1 The Covenant in Horeb. 6 The Ten Commandments. 22 At the people's request Moses receiveth the Law from God.

 5:3 The LORD 3068 made 3772 z8804 not x3808 x853 this x2063 couenant 1285 with x854 our fathers, 1 but x3588 with x854 vs: y587 [euen] vs, x587 who x428 are all x3605 of vs y428 here x6311 aliue 2416 this day. 3117

 5:4 The LORD 3068 talked 1696 z8765 with x5973 you, face y6440 to face, 6440 in the mount, 2022 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of the fire, 784

 5:6 ¶ I x595 am the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 which x834 brought x3318 thee out y3318 z8689 of the lande 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 from the house 1004 x4480 of bondage. 5650

 5:7 Thou shalt haue x1961 none x3808 other 312 gods 430 before 6440 x5921 me.

 5:8 Thou shalt not x3808 make 6213 z8799 thee any grauen image, 6459 [or] any x3605 likenesse 8544 [of any thing] that x834 is in heauen 8064 aboue, 4605 x4480 or that x834 is in the earth 776 beneath, x4480 x8478 or that x834 [is] in the waters 4325 beneath x4480 x8478 the earth. 776

 5:9 Thou shalt not x3808 bow downe y7812 z8691 thy selfe x7812 vnto them, nor x3808 serue 5647 z8714 them: for x3588 I x595 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 [am] a ielous 7067 God, 410 visiting 6485 z8802 the iniquity 5771 of the fathers 1 vpon x5921 the children, 1121 vnto x5921 the third 8029 and fourth 7256 generation of them that hate 8130 z8802 me,

 5:10 And shewing 6213 z8802 mercy 2617 vnto thousands, 505 of them that loue 157 z8802 me, and keepe 8104 z8802 my commandements. 4687

 5:11 Thou shalt not x3808 take 5375 z8799 x853 the name 8034 of the LORD 3068 thy God 430 in vaine: 7723 for x3588 the LORD 3068 will not x3808 holde him guiltlesse 5352 z8762 x853 that x834 taketh 5375 z8799 x853 his name 8034 in vaine. 7723

 5:12 Keepe 8104 z8800 x853 the Sabbath 7676 day 3117 to sanctifie 6942 z8763 it, as x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath commanded 6680 z8765 thee.

 5:13 Sixe 8337 dayes 3117 thou shalt labour, 5647 z8799 and doe 6213 z8804 all x3605 thy worke. 4399

 5:14 But the seuenth 7637 day 3117 [is] the Sabbath 7676 of the LORD 3068 thy God: 430 [in it] thou shalt not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 any x3605 worke, 4399 thou, x859 nor thy sonne, 1121 nor thy daughter, 1323 nor thy man seruant, 5650 nor thy maid seruant, 519 nor thine oxe, 7794 nor thine asse, 2543 nor any x3605 of thy cattel, 929 nor thy stranger 1616 that x834 [is] within thy gates, 8179 that x4616 thy man seruant 5650 and thy maid seruant 519 may rest 5117 z8799 as well as thou.

 5:15 And remember 2142 z8804 that x3588 thou wast x1961 a seruant 5650 in the land 776 of Egypt, 4714 and that the LORD 3068 thy God 430 brought y3318 z8686 thee out x3318 thence, x4480 x8033 through a mightie 2389 hand, 3027 and by a stretched out 5186 z8803 arme: 2220 Therefore x5921 x3651 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 commaunded 6680 z8765 thee to keepe 6213 z8800 x853 the Sabbath 7676 day. 3117

 5:16 ¶ Honour 3513 z8761 x853 thy father 1 and thy mother, 517 as x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath commanded 6680 z8765 thee, that x4416 thy daies 3117 may be prolonged, 748 z8686 and that x4616 it may goe well 3190 z8799 with thee, in x5921 the land 127 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee.

