Ezekiel 40

1 The time, manner, and end of the vision. 6 The description of the east gate, 20 of the north gate, 24 of the south gate, 32 of the east gate, 35 and of the north gate. 39 Eight tables. 44 The chambers. 48 The porch of the house.

 40:1 ¶ In the fiue 2568 and twentieth 6242 yeere 8141 of our captiuitie, 1546 in the beginning 7218 of the yere, 8141 in the tenth 6218 day of the moneth, 2320 in the fourteenth 702 6240 yeere 8141 after 310 that x834 the citie 5892 was smitten, 5221 z8717 in the selfe same 6106 x2088 day, 3117 the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was x1961 vpon x5921 mee, and brought 935 z8686 me thither. x8033

 40:2 In the visions 4759 of God 430 brought 935 z8689 he me into x413 the land 776 of Israel, 3478 and set 5117 z8686 mee vpon x413 a very 3966 high 1364 mountaine, 2022 by x5921 which was as the frame 4011 of a citie 5892 on the South. 5045 x4480

 40:3 And he brought 935 z8686 mee thither, x8033 and behold, x2009 there was a man, 376 whose appearance 4758 was like the appearance 4758 of brasse, 5178 with a line 6616 of flaxe 6593 in his hand, 3027 & a measuring 4060 reed; 7070 and he x1931 stood 5975 z8802 in the gate. 8179

 40:4 And the man 376 saide 1696 z8762 vnto x413 mee; Sonne 1121 of man, 120 behold 7200 z8798 with thine eyes, 5869 and heare 8085 z8798 with thine eares, 241 & set 7760 z8798 thine heart 3820 vpon all x3605 that x834 I x589 shall shew 7200 z8688 thee: for x3588 to the intent y4616 that x4616 I might shew 7200 z8687 them vnto thee, art thou brought 935 z8717 hither: x2008 declare 5046 z8685 x853 all x3605 that x834 thou x859 seest, 7200 z8802 to the house 1004 of Israel. 3478

 40:5 And behold x2009 a wall 2346 on the outside 2351 x4480 of the house 1004 round about: 5439 and in the mans 376 hand 3027 a measuring 4060 reed 7070 of sixe 8337 cubites 520 long, by the cubite, 520 and an hand breadth: 2948 so hee measured 4058 z8799 x853 the breadth 7341 of the building, 1146 one 259 reed, 7070 and the height 6967 one 259 reed. 7070

 40:6 ¶ Then came 935 z8799 hee vnto x413 the gate 8179 which x834 looketh 6440 toward 1870 the East, 6921 and went vp 5927 z8799 the staires 4609 thereof, and measured 4058 z8799 x853 the threshold 5592 of the gate, 8179 which was one 259 reed 7070 broad, 7341 and the other 259 threshold 5592 of the gate, which was one 259 reed 7070 broad. 7341

 40:7 And euery little chamber 8372 was one 259 reed 7070 long, 753 and one 259 reed 7070 broad, 7341 and betweene x996 the litle chambers 8372 were fiue 2568 cubites, 520 & the threshold 5592 of the gate, 8179 by 681 x4480 the porch 197 of the gate 8179 within 1004 was one 259 reed. 7070

 40:8 He measured 4058 z8799 also x853 the porch 197 of the gate 8179 within, 1004 one 259 reed. 7070

 40:9 Then measured 4058 z8799 hee x853 the porch 197 of the gate, 8179 eight 8083 cubites, 520 and the postes 352 thereof two 8147 cubits, 520 and the porch 197 of the gate 8179 was inward. 1004

 40:10 And the litle chambers 8372 of the gate 8179 Eastward, 1870 6921 were three 7969 on this side, 6311 x4480 and three 7969 on that side, 6311 x4480 they three 7969 were of one 259 measure, 4060 and the postes 352 had one 259 measure 4060 on this side, x4480 x6311 and on that side. x4480 x6311

 40:11 And hee measured 4058 z8799 x853 the breadth 7341 of the entrie 6607 of the gate, 8179 ten 6235 cubits, 520 and the length 753 of the gate, 8179 thirteene 7969 6240 cubites. 520

 40:12 The space 1366 also before 6440 the litle chambers 8372 was one 259 cubite 520 on this side, and the space 1366 was one x259 cubite 520 on that side, x4480 x6311 and the litle chambers 8372 were sixe 8337 cubites 520 on this side, x4480 x6311 and sixe 8337 cubits 520 on that side. x4480 x6311

 40:13 Hee measured 4058 z8799 then x853 the gate 8179 from the roofe 1406 x4480 of the one litle chamber 8372 to the roofe 1406 of another: the breadth 7341 was fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubits, 520 doore 6607 against x5048 doore. 6607

 40:14 He made 6213 z8799 also x853 postes 352 of threescore 8346 cubites, 520 euen vnto x413 the poste 352 of the court 2691 round about 5439 the gate. 8179

 40:15 And from x5921 the face 6440 of the gate 8179 of the entrance, 2978 vnto x5921 the face 6440 of the porch 197 of the inner 6442 gate, 8179 were fiftie 2572 cubites. 520

