Isaiah 11

1 The peaceable Kingdom of the Branch out of the root of Jesse. 10 The victorious restoration of Israel, and vocation of the Gentiles.

 11:1 ¶ And there shall come forth 3318 z8804 a rod 2415 out of the stemme 1503 x4480 of Iesse, 3448 and a branch 5342 shal grow 6509 z8799 out of his rootes. 8328 x4480

 11:2 And the Spirit 7307 of the LORD 3068 shall rest 5117 z8804 vpon x5921 him, the spirit 7307 of wisedome 2451 and vnderstanding, 998 the spirit 7307 of counsell 6098 and might, 1369 the spirit 7307 of knowledge, 1847 and of the feare 3374 of the LORD: 3068

 11:3 And shal make him of quicke vnderstanding 7306 z8687 in the feare 3374 of the LORD, 3068 and he shall not x3808 iudge 8199 z8799 after the sight 4758 of his eyes, 5869 neither x3808 reproue 3198 z8686 after the hearing 4926 of his eares. 241

 11:4 But with righteousnesse 6664 shall he iudge 8199 z8804 the poore, 1800 and reprooue 3198 z8689 with equitie, 4334 for the meeke 6035 of the earth: 776 and he shall smite 5221 z8689 the earth 776 with the rodde 7626 of his mouth, 6310 and with the breath 7307 of his lips 8193 shall he slay 4191 z8686 the wicked. 7563

 11:5 And righteousnesse 6664 shalbe x1961 the girdle 232 of his loines, 4975 and faithfulnesse 530 the girdle 232 of his reines. 2504

 11:6 The wolfe 2061 also shall dwell 1481 z8804 with x5973 the lambe, 3532 and the leopard 5246 shall lie downe 7257 z8799 with x5973 the kid: 1423 and the calfe 5695 and the yong lion, 3715 and the fatling 4806 together, 3162 and a litle 6996 child 5288 shall lead 5090 z8802 them.

 11:7 And the cow 6510 and the beare 1677 shall feed, 7462 z8799 their yong ones 3206 shall lie downe 7257 z8799 together: 3162 and the lyon 738 shall eate 398 z8799 straw 8401 like the oxe. 1241

 11:8 And the sucking x3243 childe y3243 z8802 shall play 8173 z8773 on x5921 the hole 2352 of the aspe, 6620 and the weaned childe 1580 z8803 shall put 1911 z8804 his hand 3027 on x5921 the cockatrice 6848 denne. 3975

 11:9 They shall not x3808 hurt 7489 z8686 nor x3808 destroy 7843 z8686 in all x3605 my holy 6944 mountaine: 2022 for x3588 the earth 776 shall bee full 4390 z8804 of the knowledge 1844 of x853 the LORD, 3068 as the waters 4325 couer 3680 z8764 the sea. 3220

 11:10 ¶ And in that x1931 day 3117 there shall bee x1961 a roote 8328 of Iesse, 3448 which x834 shall stand 5975 z8802 for an ensigne 5251 of the people; 5971 to x413 it shall the Gentiles 1471 seeke, 1875 z8799 and his rest 4496 shall bee x1961 glorious. 3519

 11:11 And it shall come to passe x1961 in that x1931 day, 3117 [that] the Lord 136 shall set y3254 z0 his hande 3027 againe 3254 z8686 the second time, 8145 to recouer 7069 z8800 x853 the remnant 7605 of his people 5971 which x834 shalbe left, 7604 z8735 from Assyria, 804 x4480 and from Egypt, 4714 x4480 & from Pathros, 6624 x4480 and from Cush, 3568 x4480 and from Elam, 5867 x4480 and from Shinar, 8152 x4480 and from Hamath, 2574 x4480 and from the ylands 339 x4480 of the Sea. 3220

 11:12 And he shall set vp 5375 z8804 an ensigne 5251 for the nations, 1471 and shall assemble 622 z8804 the outcasts y1760 z8737 x5080 of Israel, 3478 and gather together 6908 z8762 the dispersed 5310 z8803 of Iudah, 3063 from the foure 702 x4480 corners 3671 of the earth. 776

 11:13 The enuie 7068 also of Ephraim 669 shal depart, 5493 z8804 and the aduersaries 6887 z8802 of Iudah 3063 shalbe cut off: 3772 z8735 Ephraim 669 shall not x3808 enuie 7065 z8762 x853 Iudah, 3063 and Iudah 3063 shall not x3808 vexe 6887 z8799 x853 Ephraim. 669

 11:14 But they shall fly 5774 z8804 vpon the shoulders 3802 of the Philistines 6430 toward the West, 3220 they shall spoile 962 z8799 x853 them 1121 of the East 6924 together: 3162 they shall lay 4916 their hand 3027 vpon Edom 123 and Moab, 4124 and the children 1121 of Ammon 5983 shall obey 4928 them.

 11:15 And the LORD 3068 shall vtterly destroy 2763 z8689 x853 the tongue 3956 of the Egyptian 4714 sea, 3220 and with his mighty 5868 wind 7307 shall hee shake 5130 z8689 his hand 3027 ouer x5921 the riuer, 5104 and shall smite 5221 z8689 it in the seuen 7651 streames, 5158 and make [men] goe ouer 1869 z8689 dry-shod. 5275

 11:16 And there shalbe x1961 an high way 4546 for the remnant 7605 of his people, 5971 which 834 shalbe left 7604 z8735 from Assyria; 804 x4480 like as x834 it was x1961 to Israel 3478 in the day 3117 that hee came vp 5927 z8800 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt. 4714