 5:17 Thou shalt not x3808 kill. 7523 z8799

 5:18 Neither x3808 shalt thou commit adulterie. 5003 z8799

 5:19 Neither x3808 shalt thou steale. 1589 z8799

 5:20 Neither x3808 shalt thou beare 6030 z8799 false 7723 witnesse 5707 against thy neighbour. 7453

 5:21 Neither x3808 shalt thou desire 2530 z8799 thy neighbours 7453 wife, 802 neither x3808 shalt thou couet 183 z8691 thy neighbours 7453 house, 1004 his field, 7704 or his man seruant, 5650 or his maide seruant, 519 his oxe, 7794 or his asse, 2543 or any x3605 thing that x834 [is] thy neighbours. 7453

 5:22 ¶ x853 These x428 wordes 1697 the LORD 3068 spake 1696 z8765 vnto x413 all x3605 your assembly 6951 in the mount 2022 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of the fire, 784 of the cloud, 6051 and of the thicke darkenesse, 6205 [with] a great 1419 voice, 6963 and he added no more, 3254 z8804 x3808 and he wrote 3789 z8799 them in x5921 two 8147 Tables 3871 of stone, 68 and deliuered 5414 z8799 them vnto x413 me.

 5:23 And it came to passe x1961 when yee heard 8085 z8800 x853 the voice 6963 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of the darkenes 2822 (for the mountaine 2022 did burne 1197 z8802 with fire) 784 that ye came neere 7126 z8799 vnto x413 mee, [euen] all x3605 the heads 7218 of your tribes, 7626 and your elders. 2205

 5:24 And ye said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2005 the LORD 3068 our God 430 hath shewed 7200 z8689 vs x853 his glory, 3519 and his greatnesse, 1433 and we haue heard 8085 z8804 his voice 6963 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of the fire: 784 wee haue seene 7200 z8804 this x2088 day 3117 that x3588 God 430 doth talke 1696 z8762 with x854 man, 120 and he liueth. 2425 z8804

 5:25 Now x6258 therefore why x4100 should wee die? 4191 z8799 for x3588 this x2063 great 1419 fire 784 will consume 398 z8799 vs. If x518 we x587 heare 8085 z8800 x853 the voyce 6963 of the LORD 3068 our God 430 any more, 3254 z8802 x5750 then we shall die. 4191 z8804

 5:26 For x3588 who x4310 is there of all x3605 flesh 1320 that x834 hath heard 8085 z8804 the voice 6963 of the liuing 2416 God, 430 speaking 1696 z8764 out of the midst 8432 x4480 of the fire 784 (as we x3644 [haue]) and liued? 2421 z8799

 5:27 Goe thou neere, 7126 z8798 x859 and heare 8085 z8798 x853 all x3605 that x834 the LORD 3068 our God 430 shall say; 559 z8799 and speake 1696 z8762 thou x859 vnto x413 vs x853 all x3605 that x834 the LORD 3068 our God 430 shall speake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 thee, and we will heare 8085 z8804 it, and doe 6213 z8804 it.

 5:28 And the LORD 3068 heard 8085 z8799 x853 the voice 6963 of your words, 1697 when ye spake 1696 z8763 vnto x413 me, and the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, I haue heard 8085 z8804 x853 the voice 6963 of the wordes 1697 of this x2088 people, 5971 which x834 they haue spoken 1696 z8765 vnto x413 thee: they haue well y3190 z8689 said, x3190 all x3605 that x834 they haue spoken. 1696 z8765

 5:29 O that x4310 x5414 there were x1961 such 2088 an y4310 heart 3824 in them, y5414 z8799 that they would feare 3372 z8800 me, and keepe 8104 z8800 x853 x3605 my commandements 4687 alwayes, 3117 x3605 that x4616 it might bee well 3190 z8799 with them, and with their children 1121 for euer. 5769

 5:31 But as for thee, x859 stand 5975 z8798 thou here x6311 by x5978 me, y5978 and I will speake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 thee x853 all x3605 the Commandements, 4687 and the Statutes, 2706 and the Iudgements, 4941 which x834 thou shalt teach 3925 z8762 them, that they may doe 6213 z8804 them in the land 776 which x834 I x595 giue 5414 z8802 them to possesse 3423 z8800 it.

 5:32 Ye shall obserue 8104 z8804 to doe 6213 z8800 therefore, as x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 hath commanded 6680 z8765 you: you shall not x3808 turne aside 5493 z8799 to the right hand, 3225 or to the left. 8040

 5:33 You shall walke y3212 z8799 x1980 in all x3605 the wayes 1870 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 hath commanded 6680 z8765 you, that x4616 ye may liue, 2421 z8799 and [that it may be] well 2895 z8804 with you, and that ye may prolong 748 z8689 [your] dayes 3117 in the land 776 which x834 ye shall possesse. 3423 z8799
