 7682 z8738 in that x1931 day. 3117

 2:12 For x3588 the day 3117 of the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 [shall bee] vpon x5921 euery x3605 one that is proud 1343 and loftie, 7311 z8802 and vpon x5921 euery x3605 one that is lifted vp, 5375 z8737 and he shalbe brought low; 8213 z8804

 2:13 And vpon x5921 all x3605 the Cedars 730 of Lebanon, 3844 that are high 7311 z8802 and lifted vp; 5375 z8737 and vpon x5921 all x3605 the okes 437 of Bashan, 1316

 2:14 And vpon x5921 all x3605 the high 7311 z8802 mountaines, 2022 and vpon x5921 all x3605 the hilles 1389 that are lifted vp, 5375 z8737

 2:15 And vpon x5921 euery x3605 high 1364 tower, 4026 and vpon x5921 euery x3605 fenced 1219 z8803 wall, 2346

 2:16 And vpon x5921 all x3605 the ships 591 of Tarshish, 8659 and vpon x5921 all x3605 pleasant 2532 pictures. 7914

 2:17 And the loftinesse 1365 of man 120 shall be bowed downe, 7817 z8804 and the hautinesse 7312 of men y582 x376 shalbe made low: 8213 z8804 and the LORD 3068 alone x905 shalbe exalted 7682 z8738 in that x1931 day. 3117

 2:18 And the idoles 457 hee shall vtterly 3632 abolish. 2498 z8799

 2:19 And they shall goe 935 z8804 into the holes 4631 of the rocks, 6697 and into the caues 4247 of the earth 6083 for 6440 x4480 feare 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glory 1926 x4480 of his Maiestie; 1347 when hee ariseth 6965 z8800 to shake terribly 6206 z8800 the earth. 776

 2:20 In that x1931 day 3117 a man 120 shall cast 7993 z8686 x853 his idoles 457 of siluer, 3701 and his idoles 457 of golde 2091 which x834 they made x6213 [each one] for himselfe y6213 z8804 to worship, 7812 z8692 to the moules 2661 6512 and to the battes: 5847

 2:21 To go 935 z8800 into the clefts 5366 of the rocks, 6697 and into the tops 5585 of the ragged rockes, 5553 for 6440 x4480 feare 6343 of the LORD, 3068 and for the glorie 1926 x4480 of his Maiestie; 1347 when hee ariseth 6965 z8800 to shake terribly 6206 z8800 the earth. 776
