Ezekiel 6

1 The judgment of Israel for their idolatry. 8 A remnant shall be blessed. 11 The faithful are exhorted to lament their calamities.

 6:1 ¶ And the worde 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 vnto x413 mee, saying, 559 z8800

 6:2 Sonne 1121 of man, 120 set 7760 z8798 thy face 6440 towardes x413 the mountaines 2022 of Israel, 3478 and prophecie 5012 z8734 against x413 them,

 6:3 And say, 559 z8804 Ye mountaines 2022 of Israel, 3478 Heare 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD 3069 to the mountaines 2022 and to the hilles, 1389 to the riuers 650 and to the valleys, 1516 Behold, x2009 I, [euen] I x589 will bring 935 z8688 a sword 2719 vpon x5921 you, and I will destroy 6 z8765 your high places. 1116

 6:4 And your altars 4196 shalbe desolate, 8074 z8738 and your images 2553 shall be broken: 7665 z8738 and I will cast downe 5307 z8689 your slaine 2491 men before 6440 your idoles. 1544

 6:5 And I will lay 5414 z8804 x853 the dead carkeises 6297 of the children 1121 of Israel 3478 before 6440 their idoles, 1544 and I will scatter 2219 z8765 x853 your bones 6106 round about 5439 your altars. 4196

 6:6 In all x3605 your dwelling places 4186 the cities 5892 shall be laid waste, 2717 z8799 and the high places 1116 shalbe desolate, 3456 z8799 that x4616 your altars 4196 may be laid waste 2717 z8799 and made desolate, 816 z8799 and your idols 1544 may be broken 7665 z8738 and cease, 7673 z8738 and your images 2553 may bee cut downe, 1438 z8738 and your workes 4639 may be abolished. 4229 z8738

 6:7 And the slaine 2491 shall fall 5307 z8804 in the midst 8432 of you, and ye shall knowe 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068

 6:8 ¶ Yet will I leaue a remnant, 3498 z8689 that he may haue x1961 [some], that shall escape 6412 the sword 2719 among the nations, 1471 when ye shalbe scattered 2219 z8736 through the countreys. 776

 6:9 And they that escape 6412 of you shall remember 2142 z8804 me among the nations, 1471 whither x834 x8033 they shalbe caried captiues, 7617 z8738 because x834 I am broken 7665 z8738 with x854 their whorish 2181 z8802 heart 3820 which x834 hath departed 5493 z8804 from x4480 x5921 me, and with x854 their eyes 5869 which goe a whoring 2181 z8802 after 310 their idoles: 1544 and they shall loathe 6962 z8738 themselues 6440 for x413 the euils 7451 which x834 they haue committed 6213 z8804 in all x3605 their abominations. 8441

 6:10 And they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 [and that] I haue not x3808 said 1696 z8765 in vaine, 2600 x413 that I would doe 6213 z8800 this x2063 euill 7451 vnto them.

 6:11 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Smite 5221 z8685 with thine hand, 3709 and stampe 7554 z8798 with thy foot, 7272 and say, 559 z8798 Alas, 253 for x413 all x3605 the euill 7451 abominations 8441 of the house 1004 of Israel: 3478 for x834 they shall fall 5307 z8799 by the sword, 2719 by the famine, 7458 and by the pestilence. 1698

 6:12 He that is farre off 7350 shall die 4191 z8799 of the pestilence, 1698 and he that is neere 7138 shall fall 5307 z8799 by the sword, 2719 and hee that remaineth 7604 z8737 and is besieged, 5341 z8803 shall die 4191 z8799 by the famine: 7458 thus will I accomplish 3615 z8765 my furie 2534 vpon them.

 6:13 Then shal ye know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD, 3068 when their slaine 2491 men shalbe x1961 among 8432 their idoles 1544 round about 5439 their altars, 4196 vpon x413 euery x3605 high 7311 z8802 hill 1389 in all x3605 the tops 7218 of the mountaines, 2022 and vnder x8478 euery x3605 greene 7488 tree, 6086 and vnder x8478 euery x3605 thicke 5687 oke, 424 the place 4725 where x834 x8033 they did offer 5414 z8804 sweet 5207 sauour 7381 to all x3605 their idoles. 1544

 6:14 So will I stretch out 5186 z8804 x853 my hand 3027 vpon x5921 them, and make 5414 z8804 x853 the land 776 desolate, 8077 yea more desolate 4923 then the wildernesse 4057 x4480 towards Diblath, 1689 in all x3605 their habitations, 4186 and they shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068
