Ieremiah 11

1 Jeremiah proclaimeth God's Covenant, 8 rebuketh the Jews disobeying thereof, 11 prophesieth evils to come upon them, 18 and upon the men of Anathoth, for conspiring to kill Jeremiah.

 11:1 ¶ The word 1697 that x834 came x1961 to x413 Ieremiah 3414 from x4480 x854 the LORD, 3068 saying, 559 z8800

 11:2 Heare 8085 z8798 yee x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 Couenant, 1285 and speake 1696 z8765 vnto x413 the men 376 of Iudah, 3063 and to x5921 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem. 3389

 11:3 And say 559 z8804 thou vnto x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel, 3478 Cursed 779 z8803 [bee] the man 376 that x834 obeyeth 8085 z8799 not x3808 x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 Couenant, 1285

 11:4 Which x834 I commaunded 6680 z8765 x853 your fathers 1 in the day 3117 [that] I brought them foorth 3318 z8687 x853 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 from the yron 1270 furnace, 3564 x4480 saying, 559 z8800 Obey 8085 z8798 my voyce, 6963 and doe 6213 z8804 them, according to all x3605 which x834 I command 6680 z8762 you: so shall yee be x1961 my people, 5971 and I x595 will be x1961 your God. 430

 11:5 That x4616 I may performe 6965 z8687 x853 the othe 7621 which x834 I haue sworne 7650 z8738 vnto your fathers, 1 to giue 5414 z8800 them a land 776 flowing 2100 z8802 with milke 2461 and honie, 1706 as [it is] this x2088 day: 3117 then answered 6030 z8799 I, and said, 559 z8799 So bee it, 543 O LORD. 3068

 11:6 Then the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Proclaime 7121 z8798 x853 all x3605 these x428 wordes 1697 in the cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 and in the streets 2351 of Ierusalem, 3389 saying, 559 z8800 Heare 8085 z8798 ye x853 the words 1697 of this x2063 Couenant, 1285 and doe 6213 z8804 them.

 11:7 For x3588 I earnestly y5749 z8687 protested 5749 z8689 vnto your fathers, 1 in the day 3117 [that] I brought them vp 5927 z8687 x853 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 euen vnto x5704 this x2088 day, 3117 rising earely 7925 z8687 and protesting, 5749 z8687 saying, 559 z8800 Obey 8085 z8798 my voice. 6963

 11:8 Yet they obeyed 8085 z8804 not, x3808 nor x3808 inclined 5186 z8689 x853 their eare: 241 but walked y3212 z8799 x1980 euery one 376 in the imagination 8307 of their euill 7451 heart: 3820 therefore I will bring 935 z8686 vpon x5921 them x853 all x3605 the words 1697 of this x2063 Couenant, 1285 which x834 I commaunded 6680 z8765 [them] to doe; 6213 z8800 but they did 6213 z8804 [them] not. x3808

 11:9 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, A conspiracie 7195 is found 4672 z8738 among the men 376 of Iudah, 3063 and among the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem. 3389

 11:10 They are turned backe 7725 z8804 to x5921 the iniquities 5771 of their forefathers, 7223 1 which x834 refused 3985 z8765 to heare 8085 z8800 x853 my wordes: 1697 and they x1992 went 1980 z8804 after 310 other 312 gods 430 to serue 5647 z8800 them: the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 and the house 1004 of Iudah 3063 haue broken 6565 z8689 x853 my Couenant, 1285 which x834 I made 3772 z8804 with x854 their fathers. 1

 11:11 ¶ Therefore x3651 thus x3541 sayeth 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Behold, x2009 I will bring 935 z8688 euill 7451 vpon x413 them which x834 they shall not x3808 be able 3201 z8799 to escape; 3318 z8800 x4480 and though they shall crie 2199 z8804 vnto x413 mee, I will not x3808 hearken 8085 z8799 vnto x413 them.

