 49:1 ¶ Concerning the Ammonites, 1121 y5983 x5984 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD; 3068 Hath Israel 3478 no x369 sons? 1121 hath he no x369 heir? 3423 z8802 why x4069 [then] doth their king 4428 inherit 3423 z8804 x853 Gad, 1410 and his people 5971 dwell 3427 z8804 in his cities? 5892

 49:2 Therefore, x3651 behold, x2009 the days 3117 come, 935 z8802 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 that I will cause an alarm 8643 of war 4421 to be heard 8085 z8689 in x413 Rabbah 7237 of the Ammonites; 1121 5983 and it shall be x1961 a desolate 8077 heap, 8510 and her daughters 1323 shall be burned 3341 z8799 with fire: 784 then shall Israel 3478 be heir 3423 z8804 unto them that were x853 his heirs, 3423 z8802 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 49:3 Howl, 3213 z8685 O Heshbon, 2809 for x3588 Ai 5857 is spoiled: 7703 z8795 cry, 6817 z8798 ye daughters 1323 of Rabbah, 7237 gird 2296 z8798 you with sackcloth; 8242 lament, 5594 z8798 and run to and fro 7751 z8708 by the hedges; 1448 for x3588 their king 4428 shall go y3212 z8799 x1980 into captivity, 1473 [and] his priests 3548 and his princes 8269 together. 3162

 49:4 Wherefore x4100 gloriest 1984 z8691 thou in the valleys, 6010 thy flowing 2100 z8802 valley, 6010 O backsliding 7728 daughter? 1323 that trusted 982 z8802 in her treasures, 214 [saying], Who x4310 shall come 935 z8799 unto x413 me?

 49:5 Behold, x2009 I will bring 935 z8688 a fear 6343 upon x5921 thee, saith 5002 z8803 the Lord 136 GOD 3069 of hosts, 6635 from all x4480 x3605 those that be about 5439 thee; and ye shall be driven out 5080 z8738 every man 376 right forth; 6440 and none x369 shall gather up 6908 z8764 him that wandereth. 5074 z8802

 49:6 And afterward 310 x3651 I will bring again 7725 z8686 x853 the captivity 7622 of the children 1121 of Ammon, 5983 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 49:7 ¶ Concerning Edom, 123 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts; 6635 [Is] wisdom 2451 no x369 more x5750 in Teman? 8487 is counsel 6098 perished 6 z8804 from the prudent? 995 z8801 x4480 is their wisdom 2451 vanished? 5628 z8738

 49:8 Flee 5127 z8798 ye, turn back, 6437 z8717 dwell 3427 z8800 deep, 6009 z8689 O inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Dedan; 1719 for x3588 I will bring 935 z8689 the calamity 343 of Esau 6215 upon x5921 him, the time 6256 [that] I will visit 6485 z8804 him.

 49:9 If x518 grapegatherers 1219 z8802 come 935 z8804 to thee, would they not x3808 leave 7604 z8686 [some] gleaning grapes? 5955 if x518 thieves 1590 by night, 3915 they will destroy 7843 z8689 till they have enough. 1767

 49:10 But x3588 I x589 have made x853 Esau 6215 bare, 2834 z8804 I have uncovered 1540 z8765 x853 his secret places, 4565 and he shall not x3808 be able 3201 z8799 to hide y2247 z8736 himself: x2247 his seed 2233 is spoiled, 7703 z8795 and his brethren, 251 and his neighbours, 7934 and he [is] not. x369

 49:11 Leave 5800 z8798 thy fatherless children, 3490 I x589 will preserve [them] alive; 2421 z8762 and let thy widows 490 trust 982 z8799 in x5921 me.

 49:12 For x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD; 3068 Behold, x2009 they whose x834 judgment 4941 [was] not x369 to drink 8354 z8800 of the cup 3563 have assuredly y8354 z8800 drunken; 8354 z8799 and [art] thou x859 he x1931 [that] shall altogether y5352 z8800 go unpunished? 5352 z8735 thou shalt not x3808 go unpunished, 5352 z8735 but x3588 thou shalt surely y8354 z8800 drink 8354 z8799 [of it].

