1 Lemuel's lesson of chastity and temperance. 6 The afflicted are to be comforted and defended. 10 The praise and properties of a good wife.

 31:3 Giue 5414 z8799 not x408 thy strength 2428 vnto women, 802 nor thy wayes 1870 to that which destroyeth 4229 z8687 kings. 4428

 31:4 It [is] not x408 for kings, 4428 O Lemuel, 3927 it is not x408 for kings 4428 to drinke 8354 z8800 wine, 3196 nor x176 for y335 z8675 y176 Princes, 7336 z8802 strong drinke: 7941

 31:5 Lest x6435 they drinke, 8354 z8799 and forget 7911 z8799 the Law, 2710 z8794 and peruert 8138 z8762 the iudgement 1779 of any x3605 of the afflicted. 1121 6040

 31:6 Giue 5414 z8798 strong drinke 7941 vnto him that is ready to perish, 6 z8802 and wine 3196 vnto those that be of heauie 4751 hearts. 5315

 31:10 ¶ Who x4310 can finde 4672 z8799 a vertuous 2428 woman? 802 for her price 4377 [is] farre 7350 aboue Rubies. 6443 x4480

 31:11 The heart 3820 of her husband 1167 doeth safely trust 982 z8804 in her, so that he shall haue no x3808 need 2637 z8799 of spoile. 7998

 31:24 She maketh 6213 z8804 fine linnen, 5466 and selleth 4376 z8799 [it], and deliuereth 5414 z8804 girdles 2289 vnto the merchant. 3669

 31:25 Strength 5797 and honour 1926 [are] her cloathing; 3830 and she shall reioyce 7832 z8799 in time 3117 to come. 314

 31:26 She openeth 6605 z8804 her mouth 6310 with wisedome; 2451 and in x5921 her tongue 3956 [is] the law 8451 of kindnesse. 2617

 31:28 Her children 1121 arise vp, 6965 z8804 and call her blessed; 833 z8762 her husband 1167 [also], and he praiseth 1984 z8762 her.
