Psalms 81

1 An exhortation to a solemn praising of God. 4 God challengeth that duty by reason of his benefits. 8 God, exhorting to obedience, complaineth of their disobedience, which proveth their own hurt.

 81:2 Take 5375 z8798 a psalm, 2172 and bring 5414 z8798 hither the timbrel, 8596 the pleasant 5273 harp 3658 with x5973 the psaltery. 5035

 81:3 Blow up 8628 z8798 the trumpet 7782 in the new moon, 2320 in the time appointed, 3677 on our solemn feast 2282 day. 3117

 81:4 For x3588 this x1931 [was] a statute 2706 for Israel, 3478 [and] a law 4941 of the God 430 of Jacob. 3290

 81:5 This he ordained 7760 z8804 in Joseph 3084 [for] a testimony, 5715 when he went out 3318 z8800 through x5921 the land 776 of Egypt: 4714 [where] I heard 8085 z8799 a language 8193 [that] I understood 3045 z8804 not. x3808

 81:8 Hear, 8085 z8798 O my people, 5971 and I will testify 5749 z8686 unto thee: O Israel, 3478 if x518 thou wilt hearken 8085 z8799 unto me;

 81:9 There shall no x3808 strange 2114 z8801 god 410 be x1961 in thee; neither x3808 shalt thou worship 7812 z8691 any strange 5236 god. 410

 81:10 I x595 [am] the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 which brought 5927 z8688 thee out of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt: 4714 open thy mouth 6310 wide, 7337 z8685 and I will fill 4390 z8762 it.

 81:11 But my people 5971 would not x3808 hearken 8085 z8804 to my voice; 6963 and Israel 3478 would 14 z8804 none x3808 of me.

 81:12 So I gave them up 7971 z8762 unto their own hearts' 3820 lust: 8307 [and] they walked y3212 z8799 x1980 in their own counsels. 4156

 81:13 Oh y3863 that x3863 my people 5971 had hearkened 8085 z8802 unto me, [and] Israel 3478 had walked 1980 z8762 in my ways! 1870

 81:14 I should soon 4592 have subdued 3665 z8686 their enemies, 341 z8802 and turned 7725 z8686 my hand 3027 against x5921 their adversaries. 6862

 81:15 The haters 8130 z8764 of the LORD 3068 should have submitted 3584 z8762 themselves unto him: but their time 6256 should have endured x1961 forever. 5769

 81:16 He should have fed 398 z8686 them also with the finest 2459 x4480 of the wheat: 2406 and with honey 1706 out of the rock 6697 x4480 should I have satisfied 7646 z8686 thee.
