Genesis 30

1 Rachel, in grief for her barrenness, giveth Bilhah her maid unto Jacob. 5 She beareth Dan and Naphtali. 9 Leah giveth Zilpah her maid, who beareth Gad and Asher. 14 Reuben findeth mandrakes, with which Leah buyeth her husband of Rachel. 17 Leah beareth Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah. 22 Rachel beareth Joseph. 25 Jacob desireth to depart. 27 Laban stayeth him on a new covenant. 37 Jacob's policy, whereby he became rich.

 30:1 ¶ And when Rachel 7354 saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 shee bare y3205 z8804 Iacob y3290 no children, x3205 x3808 x3290 Rachel 7354 enuied 7065 z8762 her sister, 269 and said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Iacob, 3290 Giue 3051 z8798 mee children, 1121 or x518 els 369 I x595 die. 4191 z8801

 30:2 And Iacobs 3290 anger 639 was kindled 2734 z8799 against Rachel, 7354 and he said, 559 z8799 Am I x595 in Gods 430 stead, x8478 who x834 hath withheld 4513 z8804 from x4480 thee the fruit 6529 of the wombe? 990

 30:3 And she said, 559 z8799 Behold x2009 my mayde 519 Bilhah: 1090 goe in 935 z8798 vnto x413 her, and she shall beare 3205 z8799 vpon x5921 my knees, 1290 that I x595 may also x1571 have children 1129 z8735 by x4480 her.

 30:4 And shee gaue 5414 z8799 him x853 Bilhah 1090 her handmayd 8198 to wife: 802 and Iacob 3290 went in 935 z8799 vnto x413 her.

 30:5 And Bilhah 1090 conceiued 2029 z8799 and bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 a sonne. 1121

 30:6 And Rachel 7354 said, 559 z8799 God 430 hath iudged 1777 z8804 me, and hath also x1571 heard 8085 z8804 my voyce, 6963 and hath giuen 5414 z8799 me a sonne; 1121 therefore x5921 x3651 called 7121 z8804 she his name 8034 Dan. 1835

 30:7 And Bilhah 1090 Rachels 7354 mayd 8198 conceiued 2029 z8799 againe, x5750 and bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 a second 8145 sonne. 1121

 30:8 And Rachel 7354 saide, 559 z8799 With great 430 wrastlings 5319 haue I wrastled 6617 z8738 with x5973 my sister, 269 and x1571 I haue preuailed: 3201 z8804 and she called 7121 z8799 his name 8034 Naphtali. 5321

 30:9 When Leah 3812 saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 she had left 5975 z8804 bearing, 3205 z8800 x4480 shee tooke 3947 z8799 x853 Zilpah 2153 her mayde, 8198 and gaue 5414 z8799 her Iacob 3290 to wife. 802

 30:10 And Zilpah 2153 Leahs 3812 mayde 8198 bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 a sonne. 1121

 30:11 And Leah 3812 said, 559 z8799 A troupe y1409 commeth: y935 z8804 x1413 and she called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Gad. 1410

 30:12 And Zilpah 2153 Leahs 3812 mayde 8198 bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 a second 8145 sonne. 1121

 30:13 And Leah 3812 said, 559 z8799 Happy x837 am I, y837 for x3588 the daughters 1323 will call me blessed: 833 z8765 and she called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Asher. 836

 30:14 ¶ And Reuben 7205 went x1980 in y3212 z8799 the dayes 3117 of wheat 2406 haruest, 7105 & found 4672 z8799 Mandrakes 1736 in the field, 7704 and brought 935 z8686 them vnto x413 his mother 517 Leah. 3812 Then Rachel 7354 saide 559 z8799 to x413 Leah, 3812 Giue x5414 me, y5414 z8798 I pray thee, x4994 of thy sonnes 1121 Mandrakes. 1736 x4480

 30:15 And shee said 559 z8799 vnto her, Is it a small matter, 4592 that thou hast taken 3947 z8800 x853 my husband? 376 and wouldst thou take away 3947 z8800 x853 my sonnes 1121 Mandrakes 1736 also? x1571 and Rachel 7354 said, 559 z8799 Therefore x3651 hee shall lye 7901 z8799 with x5973 thee to night, 3915 for 8478 thy sonnes 1121 Mandrakes. 1736

