2 Chronicles 7

1 God having given testimony to Solomon's prayer by fire from heaven, and glory in the Temple, the people worship him. 4 Solomon's solemn sacrifice. 8 Solomon having kept the feast of Tabernacles, and the feast of the dedication of the altar, dismisseth the people. 12 God appearing to Solomon giveth him promises upon condition.

 7:1 ¶ Now when Solomon 8010 had made an ende 3615 z8763 of praying, 6419 z8692 the fire 784 came downe 3381 z8804 from heauen, 8064 x4480 and consumed 398 z8799 the burnt offering, 5930 and the sacrifices, 2077 and the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 filled 4390 z8804 x853 the house. 1004

 7:2 And the Priests 3548 could 3201 z8804 not x3808 enter 935 z8800 into x413 the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 because x3588 the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 had filled 4390 z8804 x853 the LORDS 3068 house. 1004

 7:3 And when all x3605 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 saw 7200 z8802 how the fire 784 came downe, 3381 z8800 and the glory 3519 of the LORD 3068 vpon x5921 the house, 1004 they bowed 3766 z8799 themselues with their faces 639 to the ground 776 vpon x5921 the pauement, 7531 and worshipped, 7812 z8691 and praised 3034 z8687 the LORD, 3068 [saying], For x3588 hee [is] good, 2896 for x3588 his mercy 2617 [endureth] for euer. 5769

 7:4 ¶ Then the King 4428 and all x3605 the people, 5971 offered 2076 z8802 sacrifices 2077 before 6440 the LORD. 3068

 7:5 And King 4428 Solomon 8010 offered 2076 z8799 x853 a sacrifice 2077 of twentie 6242 and two 8147 thousand 505 oxen, 1241 and an hundred 3967 and twentie 6242 thousand 505 sheepe. 6629 So the King 4428 and all x3605 the people, 5971 dedicated 2596 z8799 x853 the house 1004 of God. 430

 7:6 And the Priests 3548 waited 5975 z8802 on x5921 their offices: 4931 the Leuites 3881 also with instruments 3627 of musicke 7892 of the LORD, 3068 which x834 Dauid 1732 the King 4428 had made 6213 z8804 to praise 3034 z8687 the LORD, 3068 because x3588 his mercy 2617 [endureth] for x5769 euer, y5769 when Dauid 1732 praised 1984 z8763 by their ministerie: 3027 and the Priests 3548 sounded x2690 trumpets 2690 z8688 z8675 z8764 before x5048 them, and all x3605 Israel 3478 stood. 5975 z8802

 7:7 Moreouer, Solomon 8010 hallowed 6942 z8762 x853 the middle 8432 of the Court, 2691 that x834 [was] before 6440 the house 1004 of the LORD: 3068 for x3588 there x8033 hee offered 6213 z8804 burnt offerings, 5930 and the fat 2459 of the peace offerings, 8002 because x3588 the brasen 5178 Altar 4196 which x834 Solomon 8010 had made, 6213 z8804 was not able 3201 z8804 x3808 to receiue 3557 z8687 x853 the burnt offerings, 5930 and the meat offerings, 4503 and the fat. 2459

 7:8 ¶ Also at the same x1931 time 6256 Solomon 8010 kept 6213 z8799 x853 the feast 2282 seuen 7651 dayes, 3117 and all x3605 Israel 3478 with x5973 him, a very 3966 great 1419 Congregation, 6951 from the entring in 935 z8800 x4480 of Hamath, 2574 vnto x5704 the Riuer 5158 of Egypt. 4714

 7:9 And in the eight 8066 day 3117 they made 6213 z8799 a solemne assembly: 6116 for x3588 they kept 6213 z8804 the dedication 2598 of the Altar 4196 seuen 7651 dayes, 3117 and the feast 2282 seuen 7651 dayes. 3117

 7:10 And on the three 7969 and twentieth 6242 day 3117 of the seuenth 7637 moneth, 2320 he sent 7971 z0 x853 the people 5971 away y7971 z8765 into their tents, 168 glad 8056 and merry 2896 in heart 3820 for x5921 the goodnesse 2896 that x834 the LORD 3068 had shewed 6213 z8804 vnto Dauid, 1732 and to Solomon, 8010 and to Israel 3478 his people. 5971

