Prouerbs 13

1 From this chapter to the five and twentieth are sundry observations of moral virtues, and their contrary vices.

 13:1 ¶ A wise 2450 sonne 1121 [heareth] his fathers 1 instruction: 4148 but a scorner 3887 z8801 heareth 8085 z8804 not x3808 rebuke. 1606

 13:2 A man 376 shall eate 398 z8799 good 2896 by the fruit 6529 x4480 of his mouth: 6310 but the soule 5315 of the transgressours, 898 z8802 [shall eate] violence. 2555

 13:3 He that keepeth 5341 z8802 his mouth, 6310 keepeth 8104 z8802 his life: 5315 [but] hee that openeth wide 6589 z8802 his lips, 8193 [shall haue] destruction. 4288

 13:4 The soule 5315 of the sluggard 6102 desireth, 183 z8693 and [hath] nothing: x369 but the soule 5315 of the diligent 2742 shall be made fat. 1878 z8792

 13:17 A wicked 7563 messenger 4397 falleth 5307 z8799 into mischiefe: 7451 but a faithfull 529 ambassadour 6735 [is] health. 4832

 13:18 Pouerty 7389 and shame 7036 [shall be to him] that refuseth 6544 z8802 instruction: 4148 but he that regardeth 8104 z8802 reproofe, 8433 shall be honoured. 3513 z8792

 13:22 A good 2896 man leaueth an inheritance 5157 z8686 to his childrens 1121 children: 1121 and the wealth 2428 of the sinner 2398 z8802 is layd vp 6845 z8803 for the iust. 6662
