1 Of humanity toward brethren. 5 The sex is to be distinguished by apparel. 6 The dam is not to be taken with her young ones. 8 The house must have battlements. 9 Confusion is to be avoided. 12 Fringes upon the vesture. 13 The punishment of him that slandereth his wife. 20, 22 Of adultery, 25 of rape, 28 and of fornication. 30 Incest.

 22:1 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 see 7200 z8799 x853 thy brothers 251 oxe, 7794 or x176 x853 his sheepe 7716 go astray, 5080 z8737 and hide y5956 z8694 thy selfe x5956 from x4480 them: thou shalt in any case y7725 z8687 bring them againe 7725 z8686 vnto thy brother. 251

 22:2 And if x518 thy brother 251 be not x3808 nigh 7138 vnto x413 thee, or if thou know 3045 z8804 him not, x3808 then thou shalt bring 622 z8804 it vnto 8432 x413 thine owne house, 1004 and it shall be x1961 with x5973 thee, vntil x5704 thy brother 251 seeke y1875 z8800 after x1875 it, and thou shalt restore x7725 it to him againe. y7725 z8689

 22:3 In like maner 3651 shalt thou do 6213 z8799 with his asse, 2543 and so x3651 shalt thou doe 6213 z8799 with his raiment: 8071 and with all x3605 lost thing 9 of thy brothers 251 which x834 he hath lost, 6 z8799 and thou hast found, 4672 z8804 shalt thou do 6213 z8799 likewise: x3651 thou mayest 3201 z8799 not x3808 hide y5956 z8692 thy selfe. x5956

 22:4 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 see 7200 z8799 x853 thy brothers 251 asse 2543 or x176 his oxe 7794 fall downe 5307 z8802 by the way, 1870 and hide y5956 z8694 thy selfe x5956 from x4480 them: thou shalt surely y6965 z8687 helpe him to lift them vp againe. 6965 z8686 x5973

 22:5 ¶ The woman 802 shall not x3808 weare x1961 that which pertaineth 3627 vnto a man, 1397 neither x3808 shall a man 1397 put y3847 z8799 on x3847 a womans 802 garment: 8071 for x3588 all x3605 that doe 6213 z8802 so, 428 are abomination 8441 vnto the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 22:6 ¶ If x3588 a birds 6833 nest 7064 chance y7122 z8735 to be x7122 before 6440 thee in the way 1870 in any x3605 tree, 6086 or x176 on x5921 the ground, 776 whether they be yong ones, 667 or x176 egges, 1000 and the damme 517 sitting 7257 z8802 vpon x5921 the yong, 667 or x176 vpon x5921 the egges, 1000 thou shalt not x3808 take 3947 z8799 the damme 517 with x5921 the yong. 1121

 22:7 But thou shalt in any wise 7971 z8763 x853 let the damme 517 goe, 7971 z8762 and take 3947 z8799 the yong 1121 to thee, that x4616 it may be well 3190 z8799 with thee, and [that] thou mayest prolong 748 z8689 [thy] dayes. 3117

 22:8 ¶ When x3588 thou buildest 1129 z8799 a new 2319 house, 1004 then thou shalt make 6213 z8804 a battlement 4624 for thy roofe, 1406 that thou bring 7760 z8799 not x3808 blood 1818 vpon thine house, 1004 if x3588 any man 5307 z8802 fall 5307 z8799 from x4480 thence.

 22:9 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 sow 2232 z8799 thy vineyard 3754 with diuers seeds: 3610 lest x6435 the fruit 4395 of thy seed 2233 which x834 thou hast sowen, 2232 z8799 and the fruit 8393 of thy Uineyard 3754 be defiled. 6942 z8799

 22:10 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 plow 2790 z8799 with an oxe 7794 and an asse 2543 together. 3162

 22:11 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 weare 3847 z8799 a garment of diuers sorts, 8162 [as] of woollen, 6785 and linnen 6593 together. 3162

 22:12 ¶ Thou shalt make 6213 z8799 thee fringes 1434 vpon x5921 the foure 702 quarters 3671 of thy vesture, 3682 wherewith x834 thou couerest 3680 z8762 [thy selfe].

 22:13 ¶ If x3588 any man 376 take 3947 z8799 a wife, 802 and go in 935 z8804 vnto x413 her, and hate 8130 z8804 her,

 22:14 And giue 7760 z8804 occasions 5949 of speach 1697 [against her], and bring vp 3318 z8689 an euill 7451 name 8034 vpon x5921 her, and say, 559 z8804 I tooke 3947 z8804 x853 this x2063 woman, 802 and when I came 7126 z8799 to x413 her, I found 4672 z8804 her not x3808 a mayd: 1331

 22:15 Then shal the father 1 of the damosell, 5291 and her mother 517 take, 3947 z8804 and bring forth 3318 z8689 x853 the tokens of the damosels 5291 virginitie, 1331 vnto x413 the Elders 2205 of the citie 5892 in the gate. 8179

 22:16 And the damosels 5291 father 1 shall say 559 z8804 vnto x413 the Elders, 2205 I gaue 5414 z8804 x853 my daughter 1323 vnto this x2088 man 376 to wife, 802 & he hateth 8130 z8799 her:

 22:17 And loe, x2009 he x1931 hath giuen 7760 z8804 occasions 5949 of speech 1697 [against her], saying, 559 z8800 I found 4672 z8804 not x3808 thy daughter 1323 a maid: 1331 and yet these x428 [are] the tokens of my daughters 1323 virginity; 1331 and they shall spread 6566 z8804 the cloth 8071 before 6440 the Elders 2205 of the citie. 5892

 22:18 And the Elders 2205 of that x1931 citie 5892 shall take 3947 z8804 x853 that man, 376 and chastise 3256 z8765 him.

