Prouerbs 2

1 Wisdom promiseth godliness to her children, 10 and safety from evil company, 20 and direction in good ways.

 2:1 ¶ My sonne, 1121 if x518 thou wilt receiue 3947 z8799 my words, 561 and hide 6845 z8799 my commaundements 4687 with x854 thee;

 2:2 So that thou incline 7181 z8687 thine eare 241 vnto wisedome, 2451 [and] apply 5186 z8686 thine heart 3820 to vnderstanding: 8394

 2:3 Yea x3588 if x518 thou cryest 7121 z8799 after knowledge, 998 [and] liftest vp 5414 z8799 thy voyce 6963 for vnderstanding: 8394

 2:4 If x518 thou seekest 1245 z8762 her as siluer, 3701 and searchest 2664 z8799 for her, as [for] hid treasures: 4301

 2:5 Then x227 shalt thou vnderstand 995 z8799 the feare 3374 of the LORD, 3068 and find 4672 z8799 the knowledge 1847 of God. 430

 2:6 For x3588 the LORD 3068 giueth 5414 z8799 wisedome: 2451 out of his mouth 6310 x4480 [commeth] knowledge, 1847 and vnderstanding. 8394

 2:7 He layeth vp 6845 z8799 z8675 z8804 sound wisedome 8454 for the righteous: 3477 [he is] a buckler 4043 to them that walke 1980 z8802 vprightly. 8537

 2:8 He keepeth 5341 z8800 the pathes 734 of iudgement, 4941 and preserueth 8104 z8799 the way 1870 of his Saints. 2623

 2:9 Then x227 shalt thou vnderstand 995 z8799 righteousnesse, 6664 and iudgement, 4941 and equity; 4339 [yea] euery x3605 good 2896 path. 4570

 2:10 ¶ When x3588 wisedome 2451 entreth 935 z8799 into thine heart, 3820 and knowledge 1847 is pleasant 5276 z8799 vnto thy soule; 5315

 2:11 Discretion 4209 shall preserue 8104 z8799 x5921 thee, vnderstanding 8394 shall keepe 5341 z8799 thee:

 2:12 To deliuer 5337 z8687 thee from the way 1870 x4480 of the euill 7451 man, from the man 376 x4480 that speaketh 1696 z8764 froward things. 8419

 2:13 Who leaue 5800 z8802 the pathes 734 of vprightnesse, 3476 to walke y3212 z8800 x1980 in the wayes 1870 of darkenesse: 2822

 2:14 Who reioyce 8056 to doe 6213 z8800 euill, 7451 [and] delight y1523 z8799 in x1523 the frowardnesse 8419 of the wicked. 7451
