Ezekiel 3

1 Ezekiel eateth the roll. 4 God encourageth him. 15 God sheweth him the rule of prophecy. 22 God shutteth and openeth the prophet's mouth.

 3:1 ¶ Moreouer he said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Sonne 1121 of man, 120 eate 398 z8798 x853 that x834 thou findest: 4672 z8799 eate 398 z8798 this x2063 x853 roule, 4039 and goe, y3212 z8798 x1980 speake 1696 z8761 vnto x413 the house 1004 of Israel. 3478

 3:2 So I opened 6605 z8799 x853 my mouth, 6310 and hee caused me to eate 398 z8686 x853 that x2063 roule. 4039

 3:3 And he said 559 z8799 vuto x413 mee; Sonne 1121 of man, 120 cause thy belly 990 to eate, 398 z8686 and fill 4390 z8762 thy bowels 4578 with x854 this x2063 roule 4039 that x834 I x589 giue 5414 z8802 x413 thee. Then did I eate 398 z8799 [it], and it was x1961 in my mouth 6310 as honie 1706 for sweetnesse. 4966

 3:4 ¶ And he said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Sonne 1121 of man, 120 goe, y3212 z8798 x1980 get 935 z8798 thee vnto x413 the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 and speake 1696 z8765 with my words 1697 vnto x413 them.

 3:5 For x3588 thou x859 [art] not x3808 sent 7971 z8803 to x413 a people 5971 of a strange 6012 speech, 8193 and of an hard 3515 language, 3956 [but] to x413 the house 1004 of Israel. 3478

 3:6 Not x3808 to x413 many 7227 people 5971 of a strange 6012 speech 8193 and of an hard 3515 language, 3956 whose x834 words 1697 thou canst not x3808 vnderstand: 8085 z8799 surely x518 x3808 had I sent 7971 z8804 thee to x413 them, they x1992 would haue hearkened 8085 z8799 vnto x413 thee:

 3:7 But the house 1004 of Israel 3478 will 14 z8799 not x3808 hearken 8085 z8800 vnto x413 thee; for x3588 they will 14 z8802 not x369 hearken 8085 z8800 vnto x413 me: for x3588 all x3605 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 are impudent 2389 4696 and hard hearted. 7186 3820

 3:8 Behold, x2009 I haue made 5414 z8804 x853 thy face 6440 strong 2389 against 5980 their faces, 6440 and x853 thy forehead 4696 strong 2389 against 5980 their foreheads. 4696

 3:9 As an adamant 8068 harder 2389 then flint 6864 x4480 haue I made 5414 z8804 thy forehead: 4696 feare 3372 z8799 them not, x3808 neither x3808 be dismayed 2865 z8735 at their lookes, 6440 x4480 though x3588 they x1992 [be] a rebellious 4805 house. 1004

 3:10 Moreouer he said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Sonne 1121 of man, 120 x853 all x3605 my words 1697 that x834 I shall speake 1696 z8762 vnto x413 thee, receiue 3947 z8798 in thine heart, 3824 and heare 8085 z8798 with thine eares. 241

 3:11 And goe, y3212 z8798 x1980 get 935 z8798 thee to x413 them of the captiuity, 1473 vnto 1121 x413 thy people, 5971 and speake 1696 z8765 vnto x413 them and tell 559 z8804 x413 them, Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 whether x518 they will heare, 8085 z8799 or whether x518 they will forbeare. 2308 z8799

 3:12 Then the spirit 7307 tooke me vp, 5375 z8799 and I heard 8085 z8799 behind 310 me a voyce 6963 of a great 1419 rushing, 7494 [saying] Blessed 1288 z8803 [be] the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 from his place. 4725 x4480

 3:13 [I heard] also the noise 6963 of the wings 3671 of the liuing creatures 2416 that touched 5401 z8688 one 802 another, 269 and the noise 6963 of the wheeles 212 ouer against 5980 them, and a noise 6963 of a great 1419 rushing. 7494

 3:14 So the spirit 7307 lifted me vp, 5375 z8804 and tooke me away, 3947 z8799 and I went y3212 z8799 x1980 in bitternesse, 4751 in the heate 2534 of my spirit, 7307 but the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was strong y2388 z8804 x2389 vpon x5921 mee.

