Genesis 35

1 God sendeth Jacob to Beth-el. 2 He purgeth his house of idols. 6 He buildeth an altar at Beth-el. 8 Deborah dieth at Allon-bachuth. 9 God blesseth Jacob at Beth-el. 16 Rachel travaileth of Benjamin, and dieth in the way to Ephrath. 22 Reuben lieth with Bilhah. 23 The sons of Jacob. 27 Jacob cometh to Isaac at Hebron. 28 The age, death, and burial of Isaac.

 35:1 ¶ And God 430 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 Iacob, 3290 Arise, 6965 z8798 goe vp 5927 z8798 to Bethel, 1008 and dwel 3427 z8798 there: x8033 and make 6213 z8798 there x8033 an Altar 4196 vnto God, 410 that appeared 7200 z8737 vnto x413 thee, when thou fleddest 1272 z8800 from the face 6440 x4480 of Esau 6215 thy brother. 251

 35:2 Then Iacob 3290 said 559 z8799 vnto x413 his household, 1004 and to x413 all x3605 that x834 were with x5973 him, Put away 5493 z8685 x853 the strange 5236 gods 430 that x834 are among x8432 you, y8432 and bee cleane, 2891 z8690 and change 2498 z8685 your garments, 8071

 35:3 And let vs arise, 6965 z8799 and goe vp 5927 z8799 to Bethel, 1008 and I will make 6213 z8799 there x8033 an Altar 4196 vnto God, 410 who answered 6030 z8802 me in the day 3117 of my distresse, 6869 and was x1961 with x5973 me in the way 1870 which x834 I went. 1980 z8804

 35:4 And they gaue 5414 z8799 vnto x413 Iacob 3290 x853 all x3605 the strange 5236 gods 430 which x834 [were] in their hand, 3027 and all their eare-rings 5141 which x834 [were] in their eares, 241 and Iacob 3290 hid 2934 z8799 them vnder x8478 the oke 424 which x834 was by x5973 Shechem. 7927

 35:5 And they iourneyed: 5265 z8799 and the terrour 2847 of God 430 was x1961 vpon x5921 the cities 5892 that x834 were round about 5439 them, and they did not x3808 pursue 7291 z8804 after 310 the sonnes 1121 of Iacob. 3290

 35:6 ¶ So Iacob 3290 came 935 z8799 to Luz, 3870 which x834 [is] in the land 776 of Canaan 3667 (that x1931 [is] Bethel) 1008 hee x1931 and all x3605 the people 5971 that x834 [were] with x5973 him.

 35:7 And hee built 1129 z8799 there x8033 an Altar, 4196 and called 7121 z8799 the place 4725 El-Bethel, 416 because x3588 there x8033 God 430 appeared 1540 z8738 vnto x413 him, when he fled 1272 z8800 from the face 6440 x4480 of his brother. 251

 35:8 But Deborah 1683 Rebekahs 7259 nurse 3243 z8688 died, 4191 z8799 and she was buried 6912 z8735 beneath x4480 x8478 Bethel 1008 vnder x8478 an oke: 437 and the name 8034 of [it] was called 7121 z8799 Allon Bachuth. 439

 35:9 ¶ And God 430 appeared 7200 z8735 vnto x413 Iacob 3290 againe, x5750 when he came 935 z8800 out of Padan Aram, 6307 x4480 and blessed 1288 z8762 him.

 35:10 And God 430 said 559 z8799 vnto him, Thy name 8034 is Iacob: 3290 thy name 8034 shall not x3808 bee called 7121 z8735 any more x5750 Iacob, 3290 but x3588 x518 Israel 3478 shall bee x1961 thy name; 8034 and hee called 7121 z8799 x853 his name 8034 Israel. 3478

 35:11 And God 430 saide 559 z8799 vnto him, I x589 am God 410 Almightie: 7706 be fruitfull 6509 z8798 and multiply: 7235 z8798 a nation 1471 and a company 6951 of nations 1471 shall be x1961 of x4480 thee, and Kings 4428 shall come y3318 z8799 out x3318 of thy loynes. 2504 x4480

 35:12 And the land 776 which x834 I gaue 5414 z8804 Abraham, 85 and Isaac, 3327 to thee I will giue x5414 it, y5414 z8799 and to thy seed 2233 after x310 thee y310 will I giue 5414 z8799 x853 the land. 776

 35:13 And God 430 went vp 5927 z8799 from x4480 x5921 him, in the place 4725 where x834 he talked 1696 z8765 with x854 him.

