Isaiah 41

1 God expostulateth with his people, about his mercies to the Church, 10 about his promises, 21 and about the vanity of idols.

 41:2 Who x4310 raised vp 5782 z8689 the righteous 6664 man from the East, 4217 x4480 called 7121 z8799 him to his foote, 7272 gaue 5414 z8799 the nations 1471 before 6440 him, and made him rule 7287 z8686 ouer kings? 4428 Hee gaue 5414 z8799 [them] as the dust 6083 to his sword, 2719 [and] as driuen 5086 z8737 stuble 7179 to his bow. 7198

 41:3 He pursued 7291 z8799 them, [and] passed 5674 z8799 safely; 7965 [euen] by the way, 734 [that] hee had not x3808 gone 935 z8799 with his feete. 7272

 41:11 Behold, x2005 all x3605 they that were incensed 2734 z8737 against thee, shalbe ashamed 954 z8799 and confounded: 3637 z8735 they shall be x1961 as nothing, x369 and they y582 x376 that striue 7379 with thee, shall perish. 6 z8799

 41:12 Thou shalt seeke 1245 z8762 them, and shalt not x3808 find 4672 z8799 them, x376 [euen] them y582 that contended 4695 with thee: they x376 that warre 4421 against thee shalbe x1961 as nothing, x369 and as a thing of nought. 657

 41:13 For x3588 I x589 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 will hold 2388 z8688 thy right hand, 3225 saying 559 z8802 vnto thee, Feare 3372 z8799 not, x408 I x589 will helpe 5826 z8804 thee.

 41:14 Feare 3372 z8799 not, x408 thou worme 8438 Iacob, 3290 [and] ye men 4962 of Israel: 3478 I x589 will helpe 5826 z8804 thee, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 and thy Redeemer, 1350 z8802 the Holy One 6918 of Israel. 3478

 41:15 Behold, x2009 I will make 7760 z8804 thee a new 2319 sharpe 2742 threshing y4173 instrument x4173 hauing 1167 teeth: 6374 thou shalt thresh 1758 z8799 the mountaines, 2022 and beate [them] small, 1854 z8799 and shalt make 7760 z8799 the hilles 1389 as chaffe. 4671

 41:16 Thou shalt fanne 2219 z8799 them, and the winde 7307 shall carie them away, 5375 z8799 and the whirlewinde 5591 shall scatter 6327 z8686 them: and thou x859 shalt reioyce 1523 z8799 in the LORD, 3068 [and] shalt glory 1984 z8691 in the Holy One 6918 of Israel. 3478

 41:17 [When] the poore 6041 and needie 34 seeke 1245 z8764 water 4325 and [there is] none, x369 [and] their tongue 3956 faileth 5405 z8804 for thirst, 6772 I x589 the LORD 3068 will heare 6030 z8799 them, [I] the God 430 of Israel 3478 will not x3808 forsake 5800 z8799 them.

 41:18 I will open 6605 z8799 riuers 5104 in x5921 hie places, 8205 and fountaines 4599 in the midst 8432 of the valleys: 1237 I will make 7760 z8799 the wildernesse 4057 a poole 98 of water, 4325 and the dry 6723 land 776 springs 4161 of water. 4325

 41:19 I will plant 5414 z8799 in the wildernes 4057 the Cedar, 730 the Shittah tree, 7848 and the Myrtle, 1918 and the Oyle 8081 tree: 6086 I will set 7760 z8799 in the desert 6160 the Firre tree, 1265 [and] the Pine 8410 and the Boxe tree 8391 together: 3162

 41:20 That x4616 they may see, 7200 z8799 and knowe, 3045 z8799 and consider, 7760 z8799 and vnderstand 7919 z8686 together, 3162 that x3588 the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 hath done 6213 z8804 this, x2063 and the Holy One 6918 of Israel 3478 hath created 1254 z8804 it.

 41:21 Produce 7126 z8761 your cause, 7379 saith 559 z8799 the LORD, 3068 bring foorth 5066 z8685 your strong 6110 [reasons], saith 559 z8799 the King 4428 of Iacob. 3290

 41:22 Let them bring [them] foorth, 5066 z8686 and shew 5046 z8686 vs x853 what x834 shall happen: 7136 z8799 let them shew 5046 z8685 the former things 7223 what x4100 they x2007 bee, that we may consider 7760 3820 z8799 them, and know 3045 z8799 the latter end 319 of them, or x176 declare 8085 z8685 vs things for to come. 935 z8802

 41:23 Shewe 5046 z8685 the things that are to come 857 z8802 hereafter, 268 that wee may knowe 3045 z8799 that x3588 ye x859 are gods: 430 yea x637 doe good 3190 z8686 or doe euill, 7489 z8686 that we may be dismayed, 8159 z8691 and behold 7200 z8799 [it] together. 3162

 41:24 Behold, x2005 ye x859 are of nothing, 369 x4480 and your worke 6467 of nought: 659 x4480 an abomination 8441 [is he that] chooseth 977 z8799 you.

 41:25 I haue raised vp 5782 z8689 [one] from the North, 6828 x4480 and he shall come: 857 z8799 from the rising 4217 x4480 of the Sunne 8121 shall he call 7121 z8799 vpon my name, 8034 and he shall come 935 z8799 [vpon] princes 5461 as x3644 vpon morter, 2563 and as x3644 the potter 3335 z8802 treadeth 7429 z8799 clay. 2916

 41:27 The first 7223 [shall say] to Zion, 6726 Behold, 2009 behold 2009 them, and I will giue 5414 z8799 to Ierusalem 3389 one that bringeth good tidings. 1319 z8764

 41:28 For I behelde, 7200 z8799 and [there was] no x369 man, 376 euen amongst them, x4480 x428 and [there was] no x369 counseller, 3289 z8802 that when I asked 7592 z8799 of them, could answere 7725 z8686 a word. 1697
