Isaiah 66

1 The glorious God will be served in humble sincerety. 5 He comforteth the humble with the marvellous generation, 10 and with the gracious benefits of the Church. 15 God's severe judgments against the wicked. 19 The Gentiles shall have an holy Church, 24 and see the damnation of the wicked.

 66:1 ¶ Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 The heaven 8064 [is] my throne, 3678 and the earth 776 [is] my footstool: 7272 1916 where x335 [is] the house 1004 that x834 ye build 1129 z8799 unto me? and where x335 [is] the x2088 place 4725 of my rest? 4496

 66:2 For all x3605 those x428 [things] hath mine hand 3027 made, 6213 z8804 and all x3605 those x428 [things] have been, x1961 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD: 3068 but to x413 this x2088 [man] will I look, 5027 z8686 [even] to x413 [him that is] poor 6041 and of a contrite 5223 spirit, 7307 and trembleth 2730 at x5921 my word. 1697

 66:3 He that killeth 7819 z8802 an ox 7794 [is as if] he slew 5221 z8688 a man; 376 he that sacrificeth 2076 z8802 a lamb, 7716 [as if] he cut off y6202 z0 a dog's y3611 neck; 6202 z8802 x3611 he that offereth 5927 z8688 an oblation, 4503 [as if he offered] swine's 2386 blood; 1818 he that burneth 2142 z8688 incense, 3828 [as if] he blessed 1288 z8764 an idol. 205 Yea, x1571 they x1992 have chosen 977 z8804 their own ways, 1870 and their soul 5315 delighteth 2654 z8804 in their abominations. 8251

 66:4 I x589 also x1571 will choose 977 z8799 their delusions, 8586 and will bring 935 z8686 their fears 4035 upon them; because x3282 when I called, 7121 z8804 none x369 did answer; 6030 z8802 when I spake, 1696 z8765 they did not x3808 hear: 8085 z8804 but they did 6213 z8799 evil 7451 before mine eyes, 5869 and chose 977 z8804 [that] in which x834 I delighted 2654 z8804 not. x3808

 66:5 ¶ Hear 8085 z8798 the word 1697 of the LORD, 3068 ye that tremble 2730 at x413 his word; 1697 Your brethren 251 that hated 8130 z8802 you, that cast you out 5077 z8764 for my name's y8034 sake, x4616 x8034 said, 559 z8804 Let the LORD 3068 be glorified: 3513 z8799 but he shall appear 7200 z8737 to your joy, 8057 and they x1992 shall be ashamed. 954 z8799

 66:6 A voice 6963 of noise 7588 from the city, 5892 x4480 a voice 6963 from the temple, 1964 x4480 a voice 6963 of the LORD 3068 that rendereth 7999 z8764 recompence 1576 to his enemies. 341 z8802

 66:7 Before x2962 she travailed, 2342 z8799 she brought forth; 3205 z8804 before x2962 her pain 2256 came, 935 z8799 she was delivered 4422 z8689 of a man child. 2145

 66:8 Who x4310 hath heard 8085 z8804 such a thing? x2063 who x4310 hath seen 7200 z8804 such things? x428 Shall the earth 776 be made to bring forth 2342 z8714 in one 259 day? 3117 [or] shall a nation 1471 be born 3205 z8735 at once? 6471 x259 for x3588 as soon x1571 as y1571 Zion 6726 travailed, 2342 z8804 she brought forth 3205 z8804 x853 her children. 1121

 66:9 Shall I x589 bring to the birth, 7665 z8686 and not x3808 cause to bring forth? 3205 z8686 saith 559 z8799 the LORD: 3068 shall I 589 cause to bring forth, 3205 z8688 and shut 6113 z8804 [the womb]? saith 559 z8804 thy God. 430

 66:10 Rejoice 8055 z8798 ye with x854 Jerusalem, 3389 and be glad 1523 z8798 with her, all x3605 ye that love 157 z8802 her: rejoice 7797 z8798 for joy 4885 with x854 her, all x3605 ye that mourn 56 z8693 for x5921 her:

 66:11 That x4616 ye may suck, 3243 z8799 and be satisfied 7646 z8804 with the breasts 7699 x4480 of her consolations; 8575 that x4616 ye may milk out, 4711 z8799 and be delighted 6026 z8694 with the abundance 2123 x4480 of her glory. 3519

