Genesis 43

1 Jacob is hardly persuaded to send Benjamin. 15 Joseph entertaineth his brethren. 31 He maketh them a feast.

 43:1 ¶ And the famine 7458 was sore 3515 in the land. 776

 43:2 And it came to passe x1961 when x834 they had eaten vp 3615 398 z8765 z8800 x853 the corne, 7668 which x834 they had brought x935 out y935 z8689 of Egypt, 4714 x4480 their father 1 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 them, Goe againe, 7725 z8798 buy 7666 z8798 vs a little 4592 foode. 400

 43:3 And Iudah 3063 spake 559 z8799 vnto x413 him, saying, 559 z8800 The man 376 did solemnly y5749 z8687 protest 5749 z8689 vnto vs, saying, 559 z8800 Ye shall not x3808 see 7200 z8799 my face, 6440 except 1115 your brother 251 [be] with x854 you.

 43:4 If x518 thou wilt 3426 send 7971 z8764 x853 our brother 251 with x854 vs, we will goe downe 3381 z8799 and buy 7666 z8799 thee food. 400

 43:5 But if x518 thou wilt not x369 send 7971 z8764 [him], we will not x3808 goe downe: 3381 z8799 for x3588 the man 376 saide 559 z8804 vnto x413 vs, Ye shall not x3808 see 7200 z8799 my face, 6440 except x1115 your brother 251 [be] with x854 you.

 43:6 And Israel 3478 said, 559 z8799 Wherefore x4100 dealt ye so ill 7489 z8689 with me, as to tell 5046 z8687 the man 376 whether ye had yet x5750 a brother? 251

 43:7 And they said, 559 z8799 The man 376 asked y7592 z8804 vs straitly 7592 z8800 of our state, and of our kindred, 4138 saying, 559 z8800 Is your father 1 yet x5750 aliue? 2416 haue x3426 yee y3426 [another] brother? 251 and we tolde 5046 z8686 him according y5921 to x5921 the tenour 6310 of these x428 words: 1697 Could we certainely y3045 z8800 knowe 3045 z8799 that x3588 he would say, 559 z8799 Bring y3381 z0 your brother y251 downe? 3381 z8685 x853 x251

 43:8 And Iudah 3063 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Israel 3478 his father, 1 Send 7971 z8798 the lad 5288 with x854 me, and wee will arise 6965 z8799 and go, y3212 z8799 x1980 that we may liue, 2421 z8799 and not x3808 die, 4191 z8799 both x1571 we, x587 and x1571 thou, x859 and also x1571 our little ones. 2945

 43:9 I x595 will be surety 6148 z8799 for him; of my hand 3027 x4480 shalt thou require 1245 z8762 him: if 518 z0 I bring 935 z8689 him not y518 x3808 vnto x413 thee, and set 3322 z8689 him before x6440 thee, y6440 then let me beare the blame 2398 z8804 for euer. 3117 x3605

 43:10 For x3588 except 3884 we had lingred, 4102 z8701 surely x3588 now x6258 wee had returned 7725 z8804 this x2088 second time. 6471

 43:11 And their father 1 Israel 3478 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 them, If x518 it must [bee] so x3651 now, 645 doe 6213 z8798 this: x2063 take 3947 z8798 of the best fruits 2173 x4480 in the land 776 in your vessels, 3627 and carie downe 3381 z8685 the man 376 a Present, 4503 a litle 4592 balme, 6875 and a litle 4592 honie, 1706 spices, 5219 and myrrhe, 3910 nuts, 992 and almonds. 8247

 43:12 And take 3947 z8798 double 4932 money 3701 in your hand, 3027 and the money 3701 that was brought againe 7725 z8716 in the mouth 6310 of your sackes: 572 carie [it] againe 7725 z8686 in your hand, 3027 peraduenture x194 it x1931 was an ouersight. 4870

 43:13 Take 3947 z8798 also your brother, 251 and arise, 6965 z8798 goe againe 7725 z8798 vnto x413 the man. 376

 43:14 And God 410 Almightie 7706 giue 5414 z8799 you mercie 7356 before 6440 the man, 376 that he may send away 7971 z8765 x853 your other 312 brother, 251 and Beniamin: 1144 If 834 I x589 be bereaued 7921 z8804 of my children, I am bereaued. 7921 z8804

 43:15 ¶ And the men y582 x376 tooke 3947 z8799 x853 that 2063 Present, 4503 and they tooke 3947 z8804 double 4932 money 3701 in their hand, 3027 and Beniamin, 1144 and rose vp, 6965 z8799 and went downe 3381 z8799 to Egypt, 4714 and stood 5975 z8799 before 6440 Ioseph. 3130

 43:16 And when Ioseph 3130 sawe 7200 z8799 x853 Beniamin 1144 with 854 them, hee said 559 z8799 to the ruler of x834 x5921 his house, 1004 Bring 935 z8685 x853 these men y582 x376 home, 1004 and slay, 2873 2874 z8800 and make ready: 3559 z8685 for x3588 these men y582 x376 shall dine 398 z8799 with x854 me at noone. 6672

 43:17 And the man 376 did 6213 z8799 as x834 Ioseph 3130 hade: 559 z8804 and the man 376 brought 935 z8686 x853 the men y582 x376 into Iosephs 3130 house. 1004

