Genesis 16

1 Sarai, being barren, giveth Hagar to Abram. 6 Hagar, being afflicted for despising her mistress, runneth away. 7 An angel sendeth her back to submit herself, 11 and telleth her of her child. 15 Ishmael is born.

 16:1 ¶ Now Sarai 8297 Abrams 87 wife 802 bare y3205 z0 him no y3808 children: 3205 z8804 x3808 and she had an handmaide, 8198 an Egyptian, 4713 whose name 8034 was Hagar. 1904

 16:2 And Sarai 8297 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Abram, 87 Behold x2009 now, x4994 the LORD 3068 hath restrained x6113 me y6113 z8804 from bearing: 3205 z8800 x4480 I pray thee x4994 go in 935 z8798 vnto x413 my maid: 8198 it may y194 bee x194 that I may obtaine children 1129 z8735 by x4480 her: and Abram 87 hearkened 8085 z8799 to the voice 6963 of Sarai. 8297

 16:3 And Sarai 8297 Abrams 87 wife, 802 tooke 3947 z8799 x853 Hagar 1904 her maid, 8198 the Egyptian, 4713 after 7093 x4480 Abram 87 had dwelt 3427 z8800 ten 6235 yeeres 8141 in the land 776 of Canaan, 3667 and gaue 5414 z8799 her to her husband 376 Abram, 87 to be his wife. 802

 16:4 ¶ And he went in 935 z8799 vnto x413 Hagar, 1904 and she conceiued: 2029 z8799 And when shee saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 shee had conceiued, 2029 z8804 her mistresse 1404 was despised 7043 z8799 in her eyes. 5869

 16:6 But Abram 87 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Sarai, 8297 Behold, x2009 thy maid 8198 [is] in thy hand; 3027 doe 6213 z8798 to her as it pleaseth x2896 x5869 thee. y2896 y5869 And when Sarai 8297 dealt hardly x6031 with y6031 z8762 her, shee fled 1272 z8799 from her face. 6440 x4480

 16:7 ¶ And the Angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 found x4672 her y4672 z8799 by x5921 a fountaine 5869 of water, 4325 in the wildernesse, 4057 by x5921 the fountaine, 5869 in the way 1870 to Shur: 7793

 16:8 And he said, 559 z8799 Hagar 1904 Sarais 8297 maid, 8198 whence 335 x4480 x2088 camest x935 thou? y935 z8804 and whither x575 wilt thou goe? y3212 z8799 x1980 And she said, 559 z8799 I x595 flee 1272 z8802 from the face 6440 x4480 of my mistresse 1404 Sarai. 8297

 16:11 And the Angel 4397 of the LORD 3068 said 559 z8799 vnto her, Behold, 2009 thou art with child, 2030 and shalt beare 3205 z8802 a sonne, 1121 and shalt call 7121 z8804 his name 8034 Ishmael; 3458 because x3588 the LORD 3068 hath heard 8085 z8804 x413 thy affliction. 6040

 16:12 And he x1931 will be x1961 a wilde 6501 man; 120 his hand 3027 will be against euery man, x3605 and euery mans x3605 hand 3027 against him: & he shal dwell 7931 z8799 in the presence 6440 x5921 of all x3605 his brethren. 251

 16:13 And shee called 7121 z8799 the name 8034 of the LORD 3068 that spake 1696 z8802 vnto x413 her, Thou x859 God 410 seest x7210 me: y7210 for x3588 she said, 559 z8804 Haue I also x1571 here 1988 looked 7200 z8804 after x310 him y310 that seeth x7200 me? y7210

 16:14 Wherefore x5921 x3651 the well 875 was called, 7121 z8804 Beer-lahai-roi: 883 y2416 Behold, x2009 It is betweene x996 Cadesh 6946 and Bered. 1260

 16:15 ¶ And Hagar 1904 bare 3205 z8799 Abram 87 a sonne: 1121 and Abram 87 called 7121 z8799 his sonnes 1121 name, 8034 which x834 Hagar 1904 bare, 3205 z8804 Ishmael. 3458

 16:16 And Abram 87 was fourescore 8084 y8141 and sixe 8337 yeeres 8141 old, 1121 when Hagar 1904 bare 3205 z8800 x853 Ishmael 3458 to Abram. 87