 30:16 And Iacob 3290 came 935 z8799 out of x4480 the field 7704 in the euening, 6153 and Leah 3812 went out 3318 z8799 to meet 7125 z8800 him, and said, 559 z8799 Thou must come in 935 z8799 vnto x413 mee: for x3588 surely y7936 z8800 I haue hired 7936 z8804 thee with my sonnes 1121 Mandrakes. 1736 And hee lay 7901 z8799 with x5973 her that x1931 night. 3915

 30:17 And God 430 hearkened 8085 z8799 vnto x413 Leah, 3812 and she conceiued, 2029 z8799 and bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 the fift 2549 sonne. 1121

 30:18 And Leah 3812 said, 559 z8799 God 430 hath giuen 5414 z8804 mee my hire, 7939 because 834 I haue giuen 5414 z8804 my mayden 8198 to my husband: 376 and she called 7121 z8799 his name 8034 Issachar. 3485

 30:19 And Leah 3812 conceiued 2029 z8799 againe, x5750 and bare 3205 z8799 Iacob 3290 the sixth 8345 sonne. 1121

 30:20 And Leah 3812 said, 559 z8799 God 430 hath endued 2064 z8804 me [with] a good 2896 dowry: 2065 Now 6471 will my husband 376 dwel y2082 z8799 with x2082 me, because x3588 I haue borne 3205 z8804 him sixe 8337 sonnes: 1121 and shee called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Zebulun. 2074

 30:21 And afterwardes 310 shee bare 3205 z8804 a daughter, 1323 and called 7121 z8799 x853 her name 8034 Dinah. 1783

 30:22 ¶ And God 430 remembred 2142 z8799 x853 Rachel, 7354 and God 430 hearkened 8085 z8799 to x413 her, and opened 6605 z8799 x853 her wombe. 7358

 30:23 And shee conceiued 2029 z8799 and bare 3205 z8799 a sonne, 1121 and said; 559 z8799 God 430 hath taken away 622 z8804 x853 my reproch: 2781

 30:24 And shee called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Ioseph, 3130 and saide, 559 z8800 The LORD 3068 shall adde 3254 z8686 to me another 312 sonne. 1121

 30:25 ¶ And it came to passe x1961 when x834 Rachel 7354 had borne 3205 z8804 x853 Ioseph, 3130 that Iacob 3290 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Laban, 3837 Send me away, 7971 z8761 that I may goe y3212 z8799 x1980 vnto x413 mine owne place, 4725 and to my countrey. 776

 30:26 Giue 5414 z8798 [mee] x853 my wiues 802 and my children, 3206 for y2004 whom x834 x2004 I haue serued 5647 z8804 thee, and let me goe: y3212 z8799 x1980 for x3588 thou x859 knowest 3045 z8804 x853 my seruice 5656 which x834 I haue done 5647 z8804 thee.

 30:27 And Laban 3837 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 him, I pray thee, x4994 if x518 I haue found 4672 z8804 fauour 2580 in thine eyes, 5869 [tary]: for I haue learned by experience, 5172 z8765 that the LORD 3068 hath blessed 1288 z8762 me for thy sake. 1558

 30:28 And he said, 559 z8799 Appoint 5344 z8798 x5921 me thy wages, 7939 and I will giue 5414 z8799 it.

 30:29 And hee said 559 z8799 vnto x413 him, Thou x859 knowest 3045 z8804 x853 how 834 I haue serued 5647 z8804 thee, and how 834 thy cattell 4735 [was] x1961 with x854 me.

