Prouerbs 28

General observations of impiety and religious integrity.

 28:1 ¶ The wicked 7563 flee 5127 z8804 when no x369 man pursueth: 7291 z8802 but the righteous 6662 are bolde 982 z8799 as a lyon. 3715

 28:2 For the transgression 6588 of a land, 776 many 7227 [are] the princes 8269 thereof: but by a man 120 of vnderstanding 995 z8688 [and] knowledge 3045 z8802 [the state 3651 thereof] shall bee prolonged. 748 z8686

 28:3 A poore 7326 z8802 man 1397 that oppresseth 6231 z8802 the poore, 1800 is like a sweeping 5502 z8802 raine 4306 which leaueth no x369 food. 3899

 28:4 They that forsake 5800 z8802 the law, 8451 praise 1984 z8762 the wicked: 7563 but such as keepe 8104 z8802 the Law, 8451 contend 1624 z8691 with them.

 28:5 Euill 7451 men y582 x376 vnderstand 995 z8799 not x3808 iudgement: 4941 but they that seeke 1245 z8764 the LORD, 3068 vnderstand 995 z8799 all x3605 things.

 28:6 Better 2896 [is] the poore 7326 z8802 that walketh 1980 z8802 [in his] vprightnesse, 8537 then he that is peruerse 6141 x4480 in his wayes, 1870 though he x1931 [be] rich. 6223

 28:7 Whoso keepeth 5341 z8802 the law, 8451 [is] a wise 995 z8688 sonne: 1121 but he that is a companion 7462 z8802 of riotous 2151 z8802 [men], shameth 3637 z8686 his father. 1

 28:8 He that by vsurie 5392 and vniust gaine 8636 increaseth 7235 z8688 his substance, 1952 he shall gather 6908 z8762 it for him that wil pity 2603 z8802 the poore. 1800

 28:16 The prince 5057 that wanteth 2638 vnderstanding, 8394 [is] also a great 7227 oppressour: 4642 [but] he that hateth 8130 z8802 couetousnesse, 1215 shall prolong 748 z8686 [his] dayes. 3117
