Ieremiah 34

1 Jeremiah prophesieth the captivity of Zedekiah and the city. 8 The princes and the people having dismissed their bondservants, contrary to the Covenant of God, reassume them. 12 Jeremiah, for their disobedience, giveth them and Zedekiah into the hands of their enemies.

 34:1 ¶ The word 1697 which x834 came x1961 vnto x413 Ieremiah 3414 fro x4480 x854 the LORD 3068 (when Nebuchad-nezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 and all x3605 his armie, 2428 and all x3605 the kingdomes 4467 of the earth 776 of his dominion, 3027 4475 x4480 and all x3605 the people 5971 fought 3898 z8737 against x5921 Ierusalem 3389 and against x5921 all x3605 the cities 5892 thereof) saying, 559 z8800

 34:2 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 Go, 1980 z8800 and speake 559 z8804 to x413 Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 and tell 559 z8804 x413 him, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Behold, x2009 I will giue 5414 z8802 x853 this x2063 citie 5892 into the hand 3027 of the king 4428 of Babylon, 894 and he shal burne 8313 z8804 it with fire. 784

 34:3 And thou x859 shalt not x3808 escape x4422 out y4422 z8735 of his hand, 3027 x4480 but x3588 shalt surely y8610 z8800 be taken, 8610 z8735 and deliuered 5414 z8735 into his hand, 3027 and thine eyes 5869 shall behold 7200 z8799 x853 the eyes 5869 of the king 4428 of Babylon, 894 and he shall speake 1696 z8762 with x854 thee mouth 6310 to mouth, 6310 and thou shalt goe 935 z8799 to Babylon. 894

 34:4 Yet x389 heare 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the LORD, 3068 O Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Iudah: 3063 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of x5921 thee, Thou shalt not x3808 die 4191 z8799 by the sword: 2719

 34:5 [But] thou shalt die 4191 z8799 in peace, 7965 and with the burnings 4955 of thy fathers 1 the former 7223 kings 4428 which x834 were x1961 before 6440 thee, so x3651 shall they burne 8313 z8799 [odours] for thee, and they will lament 5594 z8799 thee, [saying], Ah 1945 Lord; 113 for x3588 I x589 haue pronounced 1696 z8765 the word, 1697 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 34:6 Then Ieremiah 3414 the Prophet 5030 spake 1696 z8762 x853 all x3605 these x428 words 1697 vnto x413 Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Iudah 3063 in Ierusalem; 3389

 34:7 When the king 4428 of Babylons 894 armie 2428 fought 3898 z8737 against x5921 Ierusalem, 3389 and against x5921 all x3605 the cities 5892 of Iudah 3063 that were left, 3498 z8737 against x413 Lachish, 3923 and against x413 Azekah: 5825 for x3588 these x2007 defenced 4013 cities 5892 remained 7604 z8738 of the cities 5892 of Iudah. 3063

 34:8 ¶ This [is] the word 1697 that x834 came x1961 vnto x413 Ieremiah 3414 from x4480 x854 the LORD, 3068 after y310 that x310 the king 4428 Zedekiah 6667 had made 3772 z8800 a couenant 1285 with x854 all x3605 the people 5971 which x834 [were] at Ierusalem 3389 to proclaime 7121 z8800 liberty 1865 vnto them,

 34:9 That euery man 376 should let x853 his man seruant, 5650 and euery man 376 x853 his maide seruant, 8198 being an Hebrewe, 5680 or an Hebrewesse, 5680 goe 7971 z8763 free, 2670 that none x1115 x376 should serue 5647 z8800 himselfe of them, [to wit], of a Iew 3064 his brother. 251

 34:10 Now when all x3605 the princes 8269 and all x3605 the people 5971 which x834 had entred 935 z8804 into the couenant, 1285 heard 8085 z8799 that euery one 376 should let x853 his man seruant, 5650 and euery one 376 x853 his maid seruant 8198 goe 7971 z8763 free, 2670 that none x1115 should serue 5647 z8800 themselues of them any more, x5750 then they obeyed 8085 z8799 and let [them] goe. 7971 z8762

 34:11 But afterwards 310 x3651 they turned, 7725 z8799 and caused x853 the seruants 5650 and the handmaids 8198 whom x834 they had let goe 7971 z8765 free, 2670 to returne, 7725 z8686 and brought them into subiection 3533 z8799 z8675 z8686 for seruants 5650 and for handmaids. 8198

