Ezekiel 11

1 The presumption of the princes. 4 Their sin and judgment. 13 Ezekiel's complaining, God sheweth him his purpose in saving a remnant, 21 and punishing the wicked. 22 The glory of God leaveth the city. 24 Ezekiel is returned to the captivity.

 11:1 ¶ Moreouer the Spirit 7307 lift me vp, 5375 z8799 x853 and brought 935 z8686 me vnto x413 the East 6931 gate 8179 of the LORDS 3068 house, 1004 which looketh 6437 z8802 Eastward: 6921 and behold x2009 at the doore 6607 of the gate 8179 fiue 2568 and twenty 6242 men; 376 among 8432 whom I saw 7200 z8799 x853 Iaazaniah 2970 the sonne 1121 of Azur, 5809 and Pelatiah 6410 the sonne 1121 of Benaiah, 1141 Princes 8269 of the people. 5971

 11:2 Then said 559 z8799 he vnto x413 me; Sonne 1121 of man, 120 these x428 [are] the men y582 x376 that deuise 2803 z8802 mischiefe, 205 & giue 3289 z8802 wicked 7451 counsel 6098 in this x2063 city. 5892

 11:3 Which say, 559 z8802 It [is] not x3808 neere, 7138 let vs build 1129 z8800 houses: 1004 this x1931 [citie is] the caldron, 5518 and we x587 be the flesh. 1320

 11:4 ¶ Therefore x3651 prophecie 5012 z8734 against x5921 them, prophecie, 5012 z8734 O sonne 1121 of man. 120

 11:5 And the Spirit 7307 of the LORD 3068 fell 5307 z8799 vpon x5921 me, and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Speake, 559 z8798 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD; 3068 Thus x3651 haue ye said, 559 z8799 O house 1004 of Israel: 3478 for I x589 know 3045 z8804 the things that come 4609 into your minde, 7307 euery one [of them].

 11:6 Ye haue multiplyed 7235 z8689 your slaine 2491 in this x2063 citie, 5892 and yee haue filled 4390 z8765 the streetes 2351 thereof with the slaine. 2491

 11:7 Therefore x3651 thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Your slaine 2491 whom x834 ye haue laid 7760 z8804 in the middest 8432 of it, they x1992 [are] the flesh, 1320 and this x1931 [citie is] the cauldron: 5518 but I wil bring you foorth 3318 z8689 x853 out of the middest 8432 x4480 of it.

 11:8 Ye haue feared 3372 z8804 the sword, 2719 and I will bring 935 z8686 a sword 2719 vpon x5921 you, saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 11:9 And I will bring x3318 you out y3318 z8689 of the middest 8432 x4480 thereof, and deliuer 5414 z8804 you into the hands 3027 of strangers, 2114 z8801 and will execute 6213 z8804 iudgements 8201 among you.

 11:10 Yee shall fall 5307 z8799 by the sword, 2719 I will iudge 8199 z8799 you in x5921 the border 1366 of Israel, 3478 and ye shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD. 3068

 11:11 This x1931 [citie] shall not x3808 be x1961 your cauldron, 5518 neither shall ye x859 be x1961 the flesh 1320 in the middest 8432 thereof, [but] I will iudge 8199 z8799 you in x413 the border 1366 of Israel. 3478

 11:12 And ye shall know 3045 z8804 that x3588 I x589 [am] the LORD: 3068 for x834 yee haue not x3808 walked 1980 z8804 in my statutes, 2706 neither x3808 executed 6213 z8804 my iudgements, 4941 but haue done 6213 z8804 after the maners 4941 of the heathen 1471 that x834 [are] round about 5439 you.

 11:13 ¶ And it came to passe, x1961 when I prophecied, 5012 z8736 that Pelatiah 6410 the sonne 1121 of Benaiah 1141 died: 4191 z8804 then fell I downe 5307 z8799 vpon x5921 my face, 6440 and cried 2199 z8799 with a loud 1419 voice, 6963 and said; 559 z8799 Ah 162 Lord 136 GOD, 3069 wilt thou x859 make 6213 z8802 a full end 3617 x853 of the remnant 7611 of Israel? 3478

 11:14 Againe the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 vnto x413 me, saying; 559 z8800

 11:15 Sonne 1121 of man, 120 thy brethren, 251 [euen] thy brethren, 251 the men y582 x376 of thy kinred, 1353 and all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 wholly x3605 [are they], vnto whom x834 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Ierusalem 3389 haue sayd; 559 z8804 Get yee farre 7368 z8798 from x4480 x5921 the LORD: 3068 vnto vs is this x1931 land 776 giuen 5414 z8738 in possession. 4181

 11:16 Therefore x3651 say, 559 z8798 Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 Although x3588 I haue cast them farre off 7368 z8689 among the heathen, 1471 and although x3588 I haue scattered 6327 z8689 them among the countreys, 776 yet will I be x1961 to them as a little 4592 Sanctuarie 4720 in the countreys 776 where x834 x8033 they shall come. 935 z8804

 11:17 Therefore x3651 say, 559 z8798 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 I will euen gather 6908 z8765 you from x4480 the people, 5971 and assemble 622 z8804 you out of x4480 the countreys 776 where x834 ye haue beene scattered, 6327 z8738 and I will giue 5414 z8804 you x853 the land 127 of Israel. 3478

 11:18 And they shall come 935 z8804 thither, x8033 and they shall take away 5493 z8689 x853 all x3605 the detestable things 8251 thereof, and all x3605 the abominations 8441 thereof from x4480 thence.

 11:19 And I wil giue 5414 z8804 them one 259 heart, 3820 and I wil put 5414 z8799 a new 2319 spirit 7307 within 7130 you: and I will take 5493 z8689 the stonie 68 heart 3820 out of their flesh, 1320 x4480 and will giue 5414 z8804 them an heart 3820 of flesh, 1320

 11:20 That x4616 they may walke y3212 z8799 x1980 in my statutes, 2708 and keepe 8104 z8799 mine ordinances, 4941 and doe 6213 z8804 them: x853 and they shall be x1961 my people, 5971 and I x589 will be x1961 their God. 430

 11:21 But [as for them] whose heart 3820 walketh 1980 z8802 after x413 the heart 3820 of their detestable things, 8251 and their abominations, 8441 I wil recompense 5414 z8804 their way 1870 vpon their owne heads, 7218 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 11:22 ¶ Then did the Cherubims 3742 lift vp 5375 z8799 x853 their wings, 3671 and the wheeles 212 besides 5980 them, and the glory 3519 of the God 430 of Israel 3478 [was] ouer x5921 them aboue. 4605 x4480

 11:23 And the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 went vp 5927 z8799 from x4480 x5921 the middest 8432 of the citie, 5892 and stood 5975 z8799 vpon x5921 the mountaine, 2022 which x834 [is] on the East side 6924 x4480 of the citie. 5892

 11:24 ¶ Afterwards the spirit 7307 tooke me vp, 5375 z8804 and brought 935 z8686 me in vision 4758 by the spirit 7307 of God 430 into Caldea 3778 to x413 them of the captiuity: 1473 so the vision 4758 that x834 I had seene, 7200 z8804 went vp 5927 z8799 from x4480 x5921 me.

 11:25 Then I spake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 them of the captiuity, 1473 x853 all x3605 the things 1697 that x834 the LORD 3068 had shewed 7200 z8689 me.