 22:19 And they shall amearse 6064 z8804 him in an hundred 3967 [shekels] of siluer, 3701 and giue 5414 z8804 them vnto the father 1 of the damosell, 5291 because x3588 he hath brought vp 3318 z8689 an euill 7451 name 8034 vpon x5921 a virgine 1330 of Israel: 3478 and she shall be x1961 his wife, 802 hee may 3201 z8799 not x3808 put her away 7971 z8763 all x3605 his dayes. 3117

 22:20 But if x518 this x2088 thing 1697 be x1961 true, 571 [and] the tokens of virginitie 1331 be not x3808 found 4672 z8738 for the damosel: 5291

 22:21 Then they shall bring out 3318 z8689 x853 the damosell 5291 to x413 the doore 6607 of her fathers 1 house, 1004 and the men y582 x376 of her city 5892 shal stone 5619 z8804 her with stones 68 that she die, 4191 z8804 because x3588 she hath wrought 6213 z8804 folly 5039 in Israel, 3478 to play the whore 2181 z8800 in her fathers 1 house: 1004 so shalt thou put y1197 z0 euill y7451 away 1197 z8765 x7451 from among 7130 x4480 you.

 22:22 ¶ If x3588 a man 376 be found 4672 z8735 lying 7901 z8802 with x5973 a woman 802 married 1166 z8803 to an husband, 1167 then they shall both x1571 x8147 of them y8147 die, 4191 z8804 [both] the man 376 that lay 7901 z8802 with x5973 the woman, 802 and the woman: 802 so shalt thou put away 1197 z8765 euill 7451 from Israel. 3478 x4480

 22:23 ¶ If x3588 a damosell 5291 [that is] a virgin 1330 be x1961 betrothed 781 z8794 vnto an husband, 376 and a man 376 find 4672 z8804 her in the citie, 5892 and lie 7901 z8804 with x5973 her:

 22:24 Then yee shall bring y3318 z8689 them both y8147 out x3318 x853 x8147 vnto x413 the gate 8179 of that x1931 citie, 5892 and yee shall stone 5619 z8804 them with stones 68 that they die; 4191 z8804 x853 the damosel, 5291 because 834 1697 x5921 shee cried 6817 z8804 not, x3808 [being] in the citie; 5892 and the man, 376 because 834 1697 x5921 he hath humbled 6031 z8765 x853 his neighbours 7453 wife: 802 so thou shalt put away 1197 z8765 euill 7451 from among 7130 x4480 you.

 22:25 ¶ But if x518 a man 376 find 4672 z8799 x853 a betrothed 781 z8794 damosel 5291 in the field, 7704 and the man 376 force 2388 z8689 her, and lie 7901 z8804 with x5973 her: then the man 376 only x905 that x834 lay 7901 z8804 with x5973 her, shall die. 4191 z8804

 22:26 But vnto the damosel 5291 thou shalt doe 6213 z8799 nothing, 1697 x3808 there is in the damosel 5291 no x369 sinne 2399 worthy of death: 4194 for x3588 as x834 when a man 376 riseth 6965 z8799 against x5921 his neighbour, 7453 and slayeth 7523 5315 z8804 z8676 him, euen so x3651 is this x2088 matter. 1697

 22:27 For x3588 he found 4672 z8804 her in the field, 7704 [and] the betrothed 781 z8794 damosel 5291 cried, 6817 z8804 and there was none x369 to saue 3467 z8688 her.

 22:28 ¶ If x3588 a man 376 finde 4672 z8799 a damosel 5291 that is a virgin, 1330 which x834 is not x3808 betrothed, 781 z8795 and lay hold 8610 z8804 on her, and lie 7901 z8804 with x5973 her, and they be found: 4672 z8738

 22:29 Then the man 376 that lay 7901 z8802 with x5973 her, shall giue 5414 z8804 vnto the damosels 5291 father 1 fifty 2572 [shekels] of siluer, 3701 and she shalbe x1961 his wife, 802 because x8478 x834 he hath humbled 6031 z8765 her: he may 3201 z8799 not x3808 put her away 7971 z8763 all x3605 his dayes. 3117

 22:30 ¶ A man 376 shall not x3808 take 3947 z8799 x853 his fathers 1 wife, 802 nor x3808 discouer 1540 z8762 his fathers 1 skirt. 3671
