Deuteronomie 18

1 The LORD is the priests' and Levites' inheritance. 3 The priest's due. 6 The Levite's portion. 9 The abominations of the nations are to be avoided. 15 Christ the Prophet is to be heard. 20 The presumptuous prophet is to die.

 18:1 ¶ The Priests, 3548 the Leuites, 3881 [and] all x3605 the tribe 7626 of Leui, 3878 shall haue x1961 no x3808 part 2506 nor inheritance 5159 with x5973 Israel: 3478 they shall eate 398 z8799 the offerings y801 z0 of the LORD y3068 made by fire, 801 x3068 and his inheritance. 5159

 18:2 Therefore shall they haue x1961 no x3808 inheritance 5159 among 7130 their brethren: 251 the LORD 3068 [is] their inheritance, 5159 as x834 he hath said 1696 z8765 vnto them.

 18:3 ¶ And this x2088 shalbe x1961 the Priests 3548 due 4941 from x4480 x854 the people, 5971 from x4480 x854 them that offer 2076 z8802 a sacrifice, 2077 whether x518 it bee oxe 7794 or x518 sheepe: 7716 and they shall giue 5414 z8804 vnto the Priest 3548 the shoulder, 2220 and the two cheekes, 3895 and the maw. 6896

 18:4 The first fruit 7225 [also] of thy corne, 1715 of thy wine, 8492 and of thy oyle, 3323 and the first 7225 of the fleece 1488 of thy sheepe, 6629 shalt thou giue 5414 z8799 him.

 18:5 For x3588 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath chosen 977 z8804 him out of all x4480 x3605 thy tribes, 7626 to stand 5975 z8800 to minister 8334 z8763 in the Name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 him, x1931 and his sonnes 1121 for euer. 3117 x3605

 18:6 ¶ And if x3588 a Leuite 3881 come 935 z8799 from any 259 x4480 of thy gates 8179 out of all x4480 x3605 Israel, 3478 where x834 x8033 he x1931 soiourned, 1481 z8802 and come 935 z8804 with all x3605 the desire 185 of his minde, 5315 vnto x413 the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 shall choose; 977 z8799

 18:7 Then hee shall minister 8334 z8765 in the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 his God, 430 as all x3605 his brethren 251 the Leuites 3881 [doe], which stand 5975 z8802 there x8033 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 18:8 They shall haue like portions 2506 to eate, 398 z8799 beside x905 that which commeth of the sale 4465 x4480 of x5921 his patrimonie. 1

 18:9 ¶ When x3588 thou x859 art come 935 z8802 into x413 the land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee, thou shalt not x3808 learne 3925 z8799 to doe 6213 z8800 after the abominations 8441 of those x1992 nations. 1471

 18:10 There shall not x3808 be found 4672 z8735 among you [any one] that maketh his sonne, 1121 or his daughter 1323 to passe y5674 z8688 thorow x5674 the fire, 784 or that vseth 7080 z8802 diuination, 7081 [or] an obseruer of times, 6049 z8781 or an inchanter, 5172 z8764 or a witch, 3784 z8764

 18:11 Or a charmer, 2266 2267 z8802 or a consulter 7592 z8802 with familiar spirits, 178 or a wyzard, 3049 or a Necromancer. 1875 4191 z8802 z8801 x413

 18:12 For x3588 all x3605 that do 6213 z8802 these things, x428 [are] an abomination 8441 vnto the LORD: 3068 and because 1558 of these x428 abominations, 8441 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 doth driue them out 3423 z8688 x853 from before 6440 x4480 thee.

 18:13 Thou shalt bee x1961 perfite 8549 with x5973 the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 18:14 For x3588 these x428 nations 1471 which x834 thou x859 shalt possesse, 3423 z8802 x853 hearkened 8085 z8799 vnto x413 obseruers of times, 6049 z8781 and vnto x413 diuiners: 7080 z8802 but as for thee, x859 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath not x3808 suffered 5414 z8804 thee so x3651 [to doe].

 18:15 ¶ The LORD 3068 thy God 430 will raise vp 6965 z8686 vnto thee a Prophet 5030 from the midst 7130 x4480 of thee, of thy brethren, 251 x4480 like vnto me, x3644 vnto x413 him ye shall hearken, 8085 z8799

 18:16 According to all x3605 that x834 thou desiredst 7592 z8804 of x4480 x5973 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 in Horeb, 2722 in the day 3117 of the assembly, 6951 saying, 559 z8800 Let mee not x3808 heare 8085 z8800 again 3254 z8686 x853 the voice 6963 of the LORD 3068 my God, 430 neither x3808 let mee see 7200 z8799 this x2063 great 1419 fire 784 any more, x5750 that I die 4191 z8799 not. x3808

 18:17 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 mee, They haue well 3190 z8689 [spoken] that which x834 they haue spoken. 1696 z8765

 18:18 I will raise them vp 6965 z8686 a Prophet 5030 from among 7130 x4480 their brethren, 251 like vnto thee, x3644 and will put 5414 z8804 my wordes 1697 in his mouth, 6310 and hee shall speake 1696 z8765 vnto x413 them x853 all x3605 that x834 I shall command 6680 z8762 him.

 18:19 And it shall come to passe, x1961 that whosoeuer 376 x834 will not x3808 hearken 8085 z8799 vnto x413 my words, 1697 which x834 hee shall speake 1696 z8762 in my name, 8034 I x595 will require 1875 z8799 [it] of x4480 x5973 him.

 18:20 But x389 the prophet 5030 which x834 shall presume 2102 z8686 to speake 1696 z8763 a word 1697 in my name, 8034 x853 which x834 I haue not x3808 commanded 6680 z8765 him to speake, 1696 z8763 or that x834 shall speake 1696 z8762 in the name 8034 of other 312 gods, 430 euen that x1931 prophet 5030 shall die. 4191 z8804

 18:21 And if x3588 thou say 559 z8799 in thine heart, 3824 How x349 shall wee know 3045 z8799 x853 the word 1697 which x834 the LORD 3068 hath not x3808 spoken? 1696 z8765

 18:22 When x834 a prophet 5030 speaketh 1696 z8762 in the name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 if the thing 1697 follow x1961 not, x3808 nor x3808 come to passe, 935 z8799 that x1931 [is] the thing 1697 which x834 the LORD 3068 hath not x3808 spoken, 1696 z8765 [but] the prophet 5030 hath spoken 1696 z8765 it presumptuously: 2087 thou shalt not x3808 bee afraid 1481 z8799 of x4480 him.