 3:15 ¶ Then I came 935 z8799 to x413 them of the captiuity 1473 at Tel-abib, 8512 that dwelt 3427 z8802 by x413 the riuer 5104 of Chebar, 3529 and I sate 3427 z8799 where x8033 they x1992 sate, 3427 z8799 and remained 3427 z8799 there x8033 astonished 8074 z8688 among 8432 them seuen 7651 daies. 3117

 3:16 And it came to passe x1961 at the end 7097 x4480 of seuen 7651 dayes, 3117 that the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 vnto x413 me, saying; 559 z8800

 3:17 Sonne 1121 of man, 120 I haue made 5414 z8804 thee a watchman 6822 z8802 vnto the house 1004 of Israel: 3478 therefore heare 8085 z8804 the word 1697 at my mouth, 6310 x4480 & giue them warning 2094 z8689 x853 from x4480 me.

 3:18 When I say 559 z8800 vnto the wicked; 7563 Thou shalt surely y4191 z8800 die, 4191 z8799 and thou giuest him not warning, 2094 z8689 x3808 nor x3808 speakest 1696 z8765 to warne 2094 z8687 the wicked 7563 from his wicked 7563 way 1870 x4480 to saue his life; 2421 z8763 the same x1931 wicked 7563 man shall die 4191 z8799 in his iniquitie: 5771 but his blood 1818 will I require 1245 z8762 at thine hand. 3027 x4480

 3:19 Yet if x3588 thou x859 warne 2094 z8689 the wicked, 7563 and he turne 7725 z8804 not x3808 from his wickednesse, 7562 x4480 nor from his wicked 7563 way, 1870 x4480 he x1931 shall die 4191 z8799 in his iniquity, 5771 but thou x859 hast deliuered 5337 z8689 x853 thy soule. 5315

 3:20 Againe, y7725 z0 when a righteous 6662 man doth turne 7725 z8800 from his righteousnesse 6664 x4480 and commit 6213 z8804 iniquity, 5766 and I lay 5414 z8804 a stumbling blocke 4383 before 6440 him, he x1931 shall die: 4191 z8799 because x3588 thou hast not x3808 giuen him warning, 2094 z8689 he shall die 4191 z8799 in his sinne, 2403 and his righteousnesse 6666 which x834 he hath done 6213 z8804 shal not x3808 be remembred: 2142 z8735 but his blood 1818 will I require 1245 z8762 at thine hand. 3027 x4480

 3:21 Neuerthelesse if x3588 thou x859 warne 2094 z8689 the righteous 6662 man, that the righteous 6662 sinne 2398 z8800 not, x1115 and he x1931 doth not x3808 sinne; 2398 z8804 he shall surely y2421 z8800 liue, 2421 z8799 because x3588 he is warned: 2094 z8737 also thou x859 hast deliuered 5337 z8689 x853 thy soule. 5315

 3:22 ¶ And the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 was x1961 there x8033 vpon x5921 me, and he said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me; Arise, 6965 z8798 goe forth 3318 z8798 into x413 the plaine, 1237 and I will there x8033 talke 1696 z8762 with x854 thee.

 3:23 Then I arose 6965 z8799 and went forth 3318 z8799 into x413 the plaine, 1237 and behold, x2009 the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 stood 5975 z8802 there x8033 as the glory 3519 which x834 I saw 7200 z8804 by x5921 the riuer 5104 of Chebar, 3529 and I fell 5307 z8799 on x5921 my face. 6440

 3:24 Then the spirit 7307 entred 935 z8799 into me, and set 5975 z8686 me vpon x5921 my feet, 7272 and spake 1696 z8762 with x854 me, and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me, Goe 935 z8798 shut y5462 z8734 thy selfe x5462 within 8432 thine house. 1004

 3:25 But thou, x859 O sonne 1121 of man, 120 behold, x2009 they shall put 5414 z8804 bands 5688 vpon x5921 thee, and shall bind 631 z8804 thee with them, and thou shalt not x3808 goe out 3318 z8799 among 8432 them.

 3:26 And I will make thy tongue 3956 cleaue 1692 z8686 to x413 the roofe of thy mouth, 2441 that thou shalt be dumme 481 z8738 and shalt not x3808 be x1961 to them a reprouer: 376 3198 z8688 for x3588 they x1992 [are] a rebellious 4805 house. 1004

 3:27 But when I speake 1696 z8763 with 854 thee, I will open 6605 z8799 x853 thy mouth, 6310 and thou shalt say 559 z8804 vnto x413 them; Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 He that heareth, 8085 z8802 let him heare, 8085 z8799 and he that forbeareth, 2310 let him forbeare: 2308 z8799 for x3588 they x1992 [are] a rebellious 4805 house. 1004