 40:16 And there were narrow 331 z8801 windows 2474 to x413 the litle chambers, 8372 and to x413 their posts 352 within 6441 the gate 8179 round about, 5439 and likewise x3651 to the arches: 361 and windowes 2474 were round about 5439 inward: 6441 and vpon x413 ech post 352 were palme-trees. 8561

 40:17 Then brought 935 z8686 he me into x413 the outward 2435 court, 2691 and loe x2009 there were chambers, 3957 and a pauement, 7531 made 6213 z8803 for the court 2691 round about: 5439 thirtie 7970 chambers 3957 were vpon x413 the pauement. 7531

 40:18 And the pauement 7531 by x413 the side 3802 of the gates 8179 ouer against 5980 the length 753 of the gates, 8179 was the lower 8481 pauement. 7531

 40:19 Then hee measured 4058 z8799 the breadth 7341 from the forefront 6440 x4480 of the lower 8481 gate, 8179 vnto the forefront 6440 of the inner 6442 court 2691 without, 2351 x4480 an hundred 3967 cubits 520 Eastward 6921 and Northward. 6828

 40:20 ¶ And the gate 8179 of the outward 2435 court, 2691 that x834 looked 6440 toward 1870 the North, 6828 he measured 4058 z8804 the length 753 thereof, and the breadth 7341 thereof.

 40:21 And the little chambers 8372 thereof [were] three 7969 on this side, x4480 x6311 and three 7969 on that side, x4480 x6311 and the postes 352 thereof, and the arches 361 thereof were x1961 after the measure 4060 of the first 7223 gate: 8179 the length 753 thereof [was] fiftie 2572 cubites, 520 and the breadth 7341 fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubites. 520

 40:22 And their windowes, 2474 and their arches, 361 and their palme trees, 8561 [were] after the measure 4060 of the gate 8179 that x834 looketh 6440 towards 1870 the East, 6921 and they went vp 5927 z8799 vnto it by seuen 7651 steps, 4609 and the arches 361 thereof [were] before 6440 them.

 40:23 And the gate 8179 of the inner 6442 court 2691 [was] ouer against x5048 the gate 8179 toward the North 6828 and toward the East, 6921 and hee measured 4058 z8799 from gate 8179 x4480 to x413 gate 8179 an hundreth 3967 cubites. 520

 40:24 ¶ After that hee brought y3212 z8686 x1980 me toward 1870 the South, 1864 and behold x2009 a gate 8179 toward 1870 the South, 1864 and he measured 4058 z8804 the postes 352 thereof, and the arches 361 thereof according to these x428 measures. 4060

 40:25 And [there were] windowes 2474 in it, and in the arches 361 thereof round about, 5439 like those x428 windowes, 2474 the length 753 [was] fiftie 2572 cubites, 520 and the breadth 7341 fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubites. 520

 40:26 And [there were] seuen 7651 steps 4609 to goe vp 5930 to it, and the arches 361 thereof [were] before 6440 them, and it had palme trees, 8561 one 259 on this side, x4480 x6311 and another 259 on that side x4480 x6311 vpon x413 the postes 352 thereof.

 40:27 And [there was] a gate 8179 in the inner 6442 court 2691 toward 1870 the South, 1864 and he measured 4058 z8799 from gate 8179 x4480 to x413 gate 8179 toward 1870 the South 1864 an hundred 3967 cubites. 520

 40:28 And hee brought 935 z8686 me to x413 the inner 6442 court 2691 by the South 1864 gate, 8179 and he measured 4058 z8799 x853 the South 1864 gate 8179 according to these x428 measures, 4060

 40:29 And the little chambers 8372 thereof, and the postes 352 thereof, and the arches 361 thereof according to these x428 measures, 4060 and [there were] windowes 2474 in it, and in the arches 361 thereof round about: 5439 [it was] fiftie 2572 cubites 520 long, 753 and fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubites 520 broad. 7341

 40:30 And the arches 361 round about 5439 [were] fiue 2568 and twenty 6242 cubits 520 long, 753 and fiue 2568 cubites 520 broad. 7341

 40:31 And the arches 361 thereof [were] toward x413 the vtter 2435 court, 2691 and palme trees 8561 [were] vpon x413 the postes 352 thereof, and the going vp 4608 to it [had] eight 8083 steps. 4609

 40:32 ¶ And hee brought 935 z8686 me into x413 the inner 6442 court 2691 toward 1870 the East, 6921 and hee measured 4058 z8799 x853 the gate 8179 according to these x428 measures. 4060

 40:33 And the little chambers 8372 thereof, and the postes 352 thereof, and the arches 361 thereof [were] according to these x428 measures, 4060 and [there were] windowes 2474 therein, and in the arches 361 thereof round about, 5439 [it was] fiftie 2572 cubites 520 long, 753 and fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubits 520 broad. 7341