 30:30 For x3588 it was little 4592 which x834 thou hadst x1961 before x6440 I y6440 [came]; and it is [now] increased 6555 z8799 vnto a multitude; 7230 and the LORD 3068 hath blessed 1288 z8762 thee since my comming: 7272 and now x6258 when 4970 shall I x595 prouide 6213 z8799 for mine owne house 1004 also? x1571

 30:31 And hee said, 559 z8799 what x4100 shall I giue x5414 thee? y5414 z8799 and Iacob 3290 said, 559 z8799 Thou shalt not x3808 giue 5414 z8799 me any thing; 3972 if x518 thou wilt doe 6213 z8799 this x2088 thing 1697 for mee, I will againe 7725 z8799 feed 7462 z8799 [and] keepe 8104 z8799 thy flocke. 6629

 30:32 I will passe y5674 z8799 through x5674 all x3605 thy flocke 6629 to day, 3117 remoouing 5493 z8687 from thence x4480 x8033 all x3605 the speckled 5348 and spotted 2921 z8803 cattell: 7716 and all x3605 the browne 2345 cattell 7716 among the sheepe, 3775 and the spotted 2921 z8803 and speckled 5348 among the goates, 5795 and [of such] shalbe x1961 my hire. 7939

 30:33 So shall my righteousnesse 6666 answere 6030 z8804 for mee in time 3117 to come, 4279 when x3588 it shall come 935 z8799 for x5921 my hire, 7939 before thy face: 6440 euery one 3605 that x834 is not x369 speckled 5348 and spotted 2921 z8803 amongst the goates, 5795 and browne 2345 amongst the sheepe, 3775 that x1931 shalbe counted stollen 1589 z8803 with x854 me.

 30:34 And Laban 3837 saide, 559 z8799 Beholde, x2005 I would x3863 it might bee y3863 x1961 according to thy word. 1697

 30:35 And he remoued 5493 z8686 that x1931 day 3117 x853 the hee goates 8495 that were ring-straked, 6124 and spotted, 2921 z8803 and all x3605 the shee goats 5795 that were speckled 5348 and spotted, 2921 z8803 [and] euery one x3605 that x834 had [some] white 3836 in it, and all x3605 the browne 2345 amongst the sheepe, 3775 and gaue 5414 z8799 [them] into the hand 3027 of his sonnes. 1121

 30:36 And hee set 7760 z8799 three 7969 dayes 3117 iourney 1870 betwixt x996 himselfe and Iacob: 3290 and Iacob 3290 fed 7462 z8802 x853 the rest 3498 z8737 of Labans 3837 flocks. 6629

 30:37 ¶ And Iacob 3290 tooke 3947 z8799 him rods 4731 of greene 3892 poplar, 3839 and of the hasel 3869 and chesnut tree, 6196 and pilled 6478 z8762 white 3836 strakes 6479 in them, x2004 and made the white 3836 appeare 4286 which x834 was in x5921 the rods. 4731

 30:38 And he set 3322 z8686 x853 the rods 4731 which x834 he had pilled, 6478 z8765 before 5227 the flockes 6629 in the gutters 7298 in the watering 4325 troughes 8268 when x834 the flocks 6629 came 935 z8799 to drinke, 8354 z8800 that they should conceiue 3179 z8799 when they came 935 z8800 to drinke. 8354 z8800

 30:39 And the flockes 6629 conceiued 3179 z8799 before x413 the rods, 4731 and brought forth 3205 z8799 cattell 6629 ringstraked, 6124 speckled 5348 and spotted. 2921 z8803

 30:40 And Iacob 3290 did separate 6504 z8689 the lambes, 3775 and set 5414 z8799 the faces 6440 of the flockes 6629 toward 413 the ring-straked, 6124 and all x3605 the browne 2345 in the flocke 6629 of Laban: 3837 and he put 7896 z8799 his owne flocks 5739 by themselues, x905 and put 7896 z8804 them not x3808 vnto x5921 Labans 3837 cattell. 6629

 30:41 And it came to passe x1961 whensoeuer x3605 the stronger 7194 z8794 cattell 6629 did conceiue, 3179 z8763 that Iacob 3290 layd 7760 z8804 x853 the rods 4731 before the eyes 5869 of the cattell 6629 in the gutters, 7298 that they might conceiue 3179 z8763 among the rods. 4731

 30:42 But when the cattel 6629 were feeble, 5848 z8687 hee put x7760 [them] not x3808 in: y7760 z8799 so the feebler 5848 z8803 were x1961 Labans, 3837 and the stronger 7194 z8803 Iacobs. 3290

 30:43 And the man 376 increased 6555 z8799 exceedingly, 3966 and had x1961 much 7227 cattell, 6629 and maydseruants, 8198 and men seruants, 5650 and camels, 1581 and asses. 2543
