1, 23 The portions of the twelve tribes, 8 of the sanctuary, 15 of the city and suburbs, 21 and of the prince. 30 The dimensions and gates of the city.

 48:1 ¶ Now these x428 [are] the names 8034 of the Tribes, 7626 from the North 6828 end 7097 x4480 to x413 the coast 3027 of the way 1870 of Hathlon, 2855 as one goeth 935 z8800 to Hamath, 2574 Hazarenan, 2704 the border 1366 of Damascus 1834 Northward, 6828 to x413 ye coast 3027 of Hamath 2574 (for these are x1961 his sides 6285 East 6921 & West) 3220 [a 259 portion] for Dan. 1835

 48:2 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Dan, 1835 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West, 3220 6285 [a 259 portion] for Asher. 836

 48:8 ¶ And by x5921 the border 1366 of Iudah, 3063 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 shall be x1961 the offring 8641 which x834 they shall offer 7311 z8686 of fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 [reedes in] bredth, 7341 and [in] length 753 as one 259 of the [other] parts, 2506 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 and the Sanctuarie 4720 shall be x1961 in the midst 8432 of it.

 48:9 The oblation 8641 that x834 yee shall offer 7311 z8686 vnto the LORD, 3068 [shall be] of fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 in length, 753 and of ten 6235 thousand 505 in bredth. 7341

 48:10 And for them, x428 [euen] for the priests 3548 shall be x1961 this holy 6944 oblation, 8641 toward the North, 6828 fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 [in length], and toward the West 3220 ten 6235 thousand 505 in bredth, 7341 and toward the East 6921 ten 6235 thousand 505 in bredth, 7341 and toward the South 5045 fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 in length, 753 & the sanctuarie 4720 of the LORD 3068 shall be x1961 in the midst 8432 thereof.

 48:11 [It shall be] for the Priests 3548 that are sanctified, 6942 z8794 of the sonnes 1121 x4480 of Zadok, 6659 which x834 haue kept 8104 z8804 my charge, 4931 which x834 went not astray 8582 z8804 x3808 when the children 1121 of Israel 3478 went astray, 8582 z8800 as x834 the Leuites 3881 went astray. 8582 z8804

 48:12 And [this] oblation 8642 of the land 776 that is offred, 8641 x4480 shalbe x1961 vnto them a thing most y6944 holy 6944 by x413 the border 1366 of the Leuites. 3881

 48:13 And ouer against 5980 the border 1366 of the Priests, 3548 the Leuites 3881 [shall haue] fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 in length, 753 and tenne 6235 thousand 505 in bredth: 7341 all x3605 the length 753 [shalbe] fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand, 505 and the bredth 7341 tenne 6235 thousand. 505

 48:14 And they shall not x3808 sell 4376 z8799 of x4480 it, neither x3808 exchange, 4171 z8686 nor x3808 alienate 5674 z8686 z8675 z8799 the first fruits 7225 of the land: 776 for x3588 it [is] holy 6944 vnto the LORD. 3068

 48:15 ¶ And the fiue 2568 thousand 505 that are left 3498 z8737 in the breadth 7341 ouer against 6440 x5921 the fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand, 505 shall bee a prophane 2455 place for the citie, 5892 for dwelling, 4186 and for suburbs, 4054 and the citie 5892 shall be x1961 in the midst 8432 thereof.

 48:16 And these x428 [shall bee] the measures 4060 thereof, the North 6828 side 6285 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred, 3967 and the South 5045 side 6285 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred, 3967 and on the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 foure 702 thousand, 505 and fiue 2568 hundred, 3967 and the West 3220 side 6285 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 z8675 hundred. 3967

 48:17 And the suburbs 4054 of the city 5892 shall be x1961 toward the North 6828 two hundred 3967 and fiftie, 2572 and toward the South 5045 two hundred 3967 and fifty, 2572 and toward the East 6921 two hundred 3967 and fiftie, 2572 and toward the West 3220 two hundred 3967 and fiftie. 2572

