Deuteronomie 12

1 Monuments of idolatry are to be destroyed. 5 The place of God's service is to be kept. 16, 23 Blood is forbidden. 17, 20, 26 Holy things must be eaten in the holy place. 19 The Levite is not to be forsaken. 29 Idolatry is not to be enquired after.

 12:1 ¶ These x428 are the Statutes, 2706 and Iudgements, 4941 which x834 ye shal obserue 8104 z8799 to do, 6213 z8800 in the land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 God 430 of thy fathers 1 giueth 5414 z8804 thee to possesse 3423 z8800 it, all x3605 the dayes 3117 that x834 yee x859 liue 2416 vpon x5921 the earth. 127

 12:2 Yee shall vtterly 6 z8763 destroy 6 z8762 x853 all x3605 the places, 4725 wherein x834 x8033 the nations 1471 which 834 x853 yee x859 shall possesse, 3423 z8802 serued 5647 z8804 x853 their gods, 430 vpon x5921 the high 7311 z8802 mountaines, 2022 and vpon x5921 the hils, 1389 and vnder x8478 euery x3605 greene 7488 tree. 6086

 12:3 And you shall ouerthrow 5422 z8765 x853 their altars, 4196 and breake 7665 z8765 x853 their pillars, 4676 and burne 8313 z8799 their groues 842 with fire, 784 and you shall hew downe 1438 z8762 the grauen images 6456 of their gods, 430 and destroy 6 z8765 x853 the names 8034 of them out of x4480 that x1931 place. 4725

 12:4 Yee shall not x3808 doe x6213 so y6213 z8799 x3651 vnto the LORD 3068 your God. 430

 12:5 But x3588 x518 vnto x413 the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 shall chuse 977 z8799 out of all x4480 x3605 your tribes, 7626 to put 7760 z8800 x853 his name 8034 there, x8033 [euen] vnto his habitation 7933 shall yee seeke, 1875 z8799 and thither x8033 thou shalt come: 935 z8804

 12:6 And thither x8033 yee shall bring 935 z8689 your burnt offrings, 5930 and your sacrifices, 2077 and your tithes, 4643 and x853 heaue offrings 8641 of your hand, 3027 and your vowes, 5088 and your free wil offerings, 5071 and the firstlings 1062 of your heards, 1241 and of your flocks. 6629

 12:7 And there x8033 ye shall eate 398 z8804 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God, 430 and yee shall reioyce 8055 z8804 in all x3605 that you put 4916 your hand 3027 vnto, ye x859 and your housholds, 1004 wherein x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath blessed 1288 z8765 thee.

 12:8 Ye shall not x3808 do 6213 z8799 after all x3605 the things that x834 we x587 doe 6213 z8802 here x6311 this day, 3117 euery man 376 whatsoeuer x3605 [is] right 3477 in his owne eyes. 5869

 12:9 For x3588 yee are not x3808 as yet x5704 x6258 come 935 z8804 to x413 the rest, 4496 and to x413 the inheritance 5159 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 you.

 12:10 But when yee goe ouer 5674 z8804 x853 Iordan, 3383 and dwel 3427 z8804 in the land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 giueth you to inherite, 5157 z8688 x853 and when he giueth you rest 5117 z8689 from all x4480 x3605 your enemies 341 z8802 round about, 5439 x4480 so that ye dwell 3427 z8804 in safety: 983

 12:11 Then there shall be x1961 a place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 your God 430 shall choose 977 z8799 to cause his name 8034 to dwell 7931 z8763 there, x8033 thither x8033 shall ye bring 935 z8686 x853 all x3605 that x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you; your burnt offerings, 5930 and your sacrifices, 2077 your tithes, 4643 and the heaue offring 8641 of your hand, 3027 & all x3605 your choice 4005 vowes, 5088 which x834 ye vow 5087 z8799 vnto the LORD. 3068

 12:12 And yee shall reioyce 8055 z8804 before 6440 the LORD 3068 your God, 430 ye x859 and your sonnes 1121 and your daughters, 1323 and your men seruants, 5650 and your maid seruants, 519 and the Leuite 3881 that x834 is within your gates, 8179 forasmuch 3588 as hee hath no x369 part 2506 nor inheritance 5159 with x854 you.

 12:13 Take heed 8104 z8734 to thy selfe, that x6435 thou offer 5927 z8686 not thy burnt offerings 5930 in euery x3605 place 4725 that x834 thou seest: 7200 z8799

 12:14 But x3588 x518 in the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 shal choose 977 z8799 in one 259 of thy tribes, 7626 there x8033 thou shalt offer 5927 z8686 thy burnt offerings, 5930 and there x8033 thou shalt do 6213 z8799 all x3605 that x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee.

 12:15 Notwithstanding, x7535 thou mayest kill 2076 z8799 and eate 398 z8804 flesh 1320 in all x3605 thy gates, 8179 whatsoeuer x3605 thy soule 5315 lusteth after, 185 according to the blessing 1293 of the LORD 3068 thy God 430 which x834 he hath giuen 5414 z8804 thee: the vncleane 2931 and the cleane 2889 may eate 398 z8799 thereof, as of the Roe bucke, 6643 and as of the Hart. 354

 12:16 Onely x7535 ye shall not x3808 eat 398 z8799 the blood: 1818 yee shall powre 8210 z8799 it vpon x5921 the earth 776 as water. 4325

 12:17 ¶ Thou mayest 3201 z8799 not x3808 eate 398 z8800 within thy gates 8179 the tithe 4643 of thy corne, 1715 or of thy wine, 8492 or of thy oyle, 3323 or the firstlings 1062 of thy heards, 1241 or of thy flocke, 6629 nor any x3605 of thy vowes 5088 which x834 thou vowest, 5087 z8799 nor thy free will offerings, 5071 or heaue offering 8641 of thine hand: 3027

 12:18 But x3588 x518 thou must eate 398 z8799 them before 6440 the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 in the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 shall choose, 977 z8799 thou x859 and thy sonne, 1121 and thy daughter, 1323 and thy man seruant, 5650 and thy maid seruant, 519 and the Leuite 3881 that x834 is within thy gates: 8179 and thou shalt reioyce 8055 z8804 before 6440 the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 in all x3605 that thou puttest 4916 thine hands 3027 vnto.

