Isaiah 45

1 God calleth Cyrus for his Church's sake. 5 By his omnipotency he challengeth obedience. 20 He convinceth the idols of vanity by his saving power.

 45:1 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 to his Anointed, 4899 to Cyrus 3566 whose x834 right hande 3225 I haue holden, 2388 z8689 to subdue 7286 z8800 nations 1471 before 6440 him: and I will loose 6605 z8762 the loines 4975 of kings 4428 to open 6605 z8800 before 6440 him the two leaued gates, 1817 and the gates 8179 shall not x3808 be shut. 5462 z8735

 45:2 I x589 will goe y3212 z8799 x1980 before 6440 thee, and make y3474 z0 the crooked places y1921 z8803 straight, 3474 z8762 z8675 z8686 x1921 I wil break in pieces 7665 z8762 the gates 1817 of brasse, 5154 and cut in sunder 1438 z8762 the barres 1280 of yron. 1270

 45:3 And I will giue 5414 z8804 thee the treasures 214 of darkenesse, 2822 & hidden riches 4301 of secret places, 4565 that x4616 thou mayest know, 3045 z8799 that x3588 I x589 the LORD 3068 which call 7121 z8802 thee by thy name, 8034 [am] the God 430 of Israel. 3478

 45:4 For Iacob 3290 my seruants y5650 sake, x4616 x5650 and Israel 3478 mine elect, 972 I haue euen called 7121 z8799 thee by thy name: 8034 I haue surnamed 3655 z8762 thee, though thou hast not x3808 knowen 3045 z8804 me.

 45:5 ¶ I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 and [there is] none x369 els, x5750 [there is] no x369 God 430 besides 2108 me: I girded 247 z8762 thee, though thou hast not x3808 knowen 3045 z8804 me:

 45:6 That x4616 they may knowe 3045 z8799 from the rising 4217 x4480 of the Sun, 8121 and from the West, 4628 x4480 that x3588 [there is] none 657 besides 1107 me, I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 and [there is] none x369 else. x5750

 45:7 I forme 3335 z8802 the light, 216 and create 1254 z8802 darkenesse: 2822 I make 6213 z8802 peace, 7965 and create 1254 z8802 euill: 7451 I x589 the LORD 3068 do 6213 z8802 all x3605 these x428 things.

 45:8 Drop downe, 7491 z8685 ye heauens, 8064 from aboue, 4605 x4480 and let the skies 7834 powre downe 5140 z8799 righteousnesse: 6664 let the earth 776 open, 6605 z8799 and let them bring forth 6509 z8799 saluation, 3468 and let righteousnesse 6666 spring vp 6779 z8686 together: 3162 I x589 the LORD 3068 haue created 1254 z8804 it.

 45:9 Woe 1945 vnto him that striueth 7378 z8801 with x854 his maker: 3335 z8802 Let the potsheard 2789 [striue] with x854 the potsheards 2789 of the earth: 127 shal the clay 2563 say 559 z8799 to him that fashioneth 3335 z8802 it, What x4100 makest 6213 z8799 thou? or thy worke, 6467 he hath no x369 hands? 3027

 45:10 Woe 1945 vnto him that saith 559 z8802 vnto [his] father, 1 What x4100 begettest 3205 z8686 thou? or to the woman, 802 What x4100 hast thou brought forth? 2342 z8799

 45:11 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 the Holy One 6918 of Israel, 3478 and his maker, 3335 z8802 Aske 7592 z8798 me of things to come 857 z8802 concerning x5921 my sonnes, 1121 and concerning x5921 the worke 6467 of my hands 3027 command 6680 z8762 ye me.

 45:12 I x595 haue made 6213 z8804 the earth, 776 and created 1254 z8804 man 120 vpon x5921 it: I, x589 [euen] my handes 3027 haue stretched out 5186 z8804 the heauens, 8064 and all x3605 their hoste 6635 haue I commanded. 6680 z8765

 45:13 I x595 haue raised him vp 5782 z8689 in righteousnesse, 6664 and I will direct 3474 z8762 all x3605 his wayes: 1870 he x1931 shall build 1129 z8799 my citie, 5892 and hee shall let goe 7971 z8762 my captiues, 1546 not x3808 for price 4242 nor x3808 reward, 7810 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 45:14 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 The labour 3018 of Egypt, 4714 and merchandise 5505 of Ethiopia, 3568 and of the Sabeans, 5436 men y582 x376 of stature 4060 shall come ouer 5674 z8799 vnto x5921 thee, and they shall be x1961 thine, they shall come y3212 z8799 x1980 after 310 thee, in chaines 2131 they shall come ouer: 5674 z8799 and they shal fall downe 7812 z8691 vnto x413 thee, they shal make supplication 6419 z8691 vnto x413 thee, [saying], Surely x389 God 410 [is] in thee, and [there is] none x369 else, x5750 [there is] no 657 god. 430

 45:15 Uerely 403 thou x859 [art] a God 410 that hidest y5641 z8693 thy selfe, x5641 O God 430 of Israel 3478 the Sauiour. 3467 z8688

 45:16 They shall be ashamed, 954 z8804 and also x1571 confounded 3637 z8738 all x3605 of them: they shall goe 1980 z8804 to confusion 3639 together 3162 that are makers 2796 of idoles. 6736

 45:17 [But] Israel 3478 shall bee saued 3467 z8738 in the LORD 3068 with an euerlasting 5769 saluation: 8668 ye shall not x3808 be ashamed 954 z8799 nor x3808 confounded 3637 z8735 world y5769 without end. 5703 x5704 x5769

 45:19 I haue not x3808 spoken 1696 z8765 in secret, 5643 in a darke 2822 place 4725 of the earth: 776 I said 559 z8804 not x3808 vnto the seed 2233 of Iacob, 3290 Seeke 1245 z8761 ye mee in vaine: 8414 I x589 the LORD 3068 speake 1696 z8802 righteousnesse, 6664 I declare 5046 z8688 things that are right. 4339

 45:20 ¶ Assemble y6908 z8734 your selues x6908 and come: 935 z8798 draw neere 5066 z8690 together 3162 ye that are escaped 6412 of the nations: 1471 they haue no knowledge 3045 z8804 x3808 that set vp 5375 z8802 x853 the wood 6086 of their grauen image, 6459 and pray 6419 z8693 vnto x413 a god 410 [that] cannot x3808 saue. 3467 z8686

 45:23 I haue sworne 7650 z8738 by my selfe: the word 1697 is gone out 3318 z8804 of my mouth 6310 x4480 [in] righteousnes, 6666 and shall not x3808 returne, 7725 z8799 that x3588 vnto me euery x3605 knee 1290 shall bowe, 3766 z8799 euery x3605 tongue 3956 shall sweare. 7650 z8735

 45:24 Surely, x389 shall one say, 559 z8804 In the LORD 3068 [haue] I righteousnesse 6666 and strength: 5797 euen to x5704 him shall men come, 935 z8799 and all x3605 that are incensed 2734 z8737 against him, shalbe ashamed. 954 z8799
