Jeremiah 7

1 Jeremiah is sent to call for true repentance, to prevent the Jews' captivity. 8 He rejecteth their vain confidence, 12 by the example of Shiloh. 17 He threateneth them for their idolatry. 21 He rejecteth the sacrifices of the disobedient. 29 He exhorteth to mourn for their abominations in Tophet, 32 and the judgments for the same.

 7:3 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts, 6635 the God 430 of Israel, 3478 Amend 3190 z8685 your ways 1870 and your doings, 4611 and I will cause you to dwell 7931 z8762 in this x2088 place. 4725

 7:7 Then will I cause you to dwell 7931 z8765 in this x2088 place, 4725 in the land 776 that x834 I gave 5414 z8804 to your fathers, 1 for y5704 ever 5769 x4480 and ever. 5769 x5704

 7:11 Is this x2088 house, 1004 which x834 is called 7121 z8738 by x5921 my name, 8034 become x1961 a den 4631 of robbers 6530 in your eyes? 5869 Behold, x2009 even x1571 I x595 have seen 7200 z8804 [it], saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 7:12 But x3588 go y3212 z8798 x1980 ye now x4994 unto x413 my place 4725 which x834 [was] in Shiloh, 7887 where x834 I set 7931 z8765 my name 8034 at the first, 7223 and see 7200 z8798 x853 what x834 I did 6213 z8804 to it for 6440 x4480 the wickedness 7451 of my people 5971 Israel. 3478

 7:14 Therefore will I do 6213 z8804 unto [this] house, 1004 which x834 is called 7121 z8738 by x5921 my name, 8034 wherein x834 ye x859 trust, 982 z8802 and unto the place 4725 which x834 I gave 5414 z8804 to you and to your fathers, 1 as x834 I have done 6213 z8804 to Shiloh. 7887

 7:15 And I will cast x7993 you out y7993 z8689 of x4480 x5921 my sight, 6440 as x834 I have cast out 7993 z8689 x853 all x3605 your brethren, 251 x853 [even] the whole x3605 seed 2233 of Ephraim. 669

 7:16 Therefore pray 6419 z8691 not x408 thou x859 for x1157 this x2088 people, 5971 neither x408 lift up 5375 z8799 cry 7440 nor prayer 8605 for x1157 them, y1157 neither x408 make intercession 6293 z8799 to me: for x3588 I will not x369 hear 8085 z8802 thee.

 7:17 ¶ Seest 7200 z8802 thou not x369 what x4100 they x1992 do 6213 z8802 in the cities 5892 of Judah 3063 and in the streets 2351 of Jerusalem? 3389

 7:18 The children 1121 gather 3950 z8764 wood, 6086 and the fathers 1 kindle 1197 z8764 x853 the fire, 784 and the women 802 knead 3888 z8802 [their] dough, 1217 to make 6213 z8800 cakes 3561 to the queen 4446 of heaven, 8064 and to pour out 5258 z8687 drink offerings 5262 unto other 312 gods, 430 that x4616 they may provoke me to anger. 3707 z8687

 7:22 For x3588 I spake 1696 z8765 not x3808 unto x853 your fathers, 1 nor x3808 commanded 6680 z8765 them in the day 3117 that I brought x3318 them out y3318 z8687 of the land 776 x4480 of Egypt, 4714 concerning 1697 x5921 burnt offerings 5930 or sacrifices: 2077

 7:23 But x3588 x518 x853 this x2088 thing 1697 commanded 6680 z8765 I them, saying, 559 z8800 Obey 8085 z8798 my voice, 6963 and I will be x1961 your God, 430 and ye x859 shall be x1961 my people: 5971 and walk 1980 z8804 ye in all x3605 the ways 1870 that x834 I have commanded 6680 z8762 you, that x4616 it may be well 3190 z8799 unto you.

 7:24 But they hearkened 8085 z8804 not, x3808 nor x3808 inclined 5186 z8689 x853 their ear, 241 but walked y3212 z8799 x1980 in the counsels 4156 [and] in the imagination 8307 of their evil 7451 heart, 3820 and went x1961 backward, 268 and not x3808 forward. 6440

 7:26 Yet they hearkened 8085 z8804 not x3808 unto x413 me, nor x3808 inclined 5186 z8689 x853 their ear, 241 but hardened 7185 z8686 x853 their neck: 6203 they did worse 7489 z8689 than their fathers. 1 x4480

 7:27 Therefore thou shalt speak 1696 z8765 x853 all x3605 these x428 words 1697 unto x413 them; but they will not x3808 hearken 8085 z8799 to x413 thee: thou shalt also call 7121 z8804 unto x413 them; but they will not x3808 answer 6030 z8799 thee.

 7:28 But thou shalt say 559 z8804 unto x413 them, This x2088 [is] a nation 1471 that x834 obeyeth 8085 z8804 not x3808 the voice 6963 of the LORD 3068 their God, 430 nor x3808 receiveth 3947 z8804 correction: 4148 truth 530 is perished, 6 z8804 and is cut off 3772 z8738 from their mouth. 6310 x4480

 7:29 ¶ Cut off 1494 z8798 thine hair, 5145 [O Jerusalem], and cast [it] away, 7993 z8685 and take up 5375 z8798 a lamentation 7015 on x5921 high places; 8205 for x3588 the LORD 3068 hath rejected 3988 z8804 and forsaken 5203 z8799 x853 the generation 1755 of his wrath. 5678

 7:30 For x3588 the children 1121 of Judah 3063 have done 6213 z8804 evil 7451 in my sight, 5869 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD: 3068 they have set 7760 z8804 their abominations 8251 in the house 1004 which x834 is called 7121 z8738 by x5921 my name, 8034 to pollute 2930 z8763 it.

 7:31 And they have built 1129 z8804 the high places 1116 of Tophet, 8612 which x834 [is] in the valley 1516 of the son 1121 of Hinnom, 2011 to burn 8313 z8800 x853 their sons 1121 and their daughters 1323 in the fire; 784 which x834 I commanded 6680 z8765 [them] not, x3808 neither x3808 came 5927 z8804 it into x5921 my heart. 3820

 7:32 ¶ Therefore, x3651 behold, x2009 the days 3117 come, 935 z8802 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 that it shall no x3808 more x5750 be called 559 z8735 Tophet, 8612 nor the valley 1516 of the son 1121 of Hinnom, 2011 but x3588 x518 the valley 1516 of slaughter: 2028 for they shall bury 6912 z8804 in Tophet, 8612 till there be no 369 x4480 place. 4725

 7:33 And the carcases 5038 of this x2088 people 5971 shall be x1961 meat 3978 for the fowls 5775 of the heaven, 8064 and for the beasts 929 of the earth; 776 and none x369 shall fray [them] away. 2729 z8688

 7:34 Then will I cause to cease 7673 z8689 from the cities 5892 x4480 of Judah, 3063 and from the streets 2351 x4480 of Jerusalem, 3389 the voice 6963 of mirth, 8342 and the voice 6963 of gladness, 8057 the voice 6963 of the bridegroom, 2860 and the voice 6963 of the bride: 3618 for x3588 the land 776 shall be x1961 desolate. 2723
