Ezekiel 44

1 The east gate assigned only to the prince. 4 The priests reproved for polluting of the sanctuary. 9 Idolaters uncapable of the priest's office. 15 The sons of Zadok are accepted thereto. 17 Ordinances for the priests.

 44:1 ¶ Then he brought me backe 7725 z8686 x853 the way 1870 of the gate 8179 of the outward 2435 Sanctuarie 4720 which looketh 6437 z8802 toward the East, 6921 and it x1931 [was] shut. 5462 z8803

 44:2 Then said 559 z8799 the LORD 3068 vnto x413 me, This x2088 gate 8179 shall be x1961 shut, 5462 z8803 it shall not x3808 be opened, 6605 z8735 and no x3808 man 376 shall enter y935 z8799 in x935 by it; because x3588 the LORD 3068 the God 430 of Israel 3478 hath entred y935 z8804 in x935 by it, therefore it shall be x1961 shut. 5462 z8803

 44:3 [It is] x853 for the Prince; 5387 the Prince, 5387 hee x1931 shall sit 3427 z8799 in it to eate 398 z8800 bread 3899 before 6440 the LORD: 3068 hee shall enter 935 z8799 by the way 1870 x4480 of the porch 197 of that gate, 8179 and shall goe out 3318 z8799 by the way 1870 x4480 of the same.

 44:4 ¶ Then brought 935 z8686 he me the way 1870 of the North 6828 gate 8179 before 6440 x413 the house, 1004 and I looked, 7200 z8799 and behold, x2009 the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 filled 4390 z8804 x853 the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 and I fell 5307 z8799 vpon x413 my face. 6440

 44:5 And the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 me; Sonne 1121 of man, 120 marke y7760 z8798 well, 3820 x7760 and behold 7200 z8798 with thine eyes, 5869 and heare 8085 z8798 with thine eares, 241 x853 all x3605 that x834 I x589 say 1696 z8764 vnto thee, concerning all x3605 the ordinances 2708 of the house 1004 of ehe LORD, 3068 and all x3605 the lawes 8451 thereof, and marke y7760 z8804 well 3820 x7760 the entring in 3996 of the house, 1004 with euery x3605 going foorth 4161 of the Sanctuary. 4720

 44:6 And thou shalt say 559 z8804 to x413 the rebellious, 4805 [euen] to x413 the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD; 3069 O yee house 1004 of Israel, 3478 let it suffice 7227 you, of x4480 all x3605 your abominations; 8441

 44:7 In that ye haue brought 935 z8687 into my Sanctuarie strangers 1121 5236 vncircumcised 6189 in heart, 3820 and vncircumcised 6189 in flesh, 1320 to be x1961 in my Sanctuarie 4720 to pollute 2490 z8763 it, [euen] x853 my House, 1004 when ye offer 7126 z8687 x853 my bread, 3899 the fat 2459 and the blood, 1818 and they haue broken 6565 z8686 x853 my Couenant, 1285 because y413 of x413 all x3605 your abominations. 8441

 44:8 And yee haue not x3808 kept 8104 z8804 the charge 4931 of mine holy things: 6944 but ye haue set 7760 z8799 keepers 8104 z8802 of my charge 4931 in my Sanctuarie 4720 for your selues.

 44:9 ¶ Thus x3541 sayth 559 z8804 the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 No x3808 x3605 stranger 1121 5236 vncircumcised 6189 in heart, 3820 nor vncircumcised 6189 in flesh, 1320 shall enter 935 z8799 into x413 my Sanctuarie, 4720 of any x3605 stranger x1121 x5236 that x834 [is] among 8432 the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

 44:10 And x3588 x518 the Leuites 3881 that x834 are gone away farre 7368 z8804 from x4480 x5921 me, when Israel 3478 went astray, 8582 z8800 which x834 went astray x8582 away y8582 z8804 from x4480 x5921 me after 310 their idoles, 1544 they shall euen beare 5375 z8804 their iniquitie. 5771

 44:11 Yet they shall be x1961 ministers 8334 z8764 in my Sanctuary, 4720 [hauing] charge 6486 at x413 the gates 8179 of the house, 1004 and ministring 8334 z8764 x853 to the house: 1004 they x1992 shall slay 7819 z8799 x853 the burnt offring, 5930 and the sacrifice 2077 for the people, 5971 and they x1992 shall stand 5975 z8799 before 6440 them to minister 8334 z8763 vnto them:

 44:12 Because x3282 x834 they ministred y8334 z8762 vnto x8334 x853 them before 6440 their idoles, 1544 and caused x1961 the house 1004 of Israel 3478 to fall 4383 into iniquitie; 5771 therefore x5921 x3651 haue I lift vp 5375 z8804 mine hand 3027 against x5921 them, saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD, 3069 and they shall beare 5375 z8804 their iniquitie. 5771

 44:13 And they shall not x3808 come neere 5066 z8799 vnto x413 me to doe the office of a priest 3547 z8763 vnto me, nor to come neere 5066 z8800 to x5921 any x3605 of my holy things, 6944 in x413 the most holy 6944 place: but they shall beare 5375 z8804 their shame, 3639 and their abominations 8441 which x834 they haue committed. 6213 z8804

 44:14 But I will make 5414 z8804 them keepers 8104 z8802 of the charge 4931 of the house 1004 for all x3605 the seruice 5656 thereof, and for all x3605 that x834 shalbe done 6213 z8735 therein.

