Genesis 20

1 Abraham sojourneth at Gerar, 2 denieth his wife, and loseth her. 3 Abimelech is reproved for her in a dream. 9 He rebuketh Abraham, 14 restoreth Sarah, 16 and reproveth her. 17 He is healed by Abraham's prayer.

 20:1 ¶ And Abraham 85 iourneyed 5265 z8799 from thence, x4480 x8033 toward the South-Countrey, 5045 776 and dwelled 3427 z8799 betweene x996 Cadesh 6946 and Shur, 7793 and soiourned 1481 z8799 in Gerar. 1642

 20:2 And Abraham 85 said 559 z8799 of 413 Sarah 8283 his wife, 802 She x1931 is my sister: 269 And Abimelech 40 King 4428 of Gerar 1642 sent, 7971 z8799 and tooke 3947 z8799 x853 Sarah. 8283

 20:3 But God 430 came 935 z8799 to x413 Abimelech 40 in a dreame 2472 by night, 3915 and said 559 z8799 to him, Behold, x2009 thou [art but] a dead man, 4191 z8801 for x5921 the woman 802 which x834 thou hast taken: 3947 z8804 for shee x1931 is a mans 1167 wife. 1166 z8803

 20:4 But Abimelech 40 had not x3808 come neere 7126 z8804 x413 her: and he said, 559 z8799 LORD, 136 wilt thou slay 2026 z8799 also x1571 a righteous 6662 nation? 1471

 20:5 Said 559 z8804 he x1931 not x3808 vnto me, She 1931 is my sister? 269 and she, 1931 euen 1571 she y1931 herselfe x1931 said, 559 z8804 Hee x1931 is my brother: 251 in the integritie 8537 of my heart, 3824 and innocencie 5356 of my hands 3709 haue I done 6213 z8804 this. x2063

 20:6 And God 430 saide 559 z8799 vnto x413 him in a dreame, 2472 Yea, 1571 I x595 know 3045 z8804 that x3588 thou didst 6213 z8804 this x2063 in the integritie 8537 of thy heart: 3824 for I x595 also x1571 withheld 2820 z8799 thee from sinning 2398 z8800 x4480 against mee, therefore x5921 x3651 suffered 5414 z8804 I thee not x3808 to touch 5060 z8800 x413 her.

 20:7 Now x6258 therefore restore 7725 z8685 the man 376 his wife: 802 for x3588 he x1931 is a Prophet, 5030 and he shal pray 6419 z8691 for x1157 thee, y1157 and thou shalt liue: 2421 z8798 and if x518 thou restore 7725 z8688 her not, x369 know 3045 z8798 thou that x3588 thou shalt surely y4191 z8800 die, 4191 z8799 thou, x859 and all x3605 that x834 are thine.

 20:8 Therefore Abimelech 40 rose earely 7925 z8686 in the morning, 1242 and called 7121 z8799 all x3605 his seruants, 5650 and told 1696 z8762 x853 all x3605 these x428 things 1697 in their eares: 241 and the men y582 x376 were sore y3966 afraid. 3372 z8799 x3966

 20:9 Then Abimelech 40 called 7121 z8799 Abraham, 85 and said 559 z8799 vnto him, What x4100 hast thou done 6213 z8804 vnto vs? and what x4100 haue I offended 2398 z8804 thee, that x3588 thou hast brought 935 z8689 on x5921 me, and on x5921 my kingdome 4467 a great 1419 sinne? 2401 thou hast done 6213 z8804 deeds 4639 vnto x5973 mee that x834 ought not x3808 to be done. 6213 z8735

 20:10 And Abimelech 40 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Abraham, 85 What 4100 sawest x7200 thou, y7200 z8804 that x3588 thou hast done 6213 z8804 x853 this x2088 thing? 1697

 20:11 And Abraham 85 said, 559 z8799 Because x3588 I thought, 559 z8804 Surely 7535 the feare 3374 of God 430 is not x369 in this x2088 place: 4725 and they will slay x2026 mee y2026 z8804 for x5921 my wiues 802 sake. 1697

 20:12 And yet x1571 indeed 546 shee is my sister: 269 she x1931 [is] the daughter 1323 of my father, 1 but x389 not x3808 the daughter 1323 of my mother; 517 and shee became x1961 my wife. 802

 20:13 And it came to passe x1961 when x834 God 430 caused me to wander 8582 z8689 from my fathers y1 house, 1004 x4480 x1 that I said 559 z8799 vnto her, This x2088 [is] thy kindnesse 2617 which x834 thou shalt shew 6213 z8799 vnto x5973 me; at x413 euery x3605 place 4725 whither x834 x8033 wee shall come, 935 z8799 say 559 z8798 of me, He x1931 is my brother. 251

 20:14 And Abimelech 40 tooke 3947 z8799 sheepe 6629 and oxen, 1241 and men-seruants, 5650 and women seruants, 8198 and gaue 5414 z8799 them vnto Abraham, 85 and restored 7725 z8686 him x853 Sarah 8283 his wife. 802

 20:15 And Abimelech 40 said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2009 my land 776 [is] before x6440 thee; y6440 dwel 3427 z8798 where it pleaseth 2896 5869 thee.

 20:16 And vnto Sarah 8283 hee said, 559 z8804 Behold, x2009 I haue giuen 5414 z8804 thy brother 251 a thousand 505 [pieces] of siluer: 3701 behold, x2009 he x1931 [is] to thee a couering 3682 of the eyes, 5869 vnto all x3605 that x834 are with x854 thee, and with x854 all x3605 [other]: thus shee was reproued. 3198 z8737

 20:17 ¶ So Abraham 85 prayed 6419 z8691 vnto x413 God: 430 and God 430 healed 7495 z8799 x853 Abimelech, 40 and his wife, 802 and his maid-seruants, 519 and they bare 3205 z8799 children.

 20:18 For x3588 the LORD 3068 had fast y6113 z8800 closed vp 6113 z8804 x1157 all x3605 the wombes 7358 of the house 1004 of Abimelech, 40 because 1697 x5921 of Sarah 8283 Abrahams 85 wife. 802
