Deuteronomie 25

1 Stripes must not exceed forty. 4 The ox is not to be muzzled. 5 Of raising seed unto a brother. 11 Of the immodest woman. 13 Of unjust weights. 17 The memory of Amalek is to be blotted out.

 25:1 ¶ If x3588 there bee x1961 a controuersie 7379 betweene x996 men, y582 x376 and they come 5066 z8738 vnto x413 iudgment, 4941 that [the Iudges] may iudge 8199 z8804 them, then they shall iustifie 6663 z8689 x853 the righteous, 6662 and condemne 7561 z8689 x853 the wicked. 7563

 25:2 And it shall be, x1961 if x518 the wicked x7563 man y7563 be worthy y1121 to be beaten, 5221 z8687 x1121 that the Iudge 8199 z8802 shall cause him to lie downe, 5307 z8689 and to bee beaten 5221 z8689 before his face, 6440 according y1767 to x1767 his fault, 7564 by a certaine number. 4557

 25:3 Fourtie 705 stripes y5221 z8686 he may giue x5221 him, and not x3808 exceed: 3254 z8686 lest x6435 [if] he should exceede, 3254 z8686 and beate 5221 z8687 him aboue x5921 these, x428 with many 7227 stripes, 4347 then thy brother 251 should seeme vile 7034 z8738 y5869 vnto x5869 thee.

 25:4 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 mussell 2629 z8799 the oxe 7794 when he treadeth out y1778 z8800 x1758 [the corne].

 25:5 ¶ If x3588 brethren 251 dwell 3427 z8799 together, 3162 and one 259 of x4480 them die, 4191 z8804 and haue no x369 child, 1121 the wife 802 of the dead 4191 z8801 shall not x3808 marrie x1961 without, 2351 vnto a stranger: 376 2114 z8801 her husbands brother 2993 shall go in 935 z8799 vnto x5921 her, and take 3947 z8804 her to him to wife, 802 and performe the duetie of an husbands brother 2992 z8762 vnto her.

 25:6 And it shall be, x1961 that the first borne 1060 which x834 she beareth, 3205 z8799 shall succeede 6965 z8799 in x5921 the name 8034 of his brother 251 which is dead, 4191 z8801 that his name 8034 be not x3808 put out 4229 z8735 of Israel. 3478 x4480

 25:7 And if x518 the man 376 like 2654 z8799 not x3808 to take 3947 z8800 x853 his brothers wife, 2994 then let his brothers wife 2994 go vp 5927 z8804 to the gate, 8179 vnto x413 the Elders, 2205 and say, 559 z8804 My husbands brother 2993 refuseth 3985 z8765 to raise vp 6965 z8687 vnto his brother 251 a name 8034 in Israel: 3478 he will 14 z8804 not x3808 performe the dutie of my husbands brother. 2992 z8763

 25:8 Then the Elders 2205 of his citie 5892 shall call 7121 z8804 him and speake 1696 z8765 vnto x413 him: and if he stand 5975 z8804 [to it], and say, 559 z8804 I like 2654 z8804 not x3808 to take 3947 z8800 her:

 25:9 Then shal his brothers wife 2994 come 5066 z8738 vnto x413 him in the presence 5869 of the Elders, 2205 and loose 2502 z8804 his shooe 5275 from off x4480 x5921 his foote, 7272 and spit 3417 z8804 in his face, 6440 and shall answere, 6030 z8804 and say, 559 z8804 So x3602 shall it bee done 6213 z8735 vnto that man 376 that x834 will not x3808 build vp 1129 z8799 x853 his brothers 251 house. 1004

 25:10 And his name 8034 shall bee called 7121 z8738 in Israel, 3478 the house 1004 of him that hath his shooe 5275 loosed. 2502 z8803

 25:11 ¶ When x3588 men y582 x376 striue 5327 z8735 together 3162 one x376 with another, 251 y376 and the wife 802 of the one 259 draweth neere, 7126 z8804 for to deliuer 5337 z8687 x853 her husband 376 out of the hand 3027 x4480 of him that smiteth 5221 z8688 him, and putteth foorth 7971 z8804 her hand 3027 and taketh 2388 z8689 him by the secrets: 4016

 25:12 Then thou shalt cut off 7112 z8804 x853 her hand, 3709 thine eye 5869 shall not x3808 pitie 2347 z8799 [her].

 25:13 ¶ Thou shalt not x3808 haue x1961 in thy bagge 3599 diuers weights, 68 a great, 1419 and a small. 6996

 25:14 Thou shalt not x3808 haue x1961 in thine house 1004 diuers measures, 374 a great, 1419 and a small. 6996

 25:15 [But] thou shalt haue x1961 a perfect 8003 and iust 6664 weight, 68 a perfect 8003 and iust 6664 measure 374 shalt thou haue: x1961 that x4616 thy dayes 3117 may bee lengthened 748 z8686 in x5921 the land 127 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee.

 25:16 For x3588 all x3605 that doe 6213 z8802 such things, 428 [and] all x3605 that doe 6213 z8802 vnrighteously, 5766 [are] an abomination 8441 vnto the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 25:17 ¶ Remember 2142 z8800 x853 what x834 Amalek 6002 did 6213 z8804 vnto thee by the way, 1870 when ye were come foorth 3318 z8800 out of Egypt: 4714 x4480

 25:18 How x834 he met 7136 z8804 thee by the way, 1870 and smote the hindmost 2179 z8762 of thee, [euen] all x3605 that were feeble 2826 z8737 behinde 310 thee, when thou x859 [wast] faint 5889 and weary; 3023 and he feared y3373 x3372 not x3808 God. 430

 25:19 Therefore it shall bee x1961 when the LORD 3068 thy God 430 hath giuen thee rest 5117 z8687 from all x4480 x3605 thine enemies 341 z8802 round about, 5439 x4480 in the land 776 which x834 the LORD 3068 thy God 430 giueth 5414 z8802 thee for an inheritance 5159 to possesse 3423 z8800 it; that thou shalt blot out 4229 z8799 x853 the remembrance 2143 of Amalek 6002 from vnder x4480 x8478 heauen: 8064 thou shalt not x3808 forget 7911 z8799 it.
