1 Chronicles 16

1 David's festival sacrifice. 4 He ordereth a choir to sing thanksgiving. 7 The psalm of thanksgiving. 37 He appointeth ministers, porters, priests, and musicians, to attend continually on the Ark.

 16:1 ¶ So they brought 935 z8686 x853 the Arke 727 of God, 430 and set 3322 z8686 it in the midst 8432 of the tent 168 that x834 Dauid 1732 had pitched 5186 z8804 for it: and they offered 7126 z8686 burnt sacrifices, 5930 and peace offerings 8002 before 6440 God. 430

 16:2 And when Dauid 1732 had made an end 3615 z8762 of offering 5927 z8687 x4480 the burnt offerings, 5930 and the peace offrings, 8002 he blessed 1288 z8762 x853 the people 5971 in the name 8034 of the LORD. 3068

 16:3 And hee dealt 2505 z8762 to euery one 376 x3605 of Israel, 3478 both man 376 x4480 and woman, 802 to euery one 376 a loafe 3603 of bread, 3899 and a good piece of flesh, 829 and a flagon 809 [of wine].

 16:4 ¶ And he appointed 5414 z8799 [certaine] of x4480 the Leuites 3881 to minister 8334 z8764 before 6440 the Arke 727 of the LORD, 3068 and to record, 2142 z8687 and to thanke 3034 z8687 and praise 1984 z8763 the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel, 3478

 16:5 Asaph 623 the chiefe, 7218 and next 4932 to him Zachariah, 2148 Ieiel, 3273 and Shemiramoth, 8070 and Iehiel, 3171 and Mattithiah, 4993 and Eliab, 446 and Benaiah, 1141 and Obed Edom: 5654 and Ieiel 3273 with Psalteries 5035 3627 and with harpes: 3658 but Asaph 623 made a sound 8085 z8688 with cymbals. 4700

 16:6 Benaiah 1141 also and Iahaziel 3166 the Priestes, 3548 with trumpets 2689 continually 8548 before 6440 the Arke 727 of the Couenant 1285 of God. 430

 16:8 Giue thankes 3034 z8685 vnto the LORD, 3068 call 7121 z8798 vpon his name, 8034 make knowen 3045 z8685 his deeds 5949 among the people. 5971

 16:11 Seeke 1875 z8798 the LORD, 3068 and his strength, 5797 seeke 1245 z8761 his face 6440 continually. 8548

 16:23 Sing 7891 z8798 vnto the LORD 3068 all x3605 the earth: 776 shew foorth 1319 z8761 from day 3117 x4480 to x413 day 3117 his saluation. 3444

 16:24 Declare 5608 z8761 x853 his glory 3519 among the heathen: 1471 his marueilous workes 6381 z8737 among all x3605 nations. 5971

 16:25 For x3588 great 1419 [is] the LORD, 3068 and greatly 3966 to be praised: 1984 z8794 he x1931 also [is] to be feared 3372 z8737 aboue x5921 all x3605 gods. 430

 16:26 For x3588 all x3605 the gods 430 of the people 5971 [are] idoles: 457 but the LORD 3068 made 6213 z8804 the heauens. 8064

 16:27 Glory 1935 and honour 1926 [are] in his presence: 6440 strength 5797 and gladnesse 2304 [are] in his place. 4725

 16:28 Giue 3051 z8798 vnto the LORD, 3068 yee kinreds 4940 of the people: 5971 giue 3051 z8798 vnto the LORD 3068 glory 3519 and strength. 5797

 16:29 Giue 3051 z8798 vnto the LORD 3068 the glory 3519 [due] vnto his Name: 8034 bring 5375 z8798 an offering, 4503 and come 935 z8798 before 6440 him, worship 7812 z8690 the LORD 3068 in the beautie 1927 of holinesse. 6944

 16:32 Let the sea 3220 roare, 7481 z8799 and the fulnesse 4393 thereof: let the fieldes 7704 reioyce, 5970 z8799 and all x3605 that x834 [is] therein.

 16:34 O giue thanks 3034 z8685 vnto the LORD, 3068 for x3588 hee [is] good: 2896 for x3588 his mercy 2617 endureth for euer. 5769

 16:35 And say 559 z8798 yee, Saue 3467 z8685 vs, O God 430 of our saluation, 3468 and gather vs together, 6908 z8761 and deliuer 5337 z8685 vs from x4480 the heathen, 1471 that we may giue thanks 3034 z8687 to thy holy 6944 Name, 8034 [and] glory 7623 z8692 in thy praise. 8416

 16:36 Blessed 1288 z8803 [be] the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel 3478 for euer 5769 x4480 and euer: 5769 x5704 and all x3605 the people 5971 saide, 559 z8799 Amen, 543 and praised 1984 z8763 the LORD. 3068

 16:37 ¶ So hee left 5800 z8799 there x8033 before 6440 the Arke 727 of the couenant 1285 of the LORD, 3068 Asaph 623 and his brethren, 251 to minister 8334 z8763 before 6440 the Arke 727 continually, 8548 as euery dayes y3117 worke y1697 required: 3117 x1697

 16:38 And Obed Edom 5654 with their brethren, 251 threescore 8346 and eight: 8083 Obed Edom 5654 also the sonne 1121 of Ieduthun, 3038 and Hosah 2621 to be porters: 7778

 16:41 And with x5973 them Heman 1968 and Ieduthun, 3038 and the rest 7605 that were chosen, 1305 z8803 who x834 were expressed 5344 z8738 by name, 8034 to giue thankes 3034 z8687 to the LORD, 3068 because x3588 his mercy 2617 [endureth] for euer. 5769

 16:42 And with x5973 them Heman 1968 and Ieduthun 3038 with trumpets 2689 and cymbales, 4700 for those that should make a sound, 8085 z8688 and with musicall 7892 instruments 3627 of God: 430 and the sonnes 1121 of Ieduthun 3038 were Porters. 8179

 16:43 And all x3605 the people 5971 departed y3212 z8799 x1980 euery man 376 to his house, 1004 and Dauid 1732 returned 5437 z8735 to blesse 1288 z8763 x853 his house. 1004
