2 Chronicles 31

1 The people is forward in destroying idolatry. 2 Hezekiah ordereth the courses of the priests and Levites, and provideth for their work and maintenance. 5 The people's forwardness in offerings and tithes. 11 Hezekiah appointeth officers to dispose of the tithes. 20 The sincerety of Hezekiah.

 31:1 ¶ Now when all x3605 this x2063 was finished, 3615 z8763 all x3605 Israel 3478 that were present, 4672 z8737 went out 3318 z8804 to the cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 and brake y7665 z0 the images y4676 in pieces, 7665 z8762 x4676 and cut downe 1438 z8762 the groues, 842 and threw downe 5422 z8762 x853 the high places 1116 and the altars 4196 out of all x4480 x3605 Iudah 3063 and Beniamin, 1144 in Ephraim 669 also and Manasseh, 4519 vntill x5704 they had vtterly destroyed 3615 z8763 them all. Then all x3605 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 returned 7725 z8799 euery man 376 to his possession 272 into their owne cities. 5892

 31:2 ¶ And Hezekiah 3169 appointed 5975 z8686 x853 the courses 4256 of the Priests 3548 and the Leuites 3881 after x5921 their courses, 4256 euery man 376 according y6310 to x6310 his seruice, 5656 the Priests 3548 and Leuites 3881 for burnt offerings, 5930 and for peace offerings, 8002 to minister 8334 z8763 and to giue thankes, 3034 z8687 and to praise 1984 z8763 in the gates 8179 of the tents 4264 of the LORD. 3068

 31:3 [He appointed] also the kings 4428 portion 4521 of x4480 his substance, 7399 for the burnt offrings, 5930 [to wit], for the morning 1242 and euening 6153 burnt offrings; 5930 and the burnt offrings 5930 for the Sabbaths, 7676 and for the Newmoones, 2320 and for the set feasts, 4150 as it [is] written 3789 z8803 in the Law 8451 of the LORD. 3068

 31:4 Moreouer, he commaunded 559 z8799 the people 5971 that dwelt 3427 z8802 in Ierusalem, 3389 to giue 5414 z8800 the portion 4521 of the Priests, 3548 and the Leuites, 3881 that x4616 they might be incouraged 2388 z8799 in the Law 8451 of the LORD. 3068

 31:5 ¶ And assoone as the commaundement 1697 came abroad, 6555 z8800 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 brought y935 z8689 in abundance 7235 z8689 the first fruits 7225 of corne, 1715 wine 8492 and oile, 3323 & hony, 1706 and of all x3605 the increase 8393 of the field, 7704 and the tithe 4643 of all x3605 things brought y935 z8689 they in x935 abundantly. 7230

 31:6 And concerning the children 1121 of Israel 3478 and Iudah, 3063 that dwelt 3427 z8802 in the cities 5892 of Iudah, 3063 they x1992 [also] x1571 brought in 935 z8689 the tithes 4643 of oxen 1241 and sheepe, 6629 and the tithe 4643 of holy things, 6944 which were consecrated 6942 z8794 vnto the LORD 3068 their God, 430 [and] layd 5414 z8799 [them] by heapes. 6194

 31:7 In the third 7992 moneth 2320 they began 2490 z8689 to lay the foundation 3245 z8800 of the heapes, 6194 and finished 3615 z8765 [them] in the seuenth 7637 moneth. 2320

 31:8 And when Hezekiah 3169 and the princes 8269 came, 935 z8799 and saw 7200 z8799 x853 the heapes, 6194 they blessed 1288 z8762 x853 the LORD, 3068 and his people 5971 Israel. 3478

 31:9 Then Hezekiah 3169 questioned 1875 z8799 with x5921 the priests 3548 and the Leuites 3881 concerning x5921 the heapes. 6194

 31:10 And Azariah 5838 the chiefe 7218 priest 3548 of the house 1004 of Zadok, 6659 answered 559 z8799 x413 him & said: 559 z8799 Since [the people] began 2490 z8687 x4480 to bring 935 z8687 the offerings 8641 into the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 wee haue had enough 7646 z8800 to eate, 398 z8800 and haue left 3498 z8687 x5704 plentie: 7230 for x3588 the LORD 3068 hath blessed 1288 z8765 x853 his people; 5971 and that which is left, 3498 z8737 [is] x853 this x2088 great store. 1995

