Deuteronomie 24

1 Of divorce. 5 A new married man goeth not to war. 6, 10 Of pledges. 7 Of manstealers. 8 Of leprosy. 14 The hire is to be given. 16 Of justice. 19 Of charity.

 24:1 ¶ When x3588 a man 376 hath taken 3947 z8799 a wife 802 and married 1166 z8804 her, and it come to passe x1961 that x518 shee find 4672 z8799 no x3808 fauour 2580 in his eyes, 5869 because x3588 hee hath found 4672 z8804 some 1697 vncleannesse 6172 in her: then let him write 3789 z8804 her a bill 5612 of diuorcement, 3748 and giue 5414 z8804 [it] in her hand, 3027 and send 7971 z8765 her out of his house. 1004 x4480

 24:2 And when shee is departed x3318 out y3318 z8804 of his house, 1004 x4480 she may goe 1980 z8804 and be x1961 another 312 mans 376 [wife].

 24:3 And [if] the latter 314 husband 376 hate 8130 z8804 her, and write 3789 z8804 her a bill 5612 of diuorcement, 3748 and giueth 5414 z8804 [it] in her hand, 3027 and sendeth 7971 z8765 her out of his house: 1004 x4480 Or x176 if x3588 the latter 314 husband 376 die, 4191 z8799 which x834 tooke 3947 z8804 her to be his wife, 802

 24:4 Her former 7223 husband 1167 which x834 sent her away, 7971 z8765 may 3201 z8799 not x3808 take 3947 z8800 her againe 7725 z8800 to be x1961 his wife, 802 after y310 that x310 x834 she is defiled: 2930 z8719 for x3588 that x1931 [is] abomination 8441 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 and thou shalt not x3808 cause x853 the land 776 to sinne, 2398 z8686 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee for an inheritance. 5159

 24:5 ¶ When x3588 a man 376 hath taken 3947 z8799 a new 2319 wife, 802 he shal not x3808 goe out 3318 z8799 to warre, 6635 neither x3808 shall hee be charged 5674 z8799 with x5921 any x3605 businesse: 1697 [but] hee shall be x1961 free 5355 at home 1004 one 259 yeere, 8141 and shall cheere vp 8055 z8765 x853 his wife 802 which x834 he hath taken. 3947 z8804

 24:6 ¶ No x3808 man shall take 2254 z0 the nether 7347 or the vpper x7393 milstone y7393 x7347 to pledge: 2254 z8799 for x3588 hee x1931 taketh 2254 z0 [a mans] life 5315 to pledge. 2254 z8802

 24:7 ¶ If x3588 a man 376 bee found 4672 z8735 stealing 1589 z8802 any 5315 of his brethren 251 x4480 of the children 1121 x4480 of Israel, 3478 and maketh merchandize 6014 z8694 of him, or selleth 4376 z8804 him: then that x1931 thiefe 1590 shall die, 4191 z8804 and thou shalt put y1197 z0 euill y7451 away 1197 z8765 x7451 from among 7130 x4480 you.

 24:8 ¶ Take heede, 8104 z8734 in the plague 5061 of leprosie, 6883 that thou obserue 8104 z8800 diligently, 3966 and doe 6213 z8800 according to all x3605 that x834 the Priests 3548 the Leuites 3881 shall teach 3384 z8686 you: as x834 I commanded 6680 z8765 them, so ye shall obserue 8104 z8799 to doe. 6213 z8800

 24:9 Remember 2142 z8800 x853 what x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 did 6213 z8804 vnto Miriam 4813 by the way, 1870 after that yee were come forth 3318 z8800 out of Egypt. 4714 x4480

 24:10 ¶ When x3588 thou doest lend 5383 z8686 thy brother 7453 any 3972 thing, 4859 thou shalt not x3808 goe 935 z8799 into x413 his house 1004 to fetch 5670 z8800 his pledge. 5667

 24:11 Thou shalt stand 5975 z8799 abroad, 2351 and the man 376 to whome x834 thou x859 doest lend, 5383 z8802 shall bring out 3318 z8686 x853 the pledge 5667 abroad 2351 vnto x413 thee.

 24:12 And if x518 the man 376 be poore, 6041 thou shalt not x3808 sleepe 7901 z8799 with his pledge: 5667

 24:13 In any case y7725 z8687 thou shalt deliuer 7725 z0 him x853 the pledge 5667 againe y7725 z8686 when the Sun 8121 goeth downe, 935 z8800 that he may sleepe 7901 z8804 in his owne raiment, 8008 and blesse 1288 z8765 thee: and it shall be x1961 righteousnesse 6666 vnto thee before 6440 the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 24:14 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 oppresse 6231 z8799 an hired seruant 7916 [that is] poore 6041 and needy, 34 [whether he be] of thy brethren, 251 x4480 or x176 of thy strangers 1616 x4480 that x834 [are] in thy lande 776 within thy gates. 8179

 24:15 At his day 3117 thou shalt giue 5414 z8799 [him] his hire, 7939 neither x3808 shall the Sun 8121 goe downe 935 z8799 vpon x5921 it, for x3588 he x1931 is poore, 6041 and setteth 5375 z8802 x853 his heart 5315 vpon x413 it, lest x3808 hee crie 7121 z8799 against x5921 thee vnto x413 the LORD, 3068 and it bee x1961 sinne 2399 vnto thee.

 24:16 The fathers 1 shall not x3808 bee put to death 4191 z8714 for x5921 the children, 1121 neither x3808 shall the children 1121 be put to death 4191 z8714 for x5921 the fathers: 1 euery man 376 shall be put to death 4191 z8714 for his owne sinne. 2399

 24:17 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 peruert 5186 z8686 the iudgement 4941 of the stranger, 1616 [nor] of the fatherles, 3490 nor x3808 take 2254 z0 a widowes 490 raiment 899 to pledge. 2254 z8799

 24:18 But thou shalt remember 2142 z8804 that x3588 thou wast x1961 a bondman 5650 in Egypt, 4714 and the LORD 3068 thy God 430 redeemed 6299 z8799 thee thence: x4480 x8033 therefore x5921 x3651 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee to doe 6213 z8800 x853 this x2088 thing. 1697

 24:19 ¶ When x3588 thou cuttest downe 7114 z8799 thine haruest 7105 in thy field, 7704 and hast forgot 7911 z8804 a sheafe 6016 in the field, 7704 thou shalt not x3808 go againe 7725 z8799 to fetch 3947 z8800 it: it shalbe x1961 for the stranger, 1616 for the fatherlesse, 3490 and for the widow: 490 that x4616 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 may blesse 1288 z8762 thee in all x3605 the worke 4639 of thine hands. 3027

 24:20 When x3588 thou beatest 2251 z8799 thine oliue tree 2132 thou shalt not x3808 goe ouer the boughes 6286 z8762 againe: 310 it shall be x1961 for the stranger, 1616 for the fatherlesse, 3490 and for the widow. 490

 24:21 When x3588 thou gatherest y1219 z8799 the grapes x1219 of thy vineyard, 3754 thou shalt not x3808 gleane 5953 z8779 it afterward, 310 it shalbe x1961 for the stranger, 1616 for the fatherlesse, 3490 and for the widow. 490

 24:22 And thou shalt remember 2142 z8804 that x3588 thou wast x1961 a bondman 5650 in the land 776 of Egypt: 4714 therfore x5921 x3651 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee to doe 6213 z8800 x853 this x2088 thing. 1697
