2 Chronicles 19

1 Jehoshaphat, reproved by Jehu, visiteth his kingdom. 5 His instructions to the judges, 8 to the priests and Levites.

 19:1 ¶ And Iehoshaphat 3092 the king 4428 of Iudah 3063 returned 7725 z8799 to x413 his house 1004 in peace 7965 to Ierusalem. 3389

 19:2 And Iehu 3058 the sonne 1121 of Hanani 2607 the seer, 2374 went out 3318 z8799 to meete 6440 x413 him, and sayd 559 z8799 to x413 king 4428 Iehoshaphat, 3092 Shouldest thou helpe 5826 z8800 the vngodly, 7563 and loue 157 z8799 them that hate 8130 z8802 the LORD? 3068 Therefore 2063 [is] wrath 7110 vpon x5921 thee from before 6440 x4480 the LORD. 3068

 19:3 Neuerthelesse, 61 there are good 2896 things 1697 found 4672 z8738 in x5973 thee, in that x3588 thou hast taken away 1197 z8765 the groues 842 out of x4480 the land, 776 and hast prepared 3559 z8689 thine heart 3824 to seeke 1875 z8800 God. 430

 19:4 And Iehoshaphat 3092 dwelt 3427 z8799 at Ierusalem: 3389 and hee went out 3318 z8799 againe 7725 z8799 through the people, 5971 from Beer-sheba 884 x4480 to x5704 mount 2022 Ephraim, 669 and brought them backe 7725 z8686 vnto x413 the LORD 3068 God 430 of their fathers. 1

 19:5 ¶ And he set 5975 z8686 Iudges 8199 z8802 in the land, 776 throughout all x3605 the fenced 1219 z8803 cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 city 5892 by city, 5892

 19:6 And said 559 z8799 to x413 the Iudges, 8199 z8802 Take heed 7200 z8798 what x4100 ye x859 doe: 6213 z8802 for x3588 yee iudge 8199 z8799 not x3808 for man, 120 but x3588 for the LORD, 3068 who is with x5973 you in the iudgement. 1697 4941

 19:7 Wherefore now, x6258 let the feare 6343 of the LORD 3068 be x1961 vpon x5921 you, take heed 8104 z8798 and doe 6213 z8798 it: for x3588 [there is] no x369 iniquitie 5766 with x5973 the LORD 3068 our God, 430 nor respect 4856 of persons, 6440 nor taking 4727 of gifts. 7810

 19:8 ¶ Moreouer x1571 in Ierusalem 3389 did Iehoshaphat 3092 set 5975 z8689 of x4480 the Leuites, 3881 and of the Priests, 3548 and of the chiefe 7218 x4480 of the fathers 1 of Israel, 3478 for the iudgement 4941 of the LORD, 3068 and for controuersies, 7379 when they returned 7725 z8799 to Ierusalem. 3389

 19:9 And hee charged 6680 z8762 x5921 them, saying, 559 z8800 Thus x3541 shall yee doe 6213 z8799 in the feare 3374 of the LORD 3068 faithfully, 530 and with a perfect 8003 heart. 3824

 19:10 And what cause y7379 soeuer x3605 x7379 x834 shal come 935 z8799 to x5921 you of your brethren 251 x4480 that dwell 3427 z8802 in their cities, 5892 betweene x996 blood 1818 and blood, 1818 betweene x996 Law 8451 and Commandement, 4687 Statutes 2706 and Iudgements, 4941 yee shall euen warne 2094 z8689 them that they trespasse 816 z8799 not x3808 against the LORD, 3068 and so wrath 7110 come x1961 vpon x5921 you, and vpon x5921 your brethren: 251 this 3541 doe, 6213 z8799 & ye shall not x3808 trespasse. 816 z8799

 19:11 And behold, x2009 Amariah 568 the chiefe 7218 Priest 3548 [is] ouer x5921 you in all x3605 matters 1697 of the LORD, 3068 and Zebadiah 2069 the sonne 1121 of Ishmael, 3458 the ruler 5057 of the house 1004 of Iudah, 3063 for all x3605 the Kings 4428 matters: 1697 Also the Leuites 3881 [shall be] officers 7860 z8802 before 6440 you.
