Isaiah 19

1 The confusion of Egypt. 11 The foolishness of their princes. 18 The calling of Egypt to the Church. 23 The covenant of Egypt, Assyria, and Israel.

 19:1 ¶ The burden 4853 of Egypt: 4714 Behold, x2009 the LORD 3068 rideth 7392 z8802 vpon x5921 a swift 7031 cloude, 5645 and shall come 935 z8804 into Egypt, 4714 and the idoles 457 of Egypt 4714 shalbe moued 5128 z8804 at his presence, 6440 x4480 and the heart 3824 of Egypt 4714 shall melt 4549 z8735 in the midst 7130 of it.

 19:2 And I will set 5526 z8773 the Egyptians 4714 against the Egyptians: 4714 and they shall fight 3898 z8738 euery one 376 against his brother, 251 and euery one 376 against his neighbour; 7453 citie 5892 against citie, 5892 [and] kingdome 4467 against kingdome. 4467

 19:3 And the spirit 7307 of Egypt 4714 shall faile 1238 z8738 in the midst 7130 thereof, and I will destroy 1104 z8762 the counsell 6098 thereof: and they shall seeke 1875 z8804 to x413 the idoles, 457 and to x413 the charmers, 328 and to x413 them that haue familiar spirits, 178 and to x413 the wizards. 3049

 19:4 And 853 the Egyptians 4714 will I giue ouer 5534 z8765 into the hand 3027 of a cruell 7186 Lord; 113 and a fierce 5794 king 4428 shall rule 4910 z8799 ouer them, saith 5002 z8803 the Lorde, 113 the LORD 3068 of hostes. 6635

 19:5 And the waters 4325 shall faile 5405 z8738 from the sea, 3220 x4480 and the riuer 5104 shalbe wasted, 2717 z8799 and dried vp. 3001 z8804

 19:6 And they shall turne y2186 z0 the riuers y5104 farre away, 2186 z8689 x5104 and the brookes 2975 of defence y4693 x4692 shall be emptied 1809 z8804 and dried vp: 2717 z8804 the reeds 7070 and flagges 5488 shall wither. 7060 z8804

 19:7 The paper reeds 6169 by x5921 the brookes, 2975 by x5921 the mouth 6310 of the brookes, 2975 and euery thing x3605 sowen 4218 by the brooks 2975 shal wither, 3001 z8799 be driuen away, 5086 z8738 and be no x369 [more].

 19:8 The fishers 1771 also shall mourne, 578 z8804 and all x3605 they that cast 7993 z8688 angle 2443 into the brookes 2975 shall lament, 56 z8804 and they that spread 6566 z8802 nets 4365 vpon 6440 x5921 the waters 4325 shall languish. 535 z8797

 19:9 Moreouer they that worke 5647 z8802 in fine 8305 flaxe, 6593 and they that weaue 707 z8802 net-works 2355 shall be confounded. 954 z8804

 19:10 And they shall be x1961 broken 1792 z8794 in the purposes 8356 thereof, all x3605 that make 6213 z8802 sluces 7938 and ponds y99 x98 for fish. 5315

 19:11 ¶ Surely x389 the princes 8269 of Zoan 6814 [are] fooles, 191 the counsell 6098 of the wise 2450 counsellers 3289 z8802 of Pharaoh 6547 is become brutish: 1197 z8737 How x349 say 559 z8799 ye vnto x413 Pharaoh, 6547 I x589 [am] the sonne 1121 of the wise, 2450 the sonne 1121 of ancient 6924 kings? 4428

 19:12 Where 335 [are] they? Where 645 [are] thy wise 2450 men? and let them tell 5046 z8686 thee now, x4994 and let them know, 3045 z8799 what x4100 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 hath purposed 3289 z8804 vpon x5921 Egypt. 4714

 19:13 The princes 8269 of Zoan 6814 are become fooles, 2973 z8738 the princes 8269 of Noph 5297 are deceiued, 5377 z8738 they haue also seduced 8582 z8689 x853 Egypt, 4714 [euen] they that are the stay 6438 of the tribes 7626 thereof.

