1 God mustereth the armies of his wrath. 6 He threateneth to destroy Babylon by the Medes. 19 The desolation of Babylon.

 13:3 I x589 haue commanded 6680 z8765 my sanctified ones: 6942 z8794 I haue also x1571 called 7121 z8804 my mightie ones 1368 for mine anger, 639 [euen] them that reioyce 5947 in my highnesse. 1346

 13:4 The noise 6963 of a multitude 1995 in the mountaines, 2022 like x1823 as y1823 of a great 7227 people: 5971 a tumultuous 7588 noise 6963 of the kingdomes 4467 of nations 1471 gathered together: 622 z8737 the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 mustereth 6485 z8764 the hoste 6635 of the battell. 4421

 13:5 They come 935 z8802 from a farre y4801 countrey 776 x4480 x4801 from the end 7097 x4480 of heauen, 8064 [euen] the LORD 3068 and the weapons 3627 of his indignation, 2195 to destroy 2254 z8763 the whole x3605 land. 776

 13:6 ¶ Howle 3213 z8685 yee; for x3588 the day 3117 of the LORD 3068 [is] at hand; 7138 it shall come 935 z8799 as a destruction 7701 from the Almighty. 7706 x4480

 13:7 Therefore x5921 x3651 shall all x3605 hands 3027 bee faint, 7503 z8799 and euery x3605 mans 582 heart 3824 shall melt. 4549 z8735

 13:13 Therefore x5921 x3651 I will shake 7264 z8686 the heauens, 8064 and the earth 776 shall remoue 7493 z8799 out of her place 4725 x4480 in the wrath 5678 of the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 and in the day 3117 of his fierce 2740 anger. 639

 13:14 And it shalbe x1961 as the chased 5080 z8716 Roe, 6643 and as a sheepe 6629 that no x369 man taketh vp: 6908 z8764 they shall euery man 376 turne 6437 z8799 to x413 his owne people, 5971 and flee 5127 z8799 euery one 376 into x413 his owne land. 776

 13:15 Euery one x3605 that is found 4672 z8737 shall be thrust through: 1856 z8735 and euery one x3605 that is ioyned 5595 z8737 [vnto them], shall fall 5307 z8799 by the sword. 2719

 13:17 Beholde, x2009 I will stirre vp 5782 z8688 x853 the Medes 4074 against x5921 them, which x834 shall not x3808 regard 2803 z8799 siluer, 3701 and as for gold, 2091 they shall not x3808 delight 2654 z8799 in it.

 13:18 [Their] bowes 7198 also shall dash 7376 z0 the yong men 5288 to pieces, y7376 z8762 and they shall haue no x3808 pitie 7355 z8762 on the fruit 6529 of the wombe; 990 their eye 5869 shall not x3808 spare 2347 z8799 x5921 children. 1121

 13:19 ¶ And Babylon 894 the glory 6643 of kingdomes, 4467 the beautie 8597 of the Chaldees 3778 excellencie, 1347 shall be x1961 as when God 430 ouerthrew 4114 x853 Sodom 5467 and Gomorrah. 6017

 13:20 It shall neuer 5331 x3808 be inhabited, 3427 z8799 neither x3808 shall it be dwelt 7931 z8799 in from generation 1755 to x5704 generation: 1755 neither x3808 shall the Arabian 6163 pitch tent 167 z8762 there, x8033 neither x3808 shal the shepheards 7462 z8802 make their fold 7257 z8686 there. x8033

 13:21 But wilde beastes of the desert 6728 shall lye 7257 z8804 there, x8033 and their houses 1004 shalbe full 4390 z8804 of dolefull creatures, 255 and owles 1323 3284 shall dwell 7931 z8804 there, x8033 and Satyres 8163 shall daunce 7540 z8762 there. x8033

 13:22 And the wilde beastes of the Ilands 338 shal cry 6030 z8804 in their desolate houses, 490 and dragons 8577 in their pleasant 6027 palaces: 1964 and her time 6256 is neere 7138 to come, 935 z8800 and her dayes 3117 shall not x3808 be prolonged. 4900 z8735