 40:34 And the arches 361 thereof [were] toward the outward 2435 court, 2691 and palme trees 8561 [were] vpon x413 the postes 352 thereof on this side, x4480 x6311 and on that side, x4480 x6311 and the going vp 4608 to it [had] eight 8083 steps. 4609

 40:35 ¶ And hee brought 935 z8686 me to x413 the North 6828 gate, 8179 and measured 4058 z8804 [it] according to these x428 measures. 4060

 40:36 The little chambers 8372 thereof, the postes 352 thereof, and the arches 361 thereof and the windowes 2474 to it round about: 5439 the length 753 [was] fiftie 2572 cubites, 520 and the breadth 7341 fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 cubites. 520

 40:37 And the postes 352 thereof [were] toward the vtter 2435 court, 2691 and palme trees 8561 [were] vpon x413 the posts 352 thereof on this side, x4480 x6311 and on that side, x4480 x6311 and the going vp 4608 to it [had] eight 8083 steps. 4609

 40:38 And the chambers, 3957 and the entries 6607 thereof [were] by the postes 352 of the gates, 8179 where x8033 they washed 1740 z8686 x853 the burnt offering. 5930

 40:39 ¶ And in the porch 197 of the gate 8179 [were] two 8147 tables 7979 on this side, x4480 x6311 and two x8147 tables 7979 on that side, x4480 x6311 to slay 7819 z8800 thereon x413 the burnt offering, 5930 and the sinne offering, 2403 and the trespasse offering. 817

 40:40 And at x413 the side 3802 without, 2351 x4480 as one goeth vp 5927 z8802 to the entry 6607 of the North 6828 gate, 8179 [were] two 8147 tables, 7979 and on x413 the other 312 side, 3802 which x834 [was] at the porch 197 of the gate, 8179 [were] two 8147 tables. 7979

 40:41 Foure 702 tables 7979 [were] on this side, x4480 x6311 and foure 702 tables 7979 on that side, x4480 x6311 by the side 3802 of the gate; 8179 eight 8083 tables, 7979 whereupon x413 they slew 7819 z8799 [their sacrifices].

 40:42 And the foure 702 tables 7979 [were] of hewen 1496 stone 68 for the burnt offering, 5930 of a x259 cubite 520 and an x259 halfe 2677 long, 753 and a cubite 520 & a halfe 2677 broad, 7341 and one 259 cubit 520 high: 1363 whereupon x413 also they laide y3240 z8686 x5117 x853 the instruments 3627 wherewith x834 they slewe 7819 z8799 x853 the burnt offering 5930 and the sacrifice. 2077

 40:43 And within 1004 [were] hooks, 8240 an 259 hand y2948 broad, x2948 fastened 3559 z8716 round about, 5439 and vpon x413 the tables 7979 [was] the flesh 1320 of the offering. 7133

 40:44 ¶ And without 2351 x4480 the inner 6442 gate 8179 [were] the chambers 3957 of the singers 7891 z8802 in the inner 6442 court, 2691 which x834 [was] at x413 the side 3802 of the North 6828 gate: 8179 and their prospect 6440 [was] toward 1870 the South, 1864 one 259 at x413 the side 3802 of the East 6921 gate, 8179 hauing the prospect 6440 toward 1870 the North. 6828

 40:45 And hee said 1696 z8762 vnto x413 me; This 2090 chamber 3957 whose x834 prospect 6440 [is] toward 1870 the South, 1864 [is] for the priests, 3548 the keepers 8104 z8802 of the charge 4931 of the house. 1004

 40:46 And the chamber 3957 whose x834 prospect 6440 [is] toward 1870 the North, 6828 [is] for the priests 3548 the keepers 8104 z8802 of the charge 4931 of the altar: 4196 these x1992 [are] the sonnes 1121 of Zadok 6659 among the sonnes 1121 x4480 of Leui, 3878 which come neere 7131 to x413 the LORD 3068 to minister 8334 z8763 vnto him.

 40:47 So he measured 4058 z8799 x853 the court, 2691 an hundreth 3967 cubites 520 long, 753 and an hundreth 3967 cubites 520 broad 7341 foure square, 7251 z8794 and the altar 4196 [that was] before 6440 the house. 1004

 40:48 ¶ And he brought 935 z8686 me to x413 the porch 197 of the house, 1004 and measured 4058 z8799 [each] post 352 of the porch, 197 fiue 2568 cubites 520 on this side, x4480 x6311 and fiue 2568 cubites 520 on that side: x4480 x6311 and the bredth 7341 of the gate 8179 [was] three 7969 cubites 520 on this side, x4480 x6311 and three 7969 cubites 520 on that side. x4480 x6311

 40:49 The length 753 of the porch 197 [was] twentie 6242 cubites, 520 and the bredth 7341 eleuen 6249 6240 cubites, 520 and [he brought me] by the steps, 4609 whereby x834 they went vp 5927 z8799 to x413 it, and [there were] pillars 5982 by x413 the posts, 352 one 259 on this side, x4480 x6311 and another 259 on that side. x4480 x6311