 35:14 And Iacob 3290 set vp 5324 z8686 a pillar 4676 in the place 4725 where x834 he talked 1696 z8765 with x854 him, [euen] a pillar 4678 of stone: 68 and hee powred 5258 z8686 a drinke offering 5262 thereon, x5921 and he powred 3332 z8799 oile 8081 thereon. x5921

 35:15 And Iacob 3290 called 7121 z8799 x853 the name 8034 of the place 4725 where x834 God 430 spake 1696 z8765 with x854 him, Bethel. 1008

 35:16 ¶ And they iourneyed 5265 z8799 from Bethel: 1008 x4480 and there was x1961 but 5750 a litle y3530 way 776 x3530 to come 935 z8800 to Ephrath; 672 and Rachel 7354 traueiled, 3205 z8799 and she had hard 7185 z8762 labour. 3205 z8800

 35:17 And it came to passe x1961 when shee was in hard 7185 z8687 labour, 3205 z8800 that the midwife 3205 z8764 said 559 z8799 vnto her, Feare 3372 z8799 not: x408 thou shalt haue this x2088 sonne 1121 also. x1571

 35:18 And it came to passe x1961 as her soule 5315 was in departing, 3318 z8800 (for x3588 she died) 4191 z8804 that she called 7121 z8799 his name 8034 Ben-oni: 1126 but his father 1 called 7121 z8804 him Beniamin. 1144

 35:19 And Rachel 7354 died, 4191 z8799 and was buried 6912 z8735 in the way 1870 to Ephrath, 672 which x1931 [is] Bethlehem. 1035

 35:20 And Iacob 3290 set 5324 z8686 a pillar 4676 vpon x5921 her graue: 6900 that x1931 is the pillar 4678 of Rachels 7354 graue 6900 vnto x5704 this day. 3117

 35:21 ¶ And Israel 3478 iourneyed 5265 z8799 and spread 5186 z8799 his tent 168 beyond 1973 x4480 the towre 4026 of Edar. 4029

 35:22 And it came to passe x1961 when Israel 3478 dwelt 7931 z8800 in that x1931 land, 776 that Reuben 7205 went y3212 z8799 x1980 & lay y7901 z8799 with x7901 x853 Bilhah 1090 his fathers 1 concubine: 6370 and Israel 3478 heard 8085 z8799 [it].  35:24 The sonnes 1121 of Rachel: 7354 Ioseph, 3130 and Beniamin. 1144

 35:25 And the sonnes 1121 of Bilhah, 1090 Rachels 7354 handmaid: 8198 Dan 1835 and Naphtali. 5321

 35:26 And the sonnes 1121 of Zilpah, 2153 Leahs 3812 handmaid: 8198 Gad, 1410 and Asher. 836 These x428 [are] the sonnes 1121 of Iacob, 3290 which x834 were borne 3205 z8795 to him in Padan Aram. 6307

 35:27 ¶ And Iacob 3290 came 935 z8799 vnto x413 Isaac 3327 his father 1 vnto Mamre, 4471 vnto the citie of Arbah 7153 (which x1931 is Hebron) 2275 where x834 x8033 Abraham 85 and Isaac 3327 soiourned. 1481 z8804

 35:28 And the dayes 3117 of Isaac 3327 were x1961 an hundred 3967 y8141 and fourescore 8084 yeeres. 8141

 35:29 And Isaac 3327 gaue vp the ghost 1478 z8799 and died, 4191 z8799 and was gathered 622 z8735 vnto x413 his people, 5971 being old 2205 and full 7649 of dayes: 3117 and his sonnes 1121 Esau 6215 and Iacob 3290 buried 6912 z8799 him.