 66:12 For x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 Behold, x2009 I will extend 5186 z8802 peace 7965 to x413 her like a river, 5104 and the glory 3519 of the Gentiles 1471 like a flowing 7857 z8802 stream: 5158 then shall ye suck, 3243 z8804 ye shall be borne 5375 z8735 upon x5921 [her] sides, 6654 and be dandled 8173 z8746 upon x5921 [her] knees. 1290

 66:13 As one 376 whom x834 his mother 517 comforteth, 5162 z8762 so x3651 will I x595 comfort 5162 z8762 you; and ye shall be comforted 5162 z8792 in Jerusalem. 3389

 66:14 And when ye see 7200 z8804 [this], your heart 3820 shall rejoice, 7797 z8804 and your bones 6106 shall flourish 6524 z8799 like an herb: 1877 and the hand 3027 of the LORD 3068 shall be known 3045 z8738 toward x854 his servants, 5650 and [his] indignation 2194 z8804 toward x854 his enemies. 341 z8802

 66:15 For, x3588 behold, x2009 the LORD 3068 will come 935 z8799 with fire, 784 and with his chariots 4818 like a whirlwind, 5492 to render 7725 z8687 his anger 639 with fury, 2534 and his rebuke 1606 with flames 3851 of fire. 784

 66:16 For x3588 by fire 784 and by his sword 2719 will the LORD 3068 plead 8199 z8737 with x854 all x3605 flesh: 1320 and the slain 2491 of the LORD 3068 shall be many. 7231 z8804

 66:17 They that sanctify y6942 z8693 themselves, x6942 and purify y2891 z8693 themselves x2891 in x413 the gardens 1593 behind 310 one 259 [tree] in the midst, 8432 eating 398 z8802 swine's 2386 flesh, 1320 and the abomination, 8263 and the mouse, 5909 shall be consumed 5486 z8799 together, 3162 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

 66:18 For I x595 [know] their works 4639 and their thoughts: 4284 it shall come, 935 z8802 that I will gather 6908 z8763 x853 all x3605 nations 1471 and tongues; 3956 and they shall come, 935 z8804 and see 7200 z8804 x853 my glory. 3519

 66:19 And I will set 7760 z8804 a sign 226 among them, and I will send 7971 z8765 those that escape 6412 of them x4480 unto x413 the nations, 1471 [to] Tarshish, 8659 Pul, 6322 and Lud, 3865 that draw 4900 z8802 the bow, 7198 [to] Tubal, 8422 and Javan, 3120 [to] the isles 339 afar off, 7350 that x834 have not x3808 heard 8085 z8804 x853 my fame, 8088 neither x3808 have seen 7200 z8804 x853 my glory; 3519 and they shall declare 5046 z8689 x853 my glory 3519 among the Gentiles. 1471

 66:20 And they shall bring 935 z8689 x853 all x3605 your brethren 251 [for] an offering 4503 unto the LORD 3068 out of all x4480 x3605 nations 1471 upon horses, 5483 and in chariots, 7393 and in litters, 6632 and upon mules, 6505 and upon swift beasts, 3753 to x5921 my holy 6944 mountain 2022 Jerusalem, 3389 saith 559 z8804 the LORD, 3068 as x834 the children 1121 of Israel 3478 bring 935 z8686 x853 an offering 4503 in a clean 2889 vessel 3627 into the house 1004 of the LORD. 3068

 66:21 And I will also x1571 take 3947 z8799 of x4480 them for priests 3548 [and] for Levites, 3881 saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 66:22 For x3588 as x834 the new 2319 heavens 8064 and the new 2319 earth, 776 which x834 I x589 will make, 6213 z8802 shall remain 5975 z8802 before 6440 me, saith 5002 z8803 the LORD, 3068 so x3651 shall your seed 2233 and your name 8034 remain. 5975 z8799

 66:23 And it shall come to pass, x1961 [that] from 1767 x4480 one new moon 2320 to another, 2320 and from 1767 x4480 one sabbath 7676 to another, 7676 shall all x3605 flesh 1320 come 935 z8799 to worship 7812 z8692 before 6440 me, saith 559 z8804 the LORD. 3068

 66:24 And they shall go forth, 3318 z8804 and look 7200 z8804 upon the carcases 6297 of the men y582 x376 that have transgressed 6586 z8802 against me: for x3588 their worm 8438 shall not x3808 die, 4191 z8799 neither x3808 shall their fire 784 be quenched; 3518 z8799 and they shall be x1961 an abhorring 1860 unto all x3605 flesh. 1320
