1 Chronicles 23

1 David in his old age maketh Solomon king. 2 The number and distribution of the Levites. 7 The families of the Gershonites. 12 The sons of Kohath. 21 The sons of Merari. 24 The office of the Levites.

 23:1 ¶ So when Dauid 1732 was old 2204 z8804 and full 7646 z8804 of dayes, 3117 he made x4427 x853 Solomon 8010 his sonne 1121 king y4427 z8686 ouer x5921 Israel. 3478

 23:2 ¶ And he gathered together 622 z8799 x853 all x3605 the Princes 8269 of Israel, 3478 with the Priests 3548 and the Leuites. 3881

 23:3 Now the Leuites 3881 were numbred 5608 z8735 from the age 1121 x4480 of thirtie 7970 yeeres 8141 and vpward: 4605 and their number, 4557 by their polles, 1538 man by man, 1397 was x1961 thirtie 7970 and eight 8083 thousand. 505

 23:7 ¶ Of the Gershonites 1649 [were] Laadan, 3936 and Shimei. 8096