 48:18 And the residue 3498 z8737 in length 753 ouer against 5980 the oblation 8641 of the holy 6944 portion, [shalbe] ten 6235 thousand 505 Eastward, 6921 and ten 6235 thousand 505 Westward: 3220 and it shall be x1961 ouer against 5980 the oblation 8641 of the holy 6944 portion, and the increase 8393 thereof shall bee x1961 for food 3899 vnto them that serue 5647 z8802 the citie. 5892

 48:19 And they that serue 5647 z8802 the citie, 5892 shall serue 5647 z8799 it out of all x4480 x3605 the tribes 7626 of Israel. 3478

 48:20 All x3605 the oblation 8641 [shall bee] fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand, 505 by fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand: 505 ye shall offer 7311 z8686 x853 the holy 6944 oblation 8641 foure square, 7243 with x413 the possession 272 of the citie. 5892

 48:21 ¶ And the residue 3498 z8737 [shall bee] for the prince 5387 on the one side, x4480 x2088 and on the other x4480 x2088 of the holy 6944 oblation, 8641 and of the possession 272 of the citie 5892 ouer against 6440 x413 the fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand, 505 of the oblation 8641 toward x5704 the East 6921 border, 1366 and Westward 3220 ouer against 6440 x5921 the fiue 2568 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 toward x5921 the West 3220 border, 1366 ouer against 5980 the portions 2506 for the prince, 5387 and it shall be x1961 the holy 6944 oblation, 8641 and the Sanctuarie 4720 of the house 1004 [shall be] in the middest 8432 thereof.

 48:22 Moreouer, from the possession 272 x4480 of the Leuites, 3881 and from the possession 272 x4480 of the citie, 5892 [being] in the midst 8432 of that which x834 is x1961 the princes, 5387 betweene x996 the border 1366 of Iudah, 3063 and the border 1366 of Beniamin, 1144 shall bee x1961 for the prince. 5387

 48:23 As for the rest 3499 of the tribes, 7626 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 Beniamin 1144 [shall haue] a 259 portion:

 48:24 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Beniamin, 1144 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 Simeon 8095 [shall haue a 259 portion]:

 48:25 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Simeon, 8095 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 Issachar 3485 [a 259 portion]:

 48:26 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Issachar, 3485 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 Zebulun 2074 [a 259 portion]:

 48:27 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Zebulun 2074 from the East 6921 side 6285 x4480 vnto x5704 the West 3220 side, 6285 Gad 1410 [a 259 portion]:

 48:28 And by x5921 the border 1366 of Gad, 1410 at x413 the South 5045 side 6285 Southward, 8486 the border 1366 shall be x1961 euen from Tamar, 8559 x4480 [vnto] the waters 4325 of strife 4808 z8677 y4809 [in] Kadesh, 6946 [and] to the riuer 5158 toward x5921 the great 1419 Sea. 3220

 48:29 This x2063 [is] the land 776 which x834 ye shal diuide y5307 z8686 by lot x5307 vnto the tribes 7626 of Israel 3478 for inheritance, 5159 x4480 and these x428 [are] their portions, 4256 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 48:30 ¶ And these x428 [are] the goings out 8444 of the citie, 5892 on the North 6828 side 6285 x4480 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred 3967 measures. 4060

 48:31 And the gates 8179 of the citie 5892 [shall bee] after x5921 the names 8034 of the tribes 7626 of Israel, 3478 three 7969 gates 8179 Northward, 6828 one 259 gate 8179 of Reuben, 7205 one 259 gate 8179 of Iudah, 3063 one 259 gate 8179 of Leui. 3878

 48:33 And at the South 5045 side 6285 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred 3967 measures, 4060 and three 7969 gates: 8179 one 259 gate 8179 of Simeon, 8095 one 259 gate 8179 of Issachar, 3485 one 259 gate 8179 of Zebulun. 2074

 48:34 At the West 3220 side 6285 foure 702 thousand 505 and fiue 2568 hundred, 3967 [with] their three 7969 gates: 8179 one 259 gate 8179 of Gad, 1410 one 259 gate 8179 of Asher, 836 one 259 gate 8179 of Naphtali. 5321