 19:14 The LORD 3068 hath mingled 4537 z8804 a peruerse 5773 spirit 7307 in the midst 7130 thereof: and they haue caused x853 Egypt 4714 to erre 8582 z8689 in euery x3605 worke 4639 thereof, as a drunken 7910 man staggereth 8582 z8736 in his vomit. 6892

 19:15 Neither x3808 shall there be x1961 any worke 4639 for Egypt, 4714 which x834 the head 7218 or taile, 2180 branch 3712 or rush 100 may doe. 6213 z8799

 19:16 In that x1931 day 3117 shall Egypt 4714 bee x1961 like vnto women: 802 and it shall be afraid 2729 z8804 and feare, 6342 z8804 because 6440 x4480 of the shaking 8573 of the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 which x834 he x1931 shaketh 5130 z8688 ouer x5921 it.

 19:17 And the land 127 of Iudah 3063 shall bee x1961 a terrour 2283 vnto Egypt, 4714 euery one x3605 that x834 maketh mention 2142 z8686 thereof, shal be afraid 6342 z8799 in x413 himselfe, because 6440 x4480 of the counsell 6098 of the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 which x834 he x1931 hath determined 3289 z8802 against x5921 it.

 19:18 ¶ In that x1931 day 3117 shall x1961 fiue 2568 cities 5892 in the land 776 of Egypt 4714 speake 1696 z8764 the language 8193 of Canaan, 3667 and sweare 7650 z8737 to the LORD 3068 of hostes: 6635 one 259 shalbe called 559 z8735 the citie 5892 of destruction. 2041

 19:19 In that x1931 day 3117 shall there be x1961 an Altar 4196 to the LORD 3068 in the midst 8432 of the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 and a pillar 4676 at 681 the border 1366 thereof to the LORD. 3068

 19:20 And it shall be x1961 for a signe, 226 and for a witnesse 5707 vnto the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 in the land 776 of Egypt: 4714 for x3588 they shall crie 6817 z8799 vnto x413 the LORD, 3068 because 6440 x4480 of the oppressours, 3905 z8801 and he shal send 7971 z8799 them a Sauiour 3467 z8688 and a great One, 7227 and he shall deliuer 5337 z8689 them.

 19:21 And the LORD 3068 shalbe knowen 3045 z8738 to Egypt, 4714 and the Egyptians 4714 shal know 3045 z8804 x853 the LORD 3068 in that x1931 day, 3117 and shal do 5647 z8804 sacrifice 2077 and oblation, 4503 yea they shall vow 5087 z8804 a vowe 5088 vnto the LORD, 3068 and performe 7999 z8765 [it].

 19:22 And the LORD 3068 shall smite 5062 z8804 x853 Egypt, 4714 he shall smite 5062 z8800 and heale 7495 z8800 [it], and they shall returne 7725 z8804 euen to x5704 the LORD, 3068 and he shalbe intreated 6279 z8738 of them, and shall heale 7495 z8804 them.

 19:23 ¶ In that x1931 day 3117 shall there be x1961 a hie way 4546 out of Egypt 4714 x4480 to Assyria, 804 and the Assyrian 804 shall come 935 z8804 into Egypt, 4714 and the Egyptian 4714 into Assyria, 804 and the Egyptians 4714 shall serue 5647 z8804 with x854 the Assyrians. 804

 19:24 In that x1931 day 3117 shall Israel 3478 bee x1961 the third 7992 with Egypt, 4714 and with Assyria, 804 [euen] a blessing 1293 in the midst 7130 of the land: 776

 19:25 Whom x834 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635 shal blesse, 1288 z8765 saying, 559 z8800 Blessed 1288 z8803 [be] Egypt 4714 my people, 5971 and Assyria 804 the work 4639 of my hands, 3027 and Israel 3478 mine inheritance. 5159
