Ieremiah 24

1 Under the type of good and bad figs, 4 he foresheweth the restoration of them that were in captivity, 8 and the desolation of Zedekiah and the rest.

 24:1 ¶ The LORD 3068 shewed 7200 z8689 mee, and behold, x2009 two 8147 baskets 1736 of figges 8384 were set 3259 z8716 before 6440 the temple 1964 of the LORD, 3068 after y310 that x310 Nebuchad-rezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 had caried away captiue 1540 z8687 x853 Ieconiah 3204 the sonne 1121 of Iehoiakim 3079 king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 and the princes 8269 of Iudah, 3063 with x854 the carpenters 2796 and smiths 4525 from Ierusalem, 3389 x4480 and had brought 935 z8686 them to Babylon. 894

 24:2 One 259 basket 1731 [had] very 3966 good 2896 figges, 8384 [euen] like the figges 8384 that are first ripe: 1073 and the other 259 basket 1731 [had] very 3966 naughty 7451 figges, 8384 which x834 could not x3808 be eaten, 398 z8735 they were so bad. 7455 x4480

 24:3 Then said 559 z8799 the LORD 3068 vnto x413 me; What x4100 seest 7200 z8802 thou x859 Ieremiah? 3414 and I said: 559 z8799 Figges: 8384 the good 2896 figges, 8384 very 3966 good 2896 and the euill, 7451 very 3966 euill, 7451 that x834 cannot x3808 be eaten, 398 z8735 they are so euill. 7455 x4480

 24:4 ¶ Againe, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 vnto x413 me, saying; 559 z8800

 24:5 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 Like these x428 good 2896 figges, 8384 so x3651 will I acknowledge 5234 z8686 x853 them that are caried away captiue 1546 of Iudah, 3063 whom x834 I haue sent 7971 z8765 out of x4480 this x2088 place 4725 into the land 776 of the Caldeans 3778 for their good. 2896

 24:6 For I will set 7760 z8804 mine eyes 5869 vpon x5921 them for good, 2896 and I will bring them againe 7725 z8689 to x5921 this x2063 land, 776 and I will build 1129 z8804 them, and not x3808 pull [them] downe, 2040 z8799 and I will plant 5193 z8804 them, and not x3808 plucke [them] vp. 5428 z8799

 24:7 And I will giue 5414 z8804 them an heart 3820 to know 3045 z8800 me, that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 and they shall be x1961 my people, 5971 and I x595 will be x1961 their God: 430 for x3588 they shall returne 7725 z8799 vnto x413 me with their whole x3605 heart. 3820

 24:8 ¶ And as the euill 7451 figges 8384 which x834 cannot x3808 be eaten, 398 z8735 they are so euill; 7455 x4480 (Surely x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD) 3068 so x3651 will I giue 5414 z8799 x853 Zedekiah 6667 the king 4428 of Iudah, 3063 and his princes, 8269 and the residue 7611 of Ierusalem, 3389 that remaine 7604 z8737 in this x2063 land, 776 and them that dwell 3427 z8802 in the land 776 of Egypt. 4714

 24:9 And I will deliuer 5414 z8804 them to be remoued 2189 z8675 y2113 into all x3605 the kingdomes 4467 of the earth 776 for [their] hurt, 7451 to be a reproch 2781 and a prouerbe, 4912 a taunt 8148 and a curse 7045 in all x3605 places 4725 whither x834 x8033 I shall driue 5080 z8686 them.

 24:10 And I will send 7971 z8765 x853 the sword, 2719 x853 the famine, 7458 and the pestilence 1698 among them, till x5704 they be consumed 8552 z8800 from off x4480 x5921 the land, 127 that x834 I gaue 5414 z8804 vnto them, and to their fathers. 1