 49:13 For x3588 I have sworn 7650 z8738 by myself, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 that x3588 Bozrah 1224 shall become x1961 a desolation, 8047 a reproach, 2781 a waste, 2721 and a curse; 7045 and all x3605 the cities 5892 thereof shall be x1961 perpetual 5769 wastes. 2723

 49:14 I have heard 8085 z8804 a rumour 8052 from x4480 x854 the LORD, 3068 and an ambassador 6735 is sent 7971 z8803 unto the heathen, 1471 [saying], Gather ye together, 6908 z8690 and come 935 z8798 against x5921 her, and rise up 6965 z8798 to the battle. 4421

 49:15 For, x3588 lo, x2009 I will make 5414 z8804 thee small 6996 among the heathen, 1471 [and] despised 959 z8803 among men. 120

 49:16 Thy terribleness 8606 hath deceived 5377 z8689 thee, [and] the pride 2087 of thine heart, 3820 O thou that dwellest 7931 z8802 in the clefts 2288 of the rock, 5553 that holdest 8610 z8802 the height 4791 of the hill: 1389 though x3588 thou shouldest make thy nest 7064 as high 1361 z8686 as the eagle, 5404 I will bring thee down 3381 z8686 from thence, x4480 x8033 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 49:17 Also Edom 123 shall be x1961 a desolation: 8047 every one x3605 that goeth 5674 z8802 by x5921 it shall be astonished, 8074 z8799 and shall hiss 8319 z8799 at x5921 all x3605 the plagues 4347 thereof.

 49:18 As in the overthrow 4114 of Sodom 5467 and Gomorrah 6017 and the neighbour 7934 [cities] thereof, saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 no x3808 man 376 shall abide 3427 z8799 there, x8033 neither x3808 shall a son 1121 of man 120 dwell 1481 z8799 in it.

 49:19 Behold, x2009 he shall come up 5927 z8799 like a lion 738 from the swelling 1347 x4480 of Jordan 3383 against x413 the habitation 5116 of the strong: 386 but x3588 I will suddenly 7280 z8686 make him run away 7323 z8686 from x4480 x5921 her: and who x4310 [is] a chosen 977 z8803 [man, that] I may appoint 6485 z8799 over x413 her? for x3588 who x4310 [is] like me? x3644 and who x4310 will appoint x3259 me the time? y3259 z8686 and who x4310 [is] that x2088 shepherd 7462 z8802 that x834 will stand 5975 z8799 before 6440 me?

 49:20 Therefore x3651 hear 8085 z8798 the counsel 6098 of the LORD, 3068 that x834 he hath taken 3289 z8804 against x413 Edom; 123 and his purposes, 4284 that x834 he hath purposed 2803 z8804 against x413 the inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Teman: 8487 Surely x518 x3808 the least 6810 of the flock 6629 shall draw them out: 5498 z8799 surely x518 x3808 he shall make their habitations 5116 desolate 8074 z8686 with x5921 them.

 49:21 The earth 776 is moved 7493 z8804 at the noise 6963 x4480 of their fall, 5307 z8800 at the cry 6818 the noise 6963 thereof was heard 8085 z8738 in the Red 5488 sea. 3220

 49:22 Behold, x2009 he shall come up 5927 z8799 and fly 1675 z8799 as the eagle, 5404 and spread 6566 z8799 his wings 3671 over x5921 Bozrah: 1224 and at that x1931 day 3117 shall the heart 3820 of the mighty men 1368 of Edom 123 be x1961 as the heart 3820 of a woman 802 in her pangs. 6887 z8688

 49:23 ¶ Concerning Damascus. 1834 Hamath 2574 is confounded, 954 z8804 and Arpad: 774 for x3588 they have heard 8085 z8804 evil 7451 tidings: 8052 they are fainthearted; 4127 z8738 [there is] sorrow 1674 on the sea; 3220 it cannot 3201 z8799 x3808 be quiet. 8252 z8687

 49:24 Damascus 1834 is waxed feeble, 7503 z8804 [and] turneth y6437 z8689 herself x6437 to flee, 5127 z8800 and fear 7374 hath seized 2388 z8689 on [her]: anguish 6869 and sorrows 2256 have taken 270 z8804 her, as a woman in travail. 3205 z8802

 49:25 How x349 is the city 5892 of praise 8416 not x3808 left, 5800 z8795 the city 7151 of my joy! 4885