 11:12 Then shall the cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 and inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem 3389 goe, 1980 z8804 and crie 2199 z8804 vnto x413 the gods 430 vnto whom x834 they x1992 offer incense; 6999 z8764 but they shall not x3808 saue y3467 z8686 them at all 3467 z8687 in the time 6256 of their trouble. 7451

 11:13 For x3588 [according] to the number 4557 of thy cities 5892 were x1961 thy gods, 430 O Iudah, 3063 and [according] to the number 4557 of the streetes 2351 of Ierusalem 3389 haue ye set vp 7760 z8804 altars 4196 to that shamefull thing, 1322 [euen] altars 4196 to burne incense 6999 z8763 vnto Baal. 1168

 11:14 Therefore pray 6419 z8691 not x408 thou x859 for x1157 this x2088 people, 5971 neither x408 lift vp 5375 z8799 a cry 7440 or prayer 8605 for x1157 them: for x3588 I x589 will not x369 heare 8085 z8802 them in the time 6256 that they crie 7121 z8800 vnto x413 mee for x1157 their trouble. 7451

 11:15 What x4100 hath my beloued 3039 to doe in mine house, 1004 [seeing] shee hath wrought 6213 z8800 lewdnesse 4209 with many? 7227 and the holy 6944 flesh 1320 is passed 5674 z8799 from x4480 x5921 thee: when x3588 thou doest euill, 7451 then x227 thou reioycest. 5937 z8799

 11:16 The LORD 3068 called 7121 z8804 thy name, 8034 A greene 7488 oliue tree, 2132 faire 3303 and of goodly 8389 fruite: 6529 with the noise 6963 of a great 1419 tumult 1999 hee hath kindled 3341 z8689 fire 784 vpon x5921 it, and the branches 1808 of it are broken. 7489 z8804

 11:17 For the LORD 3068 of hostes 6635 that planted 5193 z8802 thee, hath pronounced 1696 z8765 euill 7451 against x5921 thee, for y1558 x1588 the euill 7451 of the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 and of the house 1004 of Iudah, 3063 which x834 they haue done 6213 z8804 against themselues to prouoke mee to anger 3707 z8687 in offering incense 6999 z8763 vnto Baal. 1168

 11:18 ¶ And the LORD 3068 hath giuen mee knowledge 3045 z8799 [of it], and I knowe 3045 z8689 [it], then x227 thou shewedst 7200 z8689 me their doings. 4611

 11:19 But I x589 [was] like a lambe 3532 [or] an oxe 441 [that] is brought 2986 z8714 to the slaughter, 2873 z8800 and I knew 3045 z8804 not x3808 that x3588 they had deuised 2803 z8804 deuices 4284 against x5921 me, [saying]; Let vs destroy 7843 z8686 the tree 6086 with the fruit 3899 thereof, and let vs cut him off 3772 z8799 from the land 776 x4480 of the liuing, 2416 that his name 8034 may be no x3808 more x5750 remembred. 2142 z8735

 11:20 But, O LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 that iudgest 8199 z8802 righteously, 6664 that tryest 974 z8802 the reines, 3629 and the heart; 3820 let me see 7200 z8799 thy vengeance 5360 on x4480 them, for x3588 vnto x413 thee haue I reuealed 1540 z8765 x853 my cause. 7379

 11:21 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of x5921 the men y582 x376 of Anathoth, 6068 that seeke 1245 z8764 x853 thy life, 5315 saying; 559 z8800 Prophecie 5012 z8735 not x3808 in the Name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 that thou die 4191 z8799 not x3808 by our hand: 3027

 11:22 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 Behold, x2009 I wil punish 6485 z8802 x5921 them: the young men 970 shall die 4191 z8799 by the sword, 2719 their sonnes 1121 and their daughters 1323 shall die 4191 z8799 by famine. 7458

 11:23 And there shall be x1961 no x3808 remnant 7611 of them, for x3588 I will bring 935 z8686 euill 7451 vpon x413 the men y582 x376 of Anathoth, 6068 [euen] the yere 8141 of their visitation. 6486