 43:18 And the men y582 x376 were afraid, 3372 z8799 because x3588 they were brought 935 z8717 into Iosephs 3130 house, 1004 and they said, 559 z8799 Because y1697 of x5921 x1697 the money 3701 that was returned 7725 z8802 in our sackes 572 at the first time 8462 are we x587 brought in, 935 z8716 that hee may seeke occasion 1556 z8705 against x5921 vs, and fall 5307 z8692 vpon x5921 vs, and take 3947 z8800 vs for bondmen, 5650 and our asses. 2543

 43:19 And they came neere 5066 z8799 to x413 the steward 376 x834 x5921 of Iosephs 3130 house, 1004 and they communed 1696 z8762 with x413 him at the doore 6607 of the house, 1004

 43:20 And said, 559 z8799 O 994 Sir, 113 we came indeed y3381 z8800 downe 3381 z8804 at the first time 8462 to buy 7666 z8800 food. 400

 43:21 And it came to passe x1961 when x3588 wee came 935 z8804 to x413 the Inne, 4411 that wee opened 6605 z8799 x853 our sackes, 572 and behold, x2009 euery mans 376 money 3701 [was] in the mouth 6310 of his sacke, 572 our money 3701 in ful weight: 4948 and we haue brought it againe 7725 z8686 x853 in our hand. 3027

 43:22 And other 312 money 3701 haue wee brought downe 3381 z8689 in our handes 3027 to buy 7666 z8800 food: 400 we cannot x3808 tell 3045 z8804 who x4310 put 7760 z8804 our money 3701 in our sackes. 572

 43:23 And he said, 559 z8799 Peace 7965 [be] to you, feare 3372 z8799 not: x408 your God, 430 and the God 430 of your father, 1 hath giuen 5414 z8804 you treasure 4301 in your sackes: 572 I had 935 z8804 your money. 3701 And hee brought y3318 z8686 Simeon y8095 out x3318 x853 x8095 vnto x413 them.

 43:24 And the man 376 brought 935 z8686 x853 the men y582 x376 into Iosephs 3130 house, 1004 and gaue 5414 z8799 [them] water, 4325 and they washed 7364 z8799 their feete, 7272 and he gaue 5414 z8799 their asses 2543 prouender. 4554

 43:25 And they made ready 3559 z8686 x853 the Present 4503 against 5704 Ioseph 3130 came 935 z8800 at noone: 6672 for x3588 they heard 8085 z8804 that x3588 they should eate 398 z8799 bread 3899 there. x8033

 43:26 ¶ And when Ioseph 3130 came 935 z8799 home, 1004 they brought 935 z8686 him x853 the Present 4503 which x834 was in their hand, 3027 into the house, 1004 and bowed y7812 z8691 themselues x7812 to him to the earth. 776

 43:27 And he asked 7592 z8799 them of their welfare, 7965 and said, 559 z8799 Is your father 1 well, 7965 the old man 2205 of whom x834 ye spake? 559 z8804 Is he yet x5750 aliue? 2416

 43:28 And they answered, 559 z8799 Thy seruant 5650 our father 1 [is] in good health, 7965 hee [is] yet x5750 aliue: 2416 & they bowed downe their heads, 6915 z8799 and made obeisance. 7812 z8691

 43:29 And he lift vp 5375 z8799 his eyes, 5869 and sawe 7200 z8799 his brother 251 x853 Beniamin, 1144 his mothers 517 sonne, 1121 and said, 559 z8799 Is this x2088 your yonger 6996 brother, 251 of whom x834 yee spake 559 z8804 vnto x413 mee? and he said, 559 z8799 God 430 be gracious 2603 z8799 vnto thee, my sonne. 1121

 43:30 And Ioseph 3130 made haste: 4116 z8762 for x3588 his bowels 7356 did yerne 3648 z8738 vpon x413 his brother: 251 and he sought 1245 z8762 where to weepe, 1058 z8800 and hee entred y935 z8799 into x935 his chamber, 2315 & wept 1058 z8799 there. x8033

 43:31 And he washed 7364 z8799 his face, 6440 and went out, 3318 z8799 and refrained y662 z8691 himselfe, x662 and saide, 559 z8799 Set on 7760 z8798 bread. 3899

 43:32 And they set on 7760 z8799 for him by himselfe, x905 and for them by themselues, x905 and for the Egyptians 4713 which did eate 398 z8802 with x854 him, by themselues: x905 because x3588 the Egyptians 4713 might 3201 z8799 not x3808 eate 398 z8800 bread 3899 with x854 the Hebrewes: 5680 for x3588 that x1931 [is] an abomination 8441 vnto the Egyptians. 4714

 43:33 And they sate 3427 z8799 before x6440 him, y6440 the first borne 1060 according to his birthright, 1062 and the yongest 6810 according to his youth: 6812 and the men y582 x376 marueiled 8539 z8799 one 376 at x413 another. 7453

 43:34 And hee tooke 5375 z8799 and [sent] measses 4864 vnto x413 them from x4480 x854 before x6440 him: y6440 but Beniamins 1144 measse 4864 [was] fiue y2568 times y3027 so much as 7235 z8799 x4480 x4864 x2568 x3027 any x3605 of theirs: and they drunke, 8354 z8799 and were merry 7937 z8799 with x5973 him.