 49:26 Therefore x3651 her young men 970 shall fall 5307 z8799 in her streets, 7339 and all x3605 the men y582 x376 of war 4421 shall be cut off 1826 z8735 in that x1931 day, 3117 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD 3068 of hosts. 6635

 49:27 And I will kindle 3341 z8689 a fire 784 in the wall 2346 of Damascus, 1834 and it shall consume 398 z8804 the palaces 759 of Benhadad. 1130

 49:28 ¶ Concerning Kedar, 6938 and concerning the kingdoms 4467 of Hazor, 2674 which x834 Nebuchadrezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 shall smite, 5221 z8689 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD; 3068 Arise 6965 z8798 ye, go up 5927 z8798 to x413 Kedar, 6938 and spoil 7703 z8798 x853 the men 1121 of the east. 6924

 49:29 Their tents 168 and their flocks 6629 shall they take away: 3947 z8799 they shall take 5375 z8799 to themselves their curtains, 3407 and all x3605 their vessels, 3627 and their camels; 1581 and they shall cry 7121 z8804 unto x5921 them, Fear 4032 [is] on every side. 5439 x4480

 49:30 ¶ Flee, 5127 z8798 get 5110 z8798 you far off, 3966 dwell 3427 z8800 deep, 6009 z8689 O ye inhabitants 3427 z8802 of Hazor, 2674 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD; 3068 for x3588 Nebuchadrezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894 hath taken x3289 counsel 6098 y3289 z8804 against x5921 you, and hath conceived 2803 z8804 a purpose 4284 against x5921 you.

 49:31 Arise, 6965 z8798 get you up 5927 z8798 unto x413 the wealthy 7961 nation, 1471 that dwelleth 3427 z8802 without care, 983 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 which have neither x3808 gates 1817 nor x3808 bars, 1280 [which] dwell 7931 z8799 alone. 910

 49:32 And their camels 1581 shall be x1961 a booty, 957 and the multitude 1995 of their cattle 4735 a spoil: 7998 and I will scatter 2219 z8765 into all x3605 winds 7307 them [that are] in the utmost 7112 z8803 corners; 6285 and I will bring 935 z8686 x853 their calamity 343 from all x4480 x3605 sides 5676 thereof, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 49:33 And Hazor 2674 shall be x1961 a dwelling 4583 for dragons, 8577 [and] a desolation 8077 for y5704 ever: 5769 x5704 there shall no x3808 man 376 abide 3427 z8799 there, x8033 nor x3808 [any] son 1121 of man 120 dwell 1481 z8799 in it.

 49:34 ¶ The word 1697 of the LORD 3068 that x834 came x1961 to x413 Jeremiah 3414 the prophet 5030 against x413 Elam 5867 in the beginning 7225 of the reign 4438 of Zedekiah 6667 king 4428 of Judah, 3063 saying, 559 z8800

 49:35 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD 3068 of hosts; 6635 Behold, x2009 I will break 7665 z8799 x853 the bow 7198 of Elam, 5867 the chief 7225 of their might. 1369

 49:36 And upon x413 Elam 5867 will I bring 935 z8689 the four 702 winds 7307 from the four 702 x4480 quarters 7098 of heaven, 8064 and will scatter 2219 z8765 them toward all x3605 those x428 winds; 7307 and there shall be x1961 no x3808 nation 1471 whither x834 x8033 the outcasts 5080 z8737 of Elam 5867 z8675 y5769 shall not x3808 come. 935 z8799

 49:37 For I will cause x853 Elam 5867 to be dismayed 2865 z8689 before 6440 their enemies, 341 z8802 and before 6440 them that seek 1245 z8764 their life: 5315 and I will bring 935 z8689 evil 7451 upon x5921 them, [even] x853 my fierce 2740 anger, 639 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD; 3068 and I will send 7971 z8765 x853 the sword 2719 after 310 them, till x5704 I have consumed 3615 z8763 them:

 49:38 And I will set 7760 z8804 my throne 3678 in Elam, 5867 and will destroy 6 z8689 from thence x4480 x8033 the king 4428 and the princes, 8269 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 49:39 ¶ But it shall come to pass x1961 in the latter 319 days, 3117 [that] I will bring again 7725 z8686 z8675 z8799 x853 the captivity 7622 z8675 of Elam, 5867 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068
