Ieremiah 28

1 Hananiah prophesieth falsely the return of the vessels, and of Jeconiah. 5 Jeremiah, wishing it to be true, sheweth that the event will declare who are the true prophets. 10 Hananiah breaketh Jeremiah's yoke. 12 Jeremiah telleth of an iron yoke, 15 and foretelleth Hananiah's death.

 28:1 ¶ And it came to passe x1961 the same x1931 yeere, 8141 in the beginning 7225 of the reigne 4467 of Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 in the fourth 7243 yeere, 8141 [and] in the fift 2549 moneth, 2320 [that] Hananiah 2608 the sonne 1121 of Azur 5809 the prophet, 5030 which x834 [was] of Gibeon, 1391 x4480 spake 559 z8804 vnto x413 mee in the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 in the presence 5869 of the priests 3548 and of all x3605 the people, 5971 saying; 559 z8800

 28:2 Thus x3541 speaketh 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hostes, 6635 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 saying; 559 z8800 I haue broken 7665 z8804 x853 the yoke 5923 of the king 4428 of Babylon. 894

 28:3 Within x5750 two full y3117 yeeres 8141 x3117 will I x589 bring againe 7725 z8688 into x413 this x2008 place 4725 x853 all x3605 the vessels 3627 of the LORDS 3068 house, 1004 that x834 Nebuchadnezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 tooke away 3947 z8804 from x4480 this x2008 place, 4725 and caried 935 z8686 them to Babylon. 894

 28:4 And I x589 will bring againe 7725 z8688 to x413 this x2008 place 4725 Ieconiah 3204 the sonne 1121 of Iehoiakim 3079 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 with all x3605 the captiues 1546 of Iudah, 3063 that went 935 z8802 into Babylon, 894 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 for x3588 I will breake 7665 z8799 x853 the yoke 5923 of the king 4428 of Babylon. 894

 28:5 ¶ Then the prophet 5030 Ieremiah 3414 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 the prophet 5030 Hananiah 2608 in the presence 5869 of the priests, 3548 and in the presence 5869 of all x3605 the people, 5971 that stood 5975 z8802 in the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068

 28:6 Euen the prophet 5030 Ieremiah 3414 said; 559 z8799 Amen: 543 the LORD 3068 doe 6213 z8799 so, x3651 the LORD 3068 performe 6965 z8686 x853 the words 1697 which x834 thou hast prophecied, 5012 z8738 to bring againe 7725 z8687 the vessels 3627 of the LORDS 3068 house, 1004 and all x3605 that is caried away captiue 1473 from Babylon 894 x4480 into x413 this x2008 place. 4725

 28:7 Neuerthelesse, x389 heare 8085 z8798 thou now x4994 this x2008 word 1697 that x834 I x595 speake 1696 z8802 in thine eares, 241 and in the eares 241 of all x3605 the people. 5971

 28:8 The prophets 5030 that x834 haue beene x1961 before 6440 mee, and before 6440 thee of x4480 old, 5769 prophecied 5012 z8735 both against x413 many 7227 countries, 776 and against x5921 great 1419 kingdoms, 4467 of warre, 4421 and of euill, 7451 and of pestilence. 1698

 28:9 The prophet 5030 which x834 prophecieth 5012 z8735 of peace, 7965 when the word 1697 of the prophet 5030 shall come to passe, 935 z8800 then y227 shall the prophet 5030 be knowen, 3045 z8735 that x834 the LORD 3068 hath truely 571 sent 7971 z8804 him.

 28:10 ¶ Then Hananiah 2608 the prophet 5030 tooke 3947 z8799 x853 the yoke 4133 from off x4480 x5921 the prophet 5030 Ieremiahs 3414 necke, 6677 and brake 7665 z8799 it.

 28:11 And Hananiah 2608 spake 559 z8799 in the presence 5869 of all x3605 the people, 5971 saying; 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Euen so x3602 will I breake 7665 z8799 x853 the yoke 5923 of Nebuchadnezzer 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 from x4480 x5921 the necke 6677 of all x3605 nations 1471 within the space of x5750 two full y3117 yeeres: 8141 x3117 and the Prophet 5030 Ieremiah 3414 went y3212 z8799 x1980 his way. 1870

 28:12 ¶ Then the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 vnto x413 Ieremiah 3414 the Prophet (after y310 that x310 Hananiah 2608 the prophet 5030 had broken 7665 z8800 x853 the yoke 4133 from off x4480 x5921 the necke 6677 of the Prophet 5030 Ieremiah) 3414 saying, 559 z8800

 28:13 Goe, 1980 z8800 and tell 559 z8804 x413 Hananiah, 2608 saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Thou hast broken 7665 z8804 the yokes 4133 of wood, 6086 but thou shalt make 6213 z8804 for x8478 them yokes 4133 of yron. 1270

 28:14 For x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 I haue put 5414 z8804 a yoke 5923 of yron 1270 vpon x5921 the neck 6677 of all x3605 these x428 nations, 1471 that they may serue 5647 z8800 x853 Nebuchad-nezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon, 894 and they shall serue 5647 z8804 him, and I haue giuen 5414 z8804 him x853 the beasts 2416 of the field 7704 also. x1571

 28:15 ¶ Then said 559 z8799 the Prophet 5030 Ieremiah 3414 vnto x413 Hananiah 2608 the prophet, 5030 Heare 8085 z8798 nowe x4994 Hananiah: 2608 the LORD 3068 hath not x3808 sent 7971 z8804 thee, but thou x859 makest x853 this x2008 people 5971 to trust 982 z8689 in x5921 a lye. 8267

 28:16 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Beholde, x2009 I will cast 7971 z8764 thee from off x4480 x5921 the face 6440 of the earth: 127 this yeere 8141 thou x859 shalt die, 4191 z8801 because x3588 thou hast taught 1696 z8765 rebellion 5627 against x413 the LORD. 3068

 28:17 So Hananiah 2608 the prophet 5030 died 4191 z8799 the same x1931 yeere, 8141 in the seuenth 7637 moneth. 2320
