Isaiah 50

1 Christ sheweth that the dereliction of the Jews is not to be imputed to him, by his ability to save, 5 by his obedience in that work, 7 and by his confidence in that assistance. 10 An exhortation to trust in God, and not in ourselves.

 50:1 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Where x335 is the bill 5612 of your mothers 517 diuorcement, 3748 whom x834 I haue put away? 7971 z8765 or x176 which x4310 of my creditours 5383 z8802 x4480 [is it] to whom x834 I haue sold 4376 z8804 you? Behold, x2005 for your iniquities 5771 haue you solde y4376 z8738 your selues, x4376 and for your transgressions 6588 is your mother 517 put away. 7971 z8795

 50:4 The Lord 136 GOD 3069 hath giuen 5414 z8804 me the tongue 3956 of the learned, 3928 that I should know 3045 z8800 how to speake y5790 z8800 a worde y1697 in season x5790 x1697 to x853 him that [is] wearie: 3287 hee wakeneth 5782 z8686 morning 1242 by morning, 1242 hee wakeneth 5782 z8686 mine eare 241 to heare 8085 z8800 as the learned. 3928

 50:5 ¶ The Lord 136 GOD 3069 hath opened 6605 z8804 mine eare, 241 and I x595 was not x3808 rebellious, 4784 z8804 neither x3808 turned away 5472 z8738 backe. 268

 50:6 I gaue 5414 z8804 my backe 1460 to the smiters, 5221 z8688 and my cheeks 3895 to them that plucked off y4803 z8802 the haire: x4803 I hidde 5641 z8689 not x3808 my face 6440 from shame 3639 x4480 and spitting. 7536

 50:7 ¶ For the Lord 136 GOD 3069 will helpe 5826 z8799 me, therefore x5921 x3651 shall I not x3808 be confounded: 3637 z8738 therefore x5921 x3651 haue I set 7760 z8804 my face 6440 like a flint, 2496 and I know 3045 z8799 that x3588 I shall not x3808 bee ashamed. 954 z8799

 50:8 He [is] neere 7138 that iustifieth 6663 z8688 me, who x4310 will contend 7378 z8799 with x854 me? let vs stand 5975 z8799 together: 3162 who x4310 is mine aduersarie? 1167 4941 let him come neere 5066 z8799 to x413 me.

 50:9 Behold, x2005 the Lord 136 GOD 3069 wil helpe 5826 z8799 me, who x4310 [is] he x1931 [that] shall condemne 7561 z8686 mee? Loe, x2005 they all x3605 shall waxe olde 1086 z8799 as a garment: 899 the moth 6211 shall eate them vp. 398 z8799

 50:10 ¶ Who x4310 [is] among you that feareth 3373 the LORD, 3068 that obeyeth 8085 z8802 the voyce 6963 of his seruant, 5650 that x834 walketh 1980 z8804 [in] darkenesse 2825 and hath no x369 light? 5051 let him trust 982 z8799 in the Name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 and stay 8172 z8735 vpon his God. 430

 50:11 Behold, x2005 all x3605 ye that kindle 6919 z8802 a fire, 784 that compasse [your selues] about 247 z8764 with sparks: 2131 walke y3212 z8798 x1980 in the light 217 of your fire, 784 and in the sparkes 2131 [that] ye haue kindled. 1197 z8765 This x2063 shall ye haue x1961 of mine hand, 3027 x4480 yee shall lie downe 7901 z8799 in sorrow. 4620