 7:11 Thus Solomon 8010 finished 3615 z8762 x853 the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 and the Kings 4428 house: 1004 and all x3605 that came 935 z8802 into x5921 Solomons 8010 heart 3820 to make 6213 z8800 in the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 and in his owne house, 1004 hee prosperously effected. 6743 z8689

 7:12 ¶ And the LORD 3068 appeared 7200 z8735 to x413 Solomon 8010 by night, 3915 and said 559 z8799 vnto him, I haue heard 8085 z8804 x853 thy prayer, 8605 and haue chosen 977 z8804 this x2088 place 4725 to my selfe for an house 1004 of sacrifice. 2077

 7:13 If 2005 I shut vp 6113 z8799 heauen 8064 that there bee x1961 no x3808 raine, 4306 or if x2005 I command 6680 z8762 x5921 the locusts 2284 to deuoure 398 z8800 the land, 776 or if x518 I send 7971 z8762 pestilence 1698 among my people: 5971

 7:14 If my people 5971 which x834 are called 7121 z8738 x5921 by my Name, 8034 shall humble y3665 z8735 themselues x3665 and pray, 6419 z8691 and seeke 1245 z8762 my face, 6440 and turne 7725 z8799 from their wicked 7451 wayes: 1870 x4480 then will I x589 heare 8085 z8799 from x4480 heauen, 8064 and will forgiue 5545 z8799 their sinne, 2403 and will heale 7495 z8799 x853 their land. 776

 7:15 Now x6258 mine eyes 5869 shalbe x1961 open, 6605 z8803 and mine eares 241 attent 7183 vnto the prayer 8605 [that is made] in this x2088 place. 4725

 7:16 For now x6258 haue I chosen, 977 z8804 & sanctified 6942 z8689 x853 this x2088 house, 1004 that my Name 8034 may be x1961 there x8033 for y5704 euer: 5769 x5704 and mine eyes 5869 and mine heart 3820 shalbe x1961 there x8033 perpetually. 3117 x3605

 7:17 And as for thee, x859 if x518 thou wilt walke y3212 z8799 x1980 before 6440 me, as x834 Dauid 1732 thy father 1 walked, 1980 z8804 and doe 6213 z8800 according to all x3605 that x834 I haue commanded 6680 z8765 thee, and shalt obserue 8104 z8799 my Statutes, 2706 and my Iudgements: 4941

 7:18 Then wil I stablish 6965 z8689 x853 the throne 3678 of thy kingdome, 4438 according as x834 I haue couenanted 3772 z8804 with Dauid 1732 thy father, 1 saying, 559 z8800 There shall not x3808 faile 3772 z8735 thee a man 376 to be ruler 4910 z8802 in Israel. 3478

 7:19 But if x518 yee x859 turne away 7725 z8799 and forsake 5800 z8804 my Statutes 2708 and my Commandements 4687 which x834 I haue set 5414 z8804 before 6440 you, and shall goe 1980 z8804 and serue 5647 z8804 other 312 gods, 430 and worship 7812 z8694 them:

 7:20 Then will I plucke them vp by the roots 5428 z8804 out of x4480 x5921 my land 127 which x834 I haue giuen 5414 z8804 them, and this x2088 house 1004 which x834 I haue sanctified 6942 z8689 for my Name, 8034 wil I cast out 7993 z8686 of x4480 x5921 my sight, 6440 and will make 5414 z8799 it to be a prouerbe, 4912 and a by-word 8148 among all x3605 nations. 5971

 7:21 And this x2088 house 1004 which x834 is x1961 high, 5945 shall be an astonishment 8074 z8799 to euery one x3605 that passeth 5674 z8802 by x5921 it; so that hee shall say; 559 z8804 Why x4100 hath the LORD 3068 done 6213 z8804 thus x3602 vnto this x2063 land, 776 and vnto this x2088 house? 1004

 7:22 And it shalbe answered, 559 z8804 Because x5921 x834 they forsooke 5800 z8804 x853 the LORD 3068 God 430 of their fathers, 1 which x834 brought them forth 3318 z8689 out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 and layd hold 2388 z8686 on others 312 gods, 430 and worshipped 7812 z8691 them, aud serued 5647 z8799 them: Therefore x5921 x3651 hath hee brought 935 z8689 x853 all x3605 this x2063 euil 7451 vpon x5921 them.
