1 Chronicles 22

1 David, foreknowing the place of the Temple, prepareth abundance for the building of it. 6 He instucteth Solomon in God's promises, and his duty in building the Temple. 17 He chargeth the princes to assist his son.

 22:1 ¶ Then Dauid 1732 said, 559 z8799 This x2088 is the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 God, 430 and this x2088 [is] the Altar 4196 of the burnt offering 5930 for Israel. 3478

 22:2 And Dauid 1732 commanded 559 z8799 to gather together 3664 z8800 x853 the strangers 1616 that x834 [were] in the land 776 of Israel: 3478 and hee set 5975 z8686 masons 2672 z8802 to hew 2672 z8800 wrought 1496 stones 68 to build 1129 z8800 the house 1004 of God. 430

 22:3 And Dauid 1732 prepared 3559 z8689 yron 1270 in abundance 7230 for the nailes 4548 for the doores 1817 of the gates, 8179 and for the ioynings, 4226 and brasse 5178 in abundance 7230 without x369 weight; 4948

 22:4 Also Cedar 730 trees 6086 in abundance: 369 4557 for x3588 the Zidonians, 6722 and they of Tyre, 6876 brought 935 z8689 much 7230 Cedar 730 wood 6086 to Dauid. 1732

 22:5 And Dauid 1732 said, 559 z8799 Solomon 8010 my sonne 1121 [is] yong 5288 and tender, 7390 and the house 1004 [that is] to be builded 1129 z8800 for the LORD, 3068 [must be] exceeding 4605 magnificall, 1431 z8687 of fame 8034 and of glory 8597 throughout all x3605 countreys: 776 I will [therefore] now x4994 make preparation 3559 z8686 for it. So Dauid 1732 prepared 3559 z8686 abundantly 7230 before 6440 his death. 4194

 22:6 ¶ Then hee called 7121 z8799 for Solomon 8010 his sonne, 1121 and charged 6680 z8762 him to build 1129 z8800 an house 1004 for the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel. 3478

 22:7 And Dauid 1732 saide 559 z8799 to Solomon; 8010 My sonne, 1121 as for me, x589 it was x1961 in x5973 my mind 3824 to build 1129 z8800 an house 1004 vnto the Name 8034 of the LORD 3068 my God. 430

 22:8 But the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came x1961 to x5921 mee, saying, 559 z8800 Thou hast shed 8210 z8804 blood 1818 abundantly, 7230 and hast made 6213 z8804 great 1419 warres: 4421 thou shalt not x3808 build 1129 z8799 an house 1004 vnto my Name, 8034 because x3588 thou hast shed 8210 z8804 much 7227 blood 1818 vpon the earth 776 in my sight. 6440

 22:9 Behold, x2009 a sonne 1121 shall bee borne 3205 z8737 to thee, who x1931 shall bee x1961 a man 376 of rest, 4496 and I will giue him rest 5117 z8689 from all x4480 x3605 his enemies 341 z8802 round about: 5439 x4480 for x3588 his name 8034 shalbe x1961 Solomon, 8010 and I wil giue 5414 z8799 peace 7965 and quietnesse 8253 vnto x5921 Israel 3478 in his dayes. 3117

 22:10 Hee x1931 shall build 1129 z8799 an house 1004 for my Name, 8034 and he x1931 shal be x1961 my sonne, 1121 and I x589 [will be] his father, 1 and I will establish 3559 z8689 the throne 3678 of his kingdome 4438 ouer x5921 Israel 3478 for y5704 euer. 5769 x5704

 22:11 Now x6258 my sonne, 1121 The LORD 3068 be x1961 with x5973 thee, and prosper 6743 z8689 thou, and build 1129 z8804 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 as x834 he hath said 1696 z8765 of x5921 thee.

 22:12 Onely x389 the LORD 3068 giue 5414 z8799 thee wisedome 7922 and vnderstanding, 998 and giue thee charge 6680 z8762 concerning x5921 Israel, 3478 that thou mayest keepe 8104 z8800 x853 the Law 8451 of the LORD 3068 thy God. 430

 22:13 Then x227 shalt thou prosper, 6743 z8686 if x518 thou takest heed 8104 z8799 to fulfill 6213 z8800 x853 the Statutes 2706 and Iudgements 4941 which x834 the LORD 3068 charged 6680 z8765 x853 Moses 4872 with, concerning x5921 Israel: 3478 be strong, 2388 z8798 and of good courage, 553 z8798 dread 3372 z8799 not, x408 nor x408 be dismayed. 2865 z8735

 22:14 Now beholde, x2009 in my trouble 6040 I haue prepared 3559 z8689 for the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 an hundred 3967 thousand 505 talents 3603 of gold, 2091 and a thousand 505 thousand 505 talents 3603 of siluer, 3701 and of brasse 5178 and yron 1270 without x369 weight: 4948 (for x3588 it is x1961 in abundance) 7230 timber 6086 also and stone 68 haue I prepared, 3559 z8689 and thou mayest adde 3254 z8686 thereto. x5921

 22:15 Moreouer, [there are] workmen 6213 4399 z8802 with x5973 thee in abundance, 7230 hewers, 2672 z8802 and workers 2796 of stone 68 and timber, 6086 and all maner x3605 of cunning men 2450 for euery maner x3605 of worke: 4399

 22:16 Of the gold, 2091 the siluer, 3701 and the brasse, 5178 and the yron, 1270 [there is] no x369 number. 4557 Arise 6965 z8798 therefore, and be doing, 6213 z8798 and the LORD 3068 be x1961 with x5973 thee.

 22:17 ¶ Dauid 1732 also commanded 6680 z8762 all x3605 the Princes 8269 of Israel 3478 to helpe 5826 z8800 Solomon 8010 his sonne, 1121 [saying],

 22:18 Is not x3808 the LORD 3068 your God 430 with x5973 you? and hath he [not] giuen you rest 5117 z8689 on euery side? 5439 x4480 for x3588 he hath giuen 5414 z8804 x853 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of the land 776 into mine hand, 3027 and the land 776 is subdued 3533 z8738 before 6440 the LORD, 3068 and before 6440 his people. 5971

 22:19 Now x6258 set 5414 z8798 your heart 3824 and your soule 5315 to seeke 1875 z8800 the LORD 3068 your God: 430 arise 6965 z8798 therfore, and build 1129 z8798 ye x853 the Sanctuary 4720 of the LORD 3068 God, 430 to bring 935 z8687 x853 the Arke 727 of the Couenant 1285 of the LORD, 3068 & the holy 6944 vessels 3627 of God, 430 into the house 1004 that is to be built 1129 z8737 to the Name 8034 of the LORD. 3068