 44:15 ¶ But the priests 3548 the Leuites, 3881 the sonnes 1121 of Zadok, 6659 that x834 kept 8104 z8804 x853 the charge 4931 of my sanctuarie, 4720 when the children 1121 of Israel 3478 went astray 8582 z8800 from x4480 x5921 me, they x1992 shall come neere 7126 z8799 to x413 me to minister 8334 z8763 vnto me, and they shall stand 5975 z8804 before 6440 me to offer 7126 z8687 vnto me the fat 2459 and the blood, 1818 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 44:16 They x1992 shall enter 935 z8799 into x413 my sanctuarie, 4720 and they x1992 shall come neere 7126 z8799 to x413 my table 7979 to minister 8334 z8763 vnto mee, and they shall keepe 8104 z8804 x853 my charge. 4931

 44:17 ¶ And it shall come to passe x1961 [that] when they enter y935 z8800 in x935 at x413 the gates 8179 of the inner 6442 court, 2691 they shall be clothed y3847 z8799 with x3847 linnen 6593 garments, 899 and no x3808 wooll 6785 shall come 5927 z8799 vpon x5921 them, whiles they minister 8334 z8763 in the gates 8179 of the inner 6442 court 2691 and within. 1004

 44:18 They shall haue x1961 linnen 6593 bonets 6287 vpon x5921 their heads, 7218 and shall haue x1961 linnen 6593 breeches 4370 vpon x5921 their loynes: 4975 they shall not x3808 girde 2296 z8799 [themselues] with any thing that causeth sweat. 3154

 44:19 And when they goe forth 3318 z8800 into x413 the vtter 2435 court, 2691 [euen] into x413 the vtter 2435 court 2691 to x413 the people, 5971 they shall put off 6584 z8799 x853 their garments 899 wherein x834 they x1992 ministred, 8334 z8764 and lay y3240 z8689 x5117 them in the holy 6944 chambers, 3957 and they shall put y3847 z8804 on x3847 other 312 garments, 899 and they shall not x3808 sanctifie 6942 z8762 x853 the people 5971 with their garments. 899

 44:20 Neither x3808 shall they shaue 1548 z8762 their heads, 7218 nor x3808 suffer their lockes 6545 to grow long, 7971 z8762 they shall only y3697 z8800 polle 3697 z8799 x853 their heads. 7218

 44:21 Neither x3808 shall any x3605 priest 3548 drinke 8354 z8799 wine, 3196 when they enter 935 z8800 into x413 the inner 6442 court. 2691

 44:22 Neither x3808 shall they take 3947 z8799 for their wiues 802 a widow, 490 or her that is put away: 1644 z8803 but x3588 x518 they shall take 3947 z8799 maidens 1330 of the seede 2233 x4480 of the house 1004 of Israel, 3478 or a widow 490 that x834 had x1961 a priest 3548 x4480 before.

 44:23 And they shall teach 3384 z8686 my people 5971 [the difference] betweene x996 the holy 6944 and prophane, 2455 and cause men to discerne 3045 z8686 betweene x996 the vncleane 2931 and the cleane. 2889

 44:24 And in x5921 controuersie 7379 they x1992 shall stand 5975 z8799 in iudgement, 8199 z8800 and they shall iudge 8199 z8799 it according to my iudgements: 4941 and they shall keepe 8104 z8799 my lawes 8451 and my statutes 2708 in all x3605 mine assemblies, 4150 and they shall halow 6942 z8762 my Sabbaths. 7676

 44:25 And they shall come 935 z8799 at x413 no x3808 dead 4191 z8801 person 120 to defile 2930 z8800 themselues: but x3588 x518 for father 1 or for mother, 517 or for sonne 1121 or for daughter, 1323 for brother 251 or for sister, 269 that x834 hath had x1961 no x3808 husband, 376 they may defile y2930 z8691 themselues. x2930

 44:26 And after 310 he is cleansed, 2893 they shal reckon 5608 z8799 vnto him seuen 7651 dayes. 3117

 44:27 And in the day 3117 that he goeth 935 z8800 into x413 the sanctuarie, 6944 vnto x413 the inner 6442 court 2691 to minister 8334 z8763 in the sanctuarie, 6944 he shall offer 7126 z8686 his sinne offring, 2403 saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD. 3069

 44:28 And it shall be x1961 vnto them for an inheritance; 5159 I x589 [am] their inheritance: 5159 and yee shall giue 5414 z8799 them no x3808 possession 272 in Israel; 3478 I x589 [am] their possession. 272

 44:29 They x1992 shal eate 398 z8799 the meate offring, 4503 and the sinne offring, 2403 and the trespasse offring, 817 and euery x3605 dedicate thing 2764 in Israel 3478 shall be x1961 theirs.

 44:30 And the first 7225 of all x3605 the first fruits 1061 of all x3605 things, and euery x3605 oblation 8641 of all x3605 of euery x4480 x3605 sort of your oblations 8641 shall be x1961 the priests: 3548 yee shall also giue 5414 z8799 vnto the priest 3548 the first 7225 of your dough, 6182 that he may cause the blessing 1293 to rest 5117 z8687 in x413 thine house. 1004

 44:31 The priests 3548 shall not x3808 eate 398 z8799 of any thing x3605 that is dead of it selfe 5038 or torne, 2966 whether x4480 it be foule 5775 or x4480 beast. 929
