1 David subdueth the Philistines and the Moabites. 3 He smiteth Hadarezer and the Syrians. 9 Tou sendeth Hadoram with presents to bless David. 11 The presents and spoil David dedicated to God. 13 He putteth garrisons in Edom. 14 David's officers.

 18:1 ¶ Now after x310 this, y310 x3651 it came to passe, x1961 that Dauid 1732 smote 5221 z8686 x853 the Philistines 6430 & subdued 3665 z8686 them, and tooke 3947 z8799 x853 Gath, 1661 and her townes 1323 out of the hand 3027 x4480 of the Philistines. 6430

 18:2 And he smote 5221 z8686 x853 Moab, 4124 and the Moabites 4124 became x1961 Dauids 1732 seruants, 5650 [and] brought 5375 z8802 gifts. 4503

 18:3 ¶ And Dauid 1732 smote 5221 z8686 x853 Hadarezer 1928 king 4428 of Zobah 6678 vnto Hamath, 2574 as hee went y3212 z8800 x1980 to stablish 5324 z8687 his dominion 3027 by the riuer 5104 Euphrates. 6578