 34:12 ¶ Therefore the worde 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 to x413 Ieremiah, 3414 from x4480 x854 the LORD, 3068 saying, 559 z8800

 34:13 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 I x595 made 3772 z8804 a couenant 1285 with x854 your fathers 1 in the day 3117 that I brought them forth 3318 z8687 x853 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 out of the house 1004 x4480 of bondmen, 5650 saying, 559 z8800

 34:14 At the end 7093 x4480 of seuen 7651 yeeres, 8141 let ye go 7971 z8762 euery man 376 x853 his brother 251 an Hebrew 5680 which x834 hath bene sold 4376 z8735 vnto thee: and when he hath serued 5647 z8804 thee sixe 8337 yeeres, 8141 thou shalt let him goe 7971 z8765 free 2670 from x4480 x5973 thee, but your fathers 1 hearkened 8085 z8804 not x3808 vnto x413 me, neither x3808 inclined 5186 z8689 x853 their eare. 241

 34:15 And ye x859 were now 3117 turned, 7725 z8799 and had done 6213 z8799 x853 right 3477 in my sight, 5869 in proclaiming 7121 z8800 libertie 1865 euery man 376 to his neighbour, 7453 and ye had made 3772 z8799 a couenant 1285 before 6440 me in the house, 1004 which x834 is called 7121 z8738 by x5921 my Name. 8034

 34:16 But yee turned 7725 z8799 and polluted 2490 z8762 x853 my Name, 8034 and caused euery man 376 x853 his seruant, 5650 and euery man 376 x853 his handmaide, 8198 whome x834 yee had set 7971 z8765 at libertie 2670 at their pleasure, 5315 to returne; 7725 z8686 and brought them into subiection, 3533 z8799 x853 to bee x1961 vnto you for seruants 5650 and for handmaids. 8198

 34:17 Therfore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Ye x859 haue not x3808 hearkened 8085 z8804 vnto x413 me, in proclaiming 7121 z8800 libertie 1865 euery one 376 to his brother, 251 and euery man 376 to his neighbour: 7453 behold, x2009 I proclaime 7121 z8802 a libertie 1865 for you, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 to x413 the sword, 2719 to x413 the pestilence, 1698 and to x413 the famine, 7458 and I wil make 5414 z8804 you to be remoued 2189 z8675 y2113 into all x3605 the kingdomes 4467 of the earth. 776

 34:18 And I wil giue 5414 z8804 x853 the men y582 x376 that haue transgressed 5674 z8802 x853 my couenant, 1285 which x834 haue not x3808 performed 6965 z8689 x853 the wordes 1697 of the couenant 1285 which x834 they had made 3772 z8804 before 6440 mee, when x834 they cut 3772 z8804 the calfe 5695 in twaine, 8147 and passed 5674 z8799 betweene x996 the parts 1335 thereof,

 34:19 The princes 8269 of Iudah 3063 and the princes 8269 of Ierusalem, 3389 the eunuches, 5631 and the priests, 3548 and all x3605 the people 5971 of the land 776 which passed 5674 z8802 betweene x996 the parts 1335 of the calfe, 5695

 34:20 I will euen giue 5414 z8804 them into the hande 3027 of their enemies, 341 z8802 and into the hand 3027 of them that seeke 1245 z8764 their life, 5315 and their dead bodies 5038 shall bee x1961 for meate 3978 vnto the foules 5775 of the heauen, 8064 and to the beasts 929 of the earth. 776

 34:21 And Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 and his Princes 8269 will I giue 5414 z8799 into the hand 3027 of their enemies, 341 z8802 and into the hand 3027 of them that seeke 1245 z8764 their life 5315 and into the hand 3027 of the king 4428 of Babylons 894 armie, 2428 which are gone vp 5927 z8802 from x4480 x5921 you.

 34:22 Behold, x2009 I will command, 6680 z8764 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 and cause them to returne 7725 z8689 to x413 this x2063 citie, 5892 and they shall fight 3898 z8738 against x5921 it, and take 3920 z8804 it, and burne 8313 z8804 it with fire, 784 and I will make 5414 z8799 the cities 5892 of Iudah 3063 a desolation 8077 without x4480 x369 an inhabitant. 3427 z8802
