Isaiah 38

1 Hezekiah, having received a message of death, by prayer hath his life lengthened. 8 The sun goeth ten degrees backward, for a sign of that promise. 9 His song of thanksgiving.

 38:1 ¶ In those x1992 daies 3117 was Hezekiah y2396 sicke 2470 z8804 x2396 vnto death: 4191 z8800 and Isaiah 3470 the Prophet 5030 the sonne 1121 of Amoz 531 came 935 z8799 vnto x413 him, and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 him; Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Set thine house y1004 in order: 6680 z8761 x1004 for x3588 thou x859 shalt die, 4191 z8801 and not x3808 liue. 2421 z8799

 38:2 Then Hezekiah 2396 turned 5437 z8686 his face 6440 toward x413 the wall, 7023 and prayed 6419 z8691 vnto x413 the LORD, 3068

 38:3 And said, 559 z8799 Remember 2142 z8798 now, x4994 O LORD, 3068 I beseech y577 thee, x577 x853 how x834 I haue walked 1980 z8694 before 6440 thee in trueth, 571 and with a perfect 8003 heart, 3820 and haue done 6213 z8804 that which is good 2896 in thy sight: 5869 and Hezekiah 2396 wept 1058 z8799 y1065 sore. 1419 x1065

 38:4 ¶ Then came x1961 the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 to x413 Isaiah, 3470 saying, 559 z8800

 38:5 Goe 1980 z8800 and say 559 z8804 to x413 Hezekiah, 2396 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 the God 430 of Dauid 1732 thy father; 1 I haue heard 8085 z8804 x853 thy prayer, 8605 I haue seene 7200 z8804 x853 thy teares: 1832 behold, x2009 I will adde 3254 z8802 vnto x5921 thy dayes 3117 fifteene 2568 6240 yeeres. 8141

 38:6 And I will deliuer 5337 z8686 thee and this x2063 citie, 5892 out of the hand 3709 x4480 of the king 4428 of Assyria: 804 and I will defend 1598 z8804 x5921 this x2063 citie. 5892

 38:7 And this x2088 [shall be] a signe 226 vnto thee from x4480 x854 the LORD, 3068 that x834 the LORD 3068 will doe 6213 z8799 x853 this x2088 thing 1697 that x834 he hath spoken. 1696 z8765

 38:8 Behold, x2009 I will bring againe 7725 z8688 x853 the shadow 6738 of the degrees 4609 which x834 is gone downe 3381 z8804 in the Sunne-diall 8121 4609 of Ahaz 271 ten 6235 degrees 4609 backward: 322 so the Sunne 8121 returned 7725 z8799 ten 6235 degrees, 4609 by which x834 degrees 4609 it was gone downe. 3381 z8804

 38:9 ¶ The writing 4385 of Hezekiah 2396 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 when he had bene sicke, 2470 z8800 and was recouered 2421 z8799 of his sicknesse: 2483 x4480

 38:10 I x589 saide 559 z8804 in the cutting off 1824 of my dayes; 3117 I shall goe y3212 z8799 x1980 to the gates 8179 of the graue: 7585 I am depriued 6485 z8795 of the residue 3499 of my yeeres. 8141

 38:11 I said, 559 z8804 I shal not x3808 see 7200 z8799 the Lord, 3050 [euen] the Lord 3050 in the land 776 of the liuing: 2416 I shal behold 5027 z8686 man 120 no x3808 more x5750 with x5973 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of the world. 2309

 38:12 Mine age 1755 is departed, 5265 z8738 and is remoued 1540 z8738 from x4480 me as a shepheards 7473 tent: 168 I haue cut off 7088 z8765 like a weauer 707 z8802 my life: 2416 he will cut mee off 1214 z8762 with pining sicknesse: 1803 x4480 from day 3117 x4480 euen to x5704 night 3915 wilt thou make an end 7999 z8686 of me.

 38:13 I reckoned 7737 z8765 till x5704 morning, 1242 [that] as a Lyon 738 so x3651 will hee breake 7665 z8762 all x3605 my bones: 6106 from day 3117 x4480 euen to x5704 night 3915 wilt thou make an end 7999 z8686 of me.

 38:16 O Lord, 136 by x5921 these things men liue: 2421 z8799 and in all x3605 these x2004 things is the life 2416 of my spirit, 7307 so wilt thou recouer 2492 z8686 me, and make me to liue. 2421 z8685

 38:18 For x3588 the graue 7585 cannot x3808 praise 3034 z8686 thee, death 4194 cannot celebrate 1984 z8762 thee: they that goe downe 3381 z8802 into the pit 953 cannot x3808 hope 7663 z8762 for x413 thy trueth. 571

 38:19 The liuing, 2416 the liuing, 2416 hee x1931 shall praise 3034 z8686 thee, as I [doe] this day: 3117 the father 1 to the children 1121 shall make knowen 3045 z8686 x413 thy trueth. 571

 38:20 The LORD 3068 [was ready] to saue 3467 z8687 me: therefore we will sing my songs y5058 x5059 to the stringed instruments, y5059 z8762 x5058 all x3605 the dayes 3117 of our life, 2416 in x5921 the house 1004 of the LORD. 3068

 38:21 For Isaiah 3470 had said, 559 z8799 Let them take 5375 z8799 a lumpe 1690 of figges, 8384 and lay [it] for a plaister 4799 z8799 vpon x5921 the boile, 7822 and he shall recouer. 2421 z8799

 38:22 Hezekiah 2396 also had said, 559 z8799 what x4100 [is] the signe, 226 that x3588 I shall goe vp 5927 z8799 to the house 1004 of the LORD? 3068
