1 The cities of refuge. 4 The privilege thereof for the manslayer. 14 The landmark is not to be removed. 15 Two witnesses at the least. 16 The punishment of a false witness.

 19:1 ¶ When x3588 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath cut off 3772 z8686 x853 the nations, 1471 whose x834 x853 lande 776 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee, and thou succeedest 3423 z8804 them, and dwellest 3427 z8804 in their cities, 5892 and in their houses: 1004

 19:2 Thou shalt separate 914 z8686 three 7969 cities 5892 for thee in the midst 8432 of thy land, 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee to possesse 3423 z8800 it.

 19:3 Thou shalt prepare 3559 z8686 thee a way, 1870 and diuide x8027 x853 the coasts 1366 of thy land 776 (which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth thee to inherit) 5157 z8686 into three parts, y8027 z8765 that euery x3605 slayer 7523 z8802 may x1961 flee 5127 z8800 thither. x8033

 19:4 ¶ And this x2088 is the case 1697 of the slayer 7523 z8802 which x834 shall flee 5127 z8799 thither, x8033 that hee may liue: 2425 z8804 who so x834 killeth 5221 z8686 x853 his neighbour 7453 ignorantly, y1097 y1847 x1907 x1947 whom he x1931 hated 8130 z8802 not x3808 in time y8543 x8032 past, y8032 x4480 x8657

 19:5 As when [a man] x834 goeth 935 z8799 into the wood 3293 with x854 his neighbor, 7453 to hew 2404 z8800 wood, 6086 and his hand 3027 fetcheth a stroke 5080 z8738 with the axe 1631 to cut downe 3772 z8800 the tree, 6086 and the head 1270 slippeth 5394 z8804 from x4480 the helue, 6086 and lighteth y4672 z8804 vpon x4672 x853 his neighbour 7453 that he die, 4191 z8804 he x1931 shall flee 5127 z8799 vnto x413 one 259 of those x428 cities, 5892 and liue: 2425 z8804

 19:8 And if x518 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 enlarge 7337 z8686 x853 thy coast 1366 (as x834 he hath sworne 7650 z8738 vnto thy fathers) 1 and giue 5414 z8804 thee x853 all x3605 the lande 776 which x834 hee promised 1696 z8765 to giue 5414 z8800 vnto thy fathers: 1

 19:9 (If x3588 thou shalt keepe 8104 z8799 x853 all x3605 these x2063 commandements 4687 to doe 6213 z8800 them, which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee this day, 3117 to loue 157 z8800 x853 the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 and to walke y3212 z8800 x1980 euer 3117 x3605 in his wayes) 1870 then shalt thou adde 3254 z8804 three 7969 cities 5892 moe x5750 for thee, beside x5921 these x428 three: 7969

 19:10 That innocent 5355 blood 1818 be not x3808 shed 8210 z8735 in 7130 thy land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee for an inheritance, 5159 and so blood 1818 be x1961 vpon x5921 thee.

 19:11 ¶ But if x3588 any man 376 hate 8130 z8802 x1961 his neighbour 7453 and lie in wait 693 z8804 for him, and rise vp 6965 z8804 against x5921 him, and smite 5221 z8689 him mortally 5315 that hee die, 4191 z8804 and fleeth 5127 z8804 into x413 one 259 of these 411 Cities: 5892

 19:12 Then the Elders 2205 of his citie 5892 shall send 7971 z8804 and fetch 3947 z8804 him thence, x4480 x8033 and deliuer 5414 z8804 him into the hand 3027 of the auenger 1350 z8802 of blood, 1818 that he may die. 4191 z8804

 19:13 Thine eye 5869 shall not x3808 pittie 2347 z8799 x5921 him, but thou shalt put away 1197 z8765 [the guilt of] innocent 5355 blood 1818 from Israel, 3478 x4480 that it may goe wel 2895 z8804 with thee.

 19:14 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 remooue 5253 z8686 thy neighbours 7453 [land]-marke, 1366 which x834 they of old time 7223 haue set 1379 z8804 in thine inheritance, 5159 which x834 thou shalt inherite, 5157 z8799 in the land 776 that x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee to possesse 3423 z8800 it.

 19:15 ¶ One 259 witnesse 5707 shall not x3808 rise vp 6965 z8799 against a man 376 for any x3605 iniquitie, 5771 or for any x3605 sinne, 2403 in any x3605 sinne 2399 that x834 he sinneth: 2398 z8799 at x5921 the mouth 6310 of two 8147 witnesses, 5707 or x176 at x5921 the mouth 6310 of three 7969 witnesses, 5707 shall the matter 1697 be stablished. 6965 z8799

 19:16 ¶ If x3588 a false 2555 witnes 5707 rise vp 6965 z8799 against any man 376 to testifie 6030 z8800 against him [that which is] wrong: 5627

 19:17 Then both 8147 the men y582 x376 betweene whom x834 the controuersie 7379 is, shall stand 5975 z8804 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 before 6440 the Priests, 3548 and the Iudges, 8199 z8802 which x834 shall be x1961 in those x1992 dayes. 3117

 19:18 And the Iudges 8199 z8802 shall make diligent y3190 z8687 inquisition: 1875 z8804 x3190 and behold, x2009 if the witnesse 5707 be a false 8267 witnesse, 5707 [and] hath testified 6030 z8804 falsly 8267 against his brother: 251

 19:19 Then shall ye doe 6213 z8804 vnto him, as x834 he had thought 2161 z8804 to haue done 6213 z8800 vnto his brother: 251 so shalt thou put y1197 z0 the euil y7451 away 1197 z8765 x7451 from among 7130 x4480 you.

 19:20 And those which remaine 7604 z8737 shall heare, 8085 z8799 and feare, 3372 z8799 and shall hencefoorth 3254 z8686 commit 6213 z8800 no x3808 more x5750 any 1697 such x2088 euill 7451 among 7130 you.

 19:21 And thine eye 5869 shall not x3808 pitie, 2347 z8799 [but] life 5315 [shall goe] for life, 5315 eye 5869 for eye, 5869 tooth 8127 for tooth, 8127 hand 3027 for hand, 3027 foot 7272 for foot. 7272