 31:11 ¶ Then Hezekiah 3169 commanded 559 z8799 to prepare 3559 z8687 chambers 3957 in the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 and they prepared 3559 z8686 [them],

 31:12 And brought in 935 z8686 x853 the offerings 8641 and the tithes, 4643 and the dedicate 6944 things, faithfully: 530 ouer x5921 which Cononiah 3562 the Leuite y3881 x3878 [was] ruler, 5057 and Shimei 8096 his brother 251 was the next. 4932

 31:13 And Iehiel, 3171 and Azaziah, 5812 and Nahath, 5184 and Asahel, 6214 and Ierimoth, 3406 and Iozabad, 3107 and Eliel, 447 and Ismachiah, 3253 and Mahath, 4287 and Benaiah 1141 [were] ouerseers 6496 vnder the hande 3027 x4480 of Cononiah, 3562 and Shimei 8096 his brother, 251 at the commandement 4662 of Hezekiah 3169 the king, 4428 and Azariah 5838 the ruler 5057 of the house 1004 of God. 430

 31:14 And Kore 6981 the sonne 1121 of Immah 3232 the Leuite y3881 x3778 the porter 7778 toward the East, 4217 [was] ouer x5921 the free will offerings 5071 of God, 430 to distribute 5414 z8800 the oblations 8641 of the LORD, 3068 and the most y6944 holy things. 6944

 31:15 And next x5921 x3027 him [were] Eden, 5731 and Miniamin, 4509 and Ieshua, 3442 and Shemaiah, 8098 Amariah, 568 and Shechaniah, 7935 in the cities 5892 of the priests, 3548 in [their] set office, 530 to giue 5414 z8800 to their brethren 251 by y3027 courses, 4256 as wel to the great 1419 as to the small: 6996

 31:16 Beside x4480 x905 their genealogie 3187 z8692 of males, 2145 from three 7969 yeeres 8141 old 1121 x4480 and vpward, 4605 [euen] vnto euery one x3605 that entreth 935 z8802 into the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 his dayly 3117 portion 1697 for their seruice 5656 in their charges, 4931 according to their courses: 4256

 31:17 Both to x854 the genealogie 3187 z8692 of the priests 3548 by the house 1004 of their fathers, 1 and the Leuites 3881 from twenty 6242 yeeres 8141 olde 1121 x4480 and vpward, 4605 in their charges 4931 by their courses: 4256

 31:18 And to the genealogie 3187 z8692 of all x3605 their litle ones, 2945 their wiues, 802 and their sonnes, 1121 and their daughters, 1323 through all x3605 the congregation: 6951 for x3588 in their set office 530 they sanctified y6942 z8691 themselues x6942 in holinesse. 6944

 31:19 Also of the sonnes 1121 of Aaron 175 the priests, 3548 which [were] in the fields 7704 of the suburbs 4054 of their cities, 5892 in euery x3605 seuerall citie, 5892 the men y582 x376 that x834 [were] expressed 5344 z8738 by name, 8034 to giue 5414 z8800 portions 4490 to all x3605 the males 2145 among the priests, 3548 and to all x3605 that were reckoned by genealogies, 3187 z8692 among the Leuites. 3881

 31:20 ¶ And thus x2063 did 6213 z8799 Hezekiah 3169 throughout al x3605 Iudah, 3063 and wrought 6213 z8799 that which [was] good 2896 and right, 3477 and trueth 571 before 6440 the LORD 3068 his God. 430

 31:21 And in euery x3605 worke 4639 that x834 he began 2490 z8689 in the seruice 5656 of the house 1004 of God, 430 and in the law, 8451 and in the commandements 4687 to seeke 1875 z8800 his God, 430 he did 6213 z8804 [it] with all x3605 his heart, 3824 and prospered. 6743 z8689