 12:19 Take heed 8104 z8734 to thy selfe, that thou forsake y5800 z8799 not x6435 x5800 x853 the Leuite, 3881 as long as thou liuest 3117 x3605 vpon x5921 the earth. 127

 12:20 ¶ When x3588 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 shall enlarge 7337 z8686 x853 thy border, 1366 as x834 hee hath promised 1696 z8765 thee, and thou shalt say, 559 z8804 I will eate 398 z8799 flesh 1320 (because x3588 thy soule 5315 longeth 183 z8762 to eat 398 z8800 flesh) 1320 thou mayest eat 398 z8799 flesh 1320 whatsoeuer x3605 thy soule 5315 lusteth after. 185

 12:21 If x3588 the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath chosen 977 z8799 to put 7760 z8800 his Name 8034 there, x8033 be too farre 7368 z8799 from x4480 thee, then thou shalt kill 2076 z8804 of thy herd 1241 x4480 and of thy flocke, 6629 x4480 which x834 the LORD 3068 hath giuen 5414 z8804 thee, as x834 I haue commaunded 6680 z8765 thee, and thou shalt eate 398 z8804 in thy gates, 8179 whatsoeuer x3605 thy soule 5315 lusteth after. 185

 12:22 Euen x389 as x834 x853 the Roe bucke 6643 and the Hart 354 is eaten, 398 z8735 so x3651 thou shalt eate 398 z8799 them: the vncleane 2931 and the cleane 2889 shall eate 398 z8799 of them alike. 3162

 12:23 Onely x7535 be sure 2388 z8798 that thou eate 398 z8800 not x1115 the blood: 1818 for x3588 the blood 1818 is the life, 5315 and thou mayest not x3808 eate 398 z8799 the life 5315 with x5973 the flesh. 1320

 12:24 Thou shalt not x3808 eate 398 z8799 it; thou shalt powre 8210 z8799 it vpon x5921 the earth 776 as water. 4325

 12:25 Thou shalt not x3808 eate 398 z8799 it, that x4616 it may goe well 3190 z8799 with thee, and with thy children 1121 after 310 thee, when x3588 thou shalt doe 6213 z8799 that which [is] right 3477 in the sight 5869 of the LORD. 3068

 12:26 Onely x7535 thy holy things 6944 which x834 thou hast, x1961 and thy vowes, 5088 thou shalt take, 5375 z8799 and goe 935 z8804 vnto x413 the place 4725 which x834 the LORD 3068 shall chuse. 977 z8799

 12:27 And thou shalt offer 6213 z8804 thy burnt offerings, 5930 the flesh 1320 and the blood, 1818 vpon x5921 the altar 4196 of the LORD 3068 thy God: 430 and the blood 1818 of thy sacrifices 2077 shall be powred out 8210 z8735 vpon x5921 the altar 4196 of the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 and thou shalt eat 398 z8799 the flesh. 1320

 12:28 Obserue 8104 z8798 & heare 8085 z8804 x853 all x3605 these x428 words 1697 which x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 thee, that x4616 it may go well 3190 z8799 with thee, and with thy children 1121 after 310 thee for y5704 euer, 5769 x5704 when x3588 thou doest 6213 z8799 that which is good 2896 and right 3477 in the sight 5869 of the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 12:29 ¶ When x3588 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 shall cut off 3772 z8686 x853 the nations 1471 from before 6440 x4480 thee, whither x834 x8033 thou x859 goest 935 z8802 to possesse 3423 z8800 them, and thou succeedest 3423 z8804 them, and dwellest 3427 z8804 in their land: 776

 12:30 Take heede 8104 z8734 to thy selfe that x6435 thou be not snared 5367 z8735 by following 310 them, after y310 that x310 they be destroyed 8045 z8736 from before 6440 x4480 thee, and that x6435 thou enquire 1875 z8799 not after their gods, 430 saying, 559 z8800 How x349 did these x428 nations 1471 serue 5647 z8799 x853 their gods? 430 euen so x3651 will I x589 doe 6213 z8799 likewise. 1571

 12:31 Thou shalt not x3808 doe 6213 z8799 so x3651 vnto the LORD 3068 thy God: 430 for x3588 euery x3605 abomination 8441 to the LORD 3068 which x834 hee hateth, 8130 z8804 haue they done 6213 z8804 vnto their gods: 430 for x3588 euen x1571 x853 their sonnes 1121 and their daughters 1323 they haue burnt 8313 z8799 in the fire 784 to their gods. 430

 12:32 x853 What thing y1697 soeuer x3605 x1697 x834 I x595 command 6680 z8764 you, obserue 8104 z8799 to doe 6213 z8800 it: thou shalt not x3808 adde 3254 z8686 thereto, x5921 nor x3808 diminish 1639 z8799 from x4480 it.
